A wonderfully quiet base in a vibrant town. Super nice to do groceries in Les Halles to then be able to cook at home, interspersed with dinner parties outside the door. From the house, you can walk into the city center in a few minutes or cycle out of town to go along the Loire. The house is really recommended to everyone and offers a huge comfort. Highly recommended!!

Small apartment full of charm and super well decorated. Julien and Julie are responsive hosts and answer all your questions. We had a pleasant weekend to take our son to the Beauval zoo thanks to both of them. We highly recommend

Fabulous trip! We are so pleased with our choice to stay here - it was the perfect, cozy spot for me, my husband, and my mom & dad to explore Amboise. We could loll about drinking our coffee in the morning -- on the spacious patio or in the spacious living room -- and we LOVED being in a spot where we could walk to everything, as we didn't want to rent a car for our stay. It's not everyday that I walk outside and go, "Oh look, I'm RIGHT NEXT TO A CASTLE." Beautiful. The home is clean, well appointed, stocked with everything you need, and comfortable. Our only recommendation is to add a railing for the second flight of stairs up to the apartment, as my older parents (okay, and me!) would have benefited greatly from this. Hosts are responsive, friendly, clear, and informative. I would highly recommend this AirBnB for anyone coming to Amboise!

This place, is great. Although it’s small, it is very functional and has more than adequate bathroom space. It’s lovely and so clean! It was a great stay. The free parking lot across the street usually has places free (especially in the evenings and mornings), but once, returning early from a day of driving to chateaus, I found the lot full so had to wait a few minutes for a spot to open up. It wasn’t long. People staying in other towns come to see the castle and Leonardo Da Vinci’s house, so it may be more crowded around mid-day. Also, the roll out bed was a bit firm for my taste, but I still slept well and it’s nice to have the floor space during the day (easy to pull out/put away). The 2 windows face the river, have shades, and open to a lovely breeze - I didn’t need the AC at all and preferred the fresh air. The stairs are quite steep and curve around, but I didn’t have any issues getting luggage up - just don’t be too ambitious taking everything at once, they’re narrow.

Modern and peaceful flat. Comfortable bed, luxury shower. If you’re touring the Valley of the Kings this location is perfect. Amboise is a lovely, quaint French village offering numerous and varied dining choices. Second floor flat with no elevator so be prepared to climb stairs.

We had an absolutely lovely stay here. Alexandre was a great host, gave recommendations and guidance, and very responsive. The apartment was so clean and modern and spacious. We honestly thought it was even better than the photos. The kitchen is big and well stocked so we used it to make a home cooked meal. There’s even thoughtful touches here and there, for example there was some tupperware which was really convenient for us. The private parking spot was a locked garage spot and it was nice not having to search for parking. Location-wise, it is also great. Across the street is the river with some riverside bars. Around us was streets with shopping and restaurants, and the old town with Place Plumereau was a short walk away. Thank you again for a wonderful stay!

My husband and I had a most delightful stay in Amboise. The apartment is absolutely lovely! It is well designed, decorated and sparkling clean. The view from the living room window is stunning. The beds are very comfortable. The location is excellent. Pierre is a wonderful host he is very thoughtful and accommodating. This is one of the best accommodations we have had the pleasure of staying in.

We had a great time in Avignon. Great communication (clear, responsive). The apartment is very charming, well-equipped, as described and in a good location. The staircase to the beautiful bedroom is not suitable for children. The bathroom is great and perfectly equipped.

La Quintessence was the perfect place to stay for a long weekend in Amboise. The apartment is spacious and comfortable, with everything you could need to use. Sophie is a great host, with a long list of great recommendations which made the weekend easy and enjoyable. I would definitely come back!

This apartment is a small functional nest, well-equipped, close to Les Halles and restaurants. A favorite for its small outdoor space with pretty plants. Autonomy of arrivals and departures and responsiveness of Tom, all you need to have a pleasant short stay. I recommend it.

I was very well received by Carine who remained extremely discreet throughout my stay. The accommodation has an entrance independent of that of the house. It feels like coming home. The accommodation is very clean, very well located and nothing is missing. The place is quiet and relaxing. I am really happy with my stay and I will gladly come back.
