Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Locarno District

Yoko, Paolo, and their daughter were friendly and welcoming to their 400 year old home in Morcote. The attic room is spacious with its own living room besides bedroom. Steps from Morcote ferry, shops and restaurants, the location is ideal for ferry rides across Lake Lugano, exploring Morcote’s beautiful hilltop church with amazing views of the lake, and mountains of Lugano. Breakfast in the garden was a plus surrounded by Paolo’s garden and bonsais. Great chats and their local insights were spot on. Lovely stay and a joy to visit!

Obwohl ich nur für eine Nacht gebucht hatte, als Zwischenstopp einer längeren Fahrt, war es das wert, von Lugano bis nach Carona hochzufahren. Man wird mit einer herrlichen Aussicht belohnt, mit Ruhe und dem Charme des Dorfes und seiner zauberhaften Häuser. Der Blick aus meinem Fenster war ein Traum. In Barbaras geschmackvoll eingerichteter und sehr sauberen Wohnung fühlte ich mich sehr wohl. Der Check-In, den Barbaras netter Sohn übernommen hatte, war unkompliziert. Ich komme gerne wieder!

Das war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt in einer angenehmen und persönlichen Atmosphäre. Das Zimmer das Bad die kleine Pentry alles war großzügig, auch wenn wir das kleinste Zimmer gebucht hatten und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Eigentümer sind sehr freundlich angenehm und kommunikativ und das Airbnb ist absolut weiter zu empfehlen. Außerdem ist der Standort einer der schönsten am Luganer See. Von dort aus kann man einen schönen Weg bis zum nächsten Ort gehen man hat Zugang zum See. Es uns sehr gut gefallen.

What a BRILLIANT week in Lugano - made so much better by this wonderful room which I was delighted to find. It had all the benefits of the hotel - just a much simpler, unfussy room which suited me perfectly! Couldn't fault it. Thank you to the wonderful staff for a lovely week.

Das Zimmer war wie beschrieben etwas alt und unrenoviert in einem Hotel gelegen. Das Hotel hatte die perfekte Lage mit Seeblick und direkt an vielen Restaurants und der Shoppingmeile gelegen. Uns hat der Poolbereich sehr gefallen und dass das Frühstück inklusive war ist ein großer Pluspunkt gegenüber anderen Unterkünften. Der Check-in war leider erst gegen 15.30 möglich aber wir konnten vorher schon den Poolbereich nutzen. Ich würde wieder kommen :)

Maya’s place was our idea of a getaway. You get to connect with the nature and get to experience a bit of the life of the locals. Maya was a super super host; we felt welcomed and right at home. Sehr gepflegtes Haus mit einer herzlichen Gastgeberin und einem tollen Frühstück mit u.a. frischen ungarischen Spezialitäten. Unkompliziert und um das Wohl der Gäste bemüht. Da würde ich jederzeit wieder hingehen.

Roberto’s place was easy to find and centrally located. Communication was easy and friendly. Great price for the location. I would stay there again.

Très bel emplacement et petite mais belle chambre. Toutes les commodités requises et même de gentilles petites attentions.

Wij verbleven twee nachten met twee volwassenen, twee kinderen en een hond. Het was heerlijk rustig, Rosa is super vriendelijk en de ontbijtjes waren geweldig. Rosa en Simona: ontzettend bedankt en wellicht tot een volgende keer.

Elisabetta is a wonderful host and cook. We were a birthday party of eight and felt right at home in that beautiful place of hers. All rooms were exceptionally beautiful and tastefully furnished, we were stunned. We truly had an amazing time and thank Elisabetta for having us. We highly recommend making the way to her beautiful home and just enjoy the beauty and quiet. Thank you again!

We had a great time staying here! Very sweet family who were easy to get a hold of and super friendly. The apartment is located in a calm and friendly neighbourhood, in walking distance to both beaches and city life. Beautiful garden, big bathrooms and very clean. 10/10 would recommend

ideal location as a stopover and wish to see Lugano in 2 or 3 days. in about 15 minutes walking you are at Lake Lugano. The property is very clean and the hosts are really welcoming. The property is very big and the room is convenient. it is not in the most modern state but it feels really homey.

Super freundliche Gastgeberin! Sehr liebevoll und detailverliebt eingerichtet und restauriert! Fantastisches Frühstück mit Bioprodukten. Auch glutenfreies Brot hat Sie im Vorfeld auf Anfrage besorgt. Absoluter Geheimtipp!

The place is amazing, beautiful surroundings, and the views are just breathtaking. Everything was perfect! Highly recommend. 10 out of 10.
