House holiday rentals in Llangollen

This was a lovely spacious house with lots of rooms to spread out socially. The pool was the most amazing feature. The host met us at the property to show us how the pool worked and to give us the lockbox code. They were friendly. They let us know we could message them if we needed anything, then they left us to our own privacy. You might need to bring a spare towel so you have one for the pool and one for the shower. Tea and coffee were provided but you need to make sure you have some milk with you. There was toilet roll, And kitchen roll. Washing up liquid. You might want to bring a box of tissues for General use and some multipurpose cleaning wet wipes. We had a lovely stay and we will definitely be returning.

Fantastic tranquil gem of a property ,so homely and cozy and private ,exactly as described by Helen ,the cottage has ,beautiful decor and is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need for a stay ,Helen has certainly gone above and beyond to ensure the cottage is truly a home from home ,spotlessly clean and the addition of a log burner really adds to the character of the property ,the cottage also provides stunning views of the mountains from the rear garden which are a real sight first thing in the morning ,Helen was a super host and provided all the information we required prior to arriving along with adding a personal touch of Welsh cake and a bottle of organic cider upon our arrival which was very much appreciated,there is plenty to see and do within the surrounding areas and the area as a whole is breathtaking ,my only regret is I didn't stay longer ,but hope to return in the not to distant future .thank you Helen

Coedfa Hall and the small adjoining house exceeded expectations - it is the most beautiful old house, full of character and charm with more than a dollop of old-world glamour and grandure....everything felt so special and yet we felt right at home. Our host had clearly thought so carefully about meeting guests' needs, with everything you need for a big family get together - well-equipped kitchen, amazing dining room, roaring fires, comfy sofas and a beautiful garden with multiple scenic sitting spots. Such a fantastic place, and amazing walks direct from the house! We will be back for another multi-generational gathering very soon!

We LOVED our stay here! The home is fabulous, so many spacious rooms to explore, each one decorated in a great way. The outdoor space is amazing, and was such a highlight of our stay, from the stunning countryside views, the lush pool, the immaculate sauna out building (a hot tub on the balcony or outside would be a cherry on top of a delicious cake). We also loved that the house was so well stocked in the kitchen and cupboards throughout the house, which made it easier and more enjoyable to just chill at the house. Everyone said that they're beds were super comfy too. The neighbours were very welcoming and helpful too, it was a lovely start to our stay meeting Les! It was easy to communicate with the host, and they messaged us 24 hours before check out to let us know we could check out later which was fab. Would definitely recommend staying here with a big group, plenty of space for everyone with a fab social dining table. Diolch yn fawr

Absolutely loved our stay. Clean and had everything we needed. Check in easy and friendly. Large parking area, and pool for swimming if the weather is on your side. Views from the cottage fantastic on a clear day. Great location for access to Snowdon and lovely scenic towns to visit. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful house in a lovely setting. As you'd expect, not a lot of entertainment immediately locally outside of the house other than walks (be warned footpaths are not maintained and impassible in places) but you don't book a place like this if you want hustle and bustle. Pool, hot tub and fire pit all great. Games room is in a separate building to the main house and so wasn't used as much as perhaps otherwise could have. Hosts are great and very welcoming, but they do live right next door which might not be everyone's cup of tea. It wasn't a big issue for us and we were left to our own devices. Spotlessly clean and well maintained. Hosts very accommodating if required and good communication 👍

Had a brilliant stay. Lorraine was an excellent host, full clear instructions on how to get to the air BnB, very welcoming and was great at communicating. The air BnB was ideally located for walks in Snowdonia, we spent three nights there. One room downstairs, very cosy kitchen and lounge, upstairs has a bathroom with shower and the bedroom with a comfy double bed. Had everything you would expect, really felt like a home from home. Would love to stay again.

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely accommodation in Llangollen! The place was spotlessly clean, which made for a really comfortable and welcoming experience. The hot tub was an absolute highlight – perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The location is ideal, just around the corner from the charming town center, making it easy to pop into shops, cafes, or enjoy a stroll along the canal. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Llangollen for a cozy and convenient getaway!

My stay at Jonathan's was fantastic, he is a very kind and hospitable host. He provided many local recommendations for eateries and has a folder full of sightseeing (and history) in the surrounding area. The accommodation is cosy, very clean and had everything we needed. It is a very peaceful location where you can enjoy the sound of the countryside (plus a little car traffic but nothing that disturbs you). Thank you so much for hosting us!

We had a lovely 3 night stay at Wim’s place in its beautiful surroundings! So peaceful and it lets you really get lost in the Welsh countryside. The chickens are very friendly, along with the sheep and the two cats, very homely feel to the place. We loved just sitting in the lounge and taking in the views.

We had the most wonderful stay at this charming orchard cottage in North Wales. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The cottage is beautifully presented. spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing break. The location is stunning, nestled in peaceful countryside with breathtaking views, yet just a short drive from local towns, scenic walking routes, and the coast. We especially loved the peaceful tranquil of the surrounding areas. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and thoughtful, providing helpful local tips and even leaving a few special touches for our arrival that made us feel so appreciated. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into making this a memorable place to stay. We left feeling refreshed and recharged, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit. Host met us whilst parking up and showed us to buttercup cottage. Cottage was absolutely beautiful. You'll say the word quircky often when you visit, but I promise in a good way. Just little bits to make you smile. The cottage is extremely relaxing, and private, and then there's the hot tub. . We had a few evenings just chilling and then lit the chimenea. The bedroom upstairs is amazing and massive. You hardly hear anything and because so high up away from the village, you can wake with the sun shining through the window.

Amazing place to relax, surrounded by nature and plenty of privacy. The home was spotless and clean, everything was as described. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it if you want to escape from the city life and have some peace & connect with the nature.

It was a great place, well located for Shrewsbury town centre with a pleasant walk along the river to get there. I would definately stay here again. Note: finding the property can be tricky when following 'sat nav', and working out how to reverse a car into the off-road drive required a bit of strategic thought, but that all seemed to add to the experience! Paul’s place was a very pleasant stay for the 6 of us and our 2 children. The property was clean and as described with all amenities available. Paul was also able to accommodate us on a last minute request regarding a baby cot. Would definitely recommend Paul’s property for large family or a group of 6 people, or even for couples who want to enjoy the place and be close to the nature of Wales.

Highly recommend! Such a beautiful cosy space perfect for a solo adventure or romantic couple getaway. The bed was so comfy, the black out blinds were great for if you want a lay in. Get location for mountain walks and the hot tub at the end of the day for achy limbs was perfect!

An absolute gem of a find. Stunning scenery right at the doorstep and a peaceful little spot. Stunning home not too busy and just right for a quiet couples getaway. Lisa was friendly and easy to communicate with and even offered local recommendations for things to do in the local area.

The Wash House is a quaint and quirky place that offers all the comforts of home in a tranquil and rural setting. Immaculately clean and with a super comfortable bed. It was exactly as described in the advert. Yes, you do have to go outside to go to the bathroom, yes it doesn't have any heating in there. Maybe in winter its a challenge but not in May when i stayed. Responsive to any questions through the app, easy to check in and out well appointed. i really enjoyed my 3 night stay. Half hour walk on a footpath, not well lit but safe, to the nearest pub/ restaurant/shop and fish n chip shop. Observations to be aware of, the stairs are not for anyone with a mobility problem, quite steep and coming down backwards is recommended. There was no microwave which might be a good addition, didn't bother me. Maybe update rhe outdoor seating area to match a great little place oozing charm. character and good value for money.
