LLWYNPUR at Torcoed Ganol, Porthyrhyd, Carmarthen

LinziRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Wonderful place, very off the grid and private. The space was ideal for a mixed family of 6. My son loved the separate room & bathroom attached to the house but through it's own door. The pool table was great. Kitchen was well stocked. Shower in the main bathroom wasn't great, so we used the ensuite shower which was good. Quite a long drive down to the property which you had to take slowly, but even with all the overnight rain it drained well and wasn't a problem, you just had to take your time. We had an issue on arrival, and Eluned responded well - we were able to fix the issue so it wasn't a problem after the first night. Wifi was good. We visited Tenby (great beach), Mynydd Mawr woodland park (great for the dogs and 15mins drive away), Penllergare Valley woods (lovely walk, waterfall and great cafe), Burry Port lighthouse (another great beach for a walk). Also Castell Talacharn Laugharne Castle. Hopefully be back again!

Unique, Private Boho Horse Box + Bath House

HannahRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The rain didn’t stop at all during our stay and the horsebox was the cosiest place to be. The highlight was 100% the outdoor bath with incredible views of the river and livestock all around. The water is super hot so you really can have a HOT outside bathe! Would have loved to have a fire pit and BBQ however the weather unfortunately didn’t allow. Had a few questions prior to our stay which Gaby answered. Thank you!

Cwtch Cottage

SkyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Me and my family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage! The only problem we had was we had no direct contact with the owner, the number Hoseasons had for them was incorrect and I couldn’t get hold of anyone for the check in and then for the entire stay. It wasn’t too much of a problem and it isn’t the owners fault but the number needs updating Incase you have any questions. Besides this the cottage was better than we expected and had was lovely and clean.

The Old Trout: West Wales Rural Barn Retreat

MarkRating, 5 stars5 months ago
This is a quiet peaceful place in rural west Wales. If that is where you want / need to be then this Air B&B is the best - certainly as good as or better than anywhere else you could stay. 5 stars for everything. Thank you Martin and Isobel.

'The Stable' luxury conversion in the countryside

YanRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We really enjoyed our stay at Justine’s place. Very cosy and clean. The only thing that can be changed may be getting a dishwasher in place if you decide to cook but it’s not a big deal if you don’t mind washing them up yourself. Another thing you need to bear in mind is that getting the exact address and post code prior to your departure as the direction via Airbnb is not really directing you to the right spot but an area. It was a nice area to drive around and the neighbourhood was friendly and helpful but it could be frustrating when you really want to find out where the place is. Justine the host is responsive but it’s better to get all the details beforehand. Other than these, everything else was perfect. Hope you enjoy your stay there. Highly recommend!
