We really enjoyed our stay in the house. It was exactly what we were looking for. A charming place equipped like a home with everything you need - even an EV charger. The house keeper was very helpful and responded promptly to all our questions. We would be happy to come back another time.

Monti di Luna was a perfect accomodation for my family of 5. Paola and Simone are caring hosts, provided excellent communication and were very responsive before and throughout our entire stay. The location is excellent, and the bikes provided allow you all the transportation you need to navigate Forte dei Marmi and feel like a local. The garden outside is simply lovely and incredibly peaceful. We cannot wait to return!

My family and I -- six adults and a 9 month old -- spent two delightful weeks at Il Granaio. Before our arrival, Greg (the host) put me in touch with Ally, the property manager, who provided much useful information in advance and ensured we could find our way to the hidden gem that is Il Granaio. Once we arrived, Ally was available as needed, responsive to my queries as we settled in. We enjoyed the Villa and property immensely, using it as a base camp as we did day trips all around Tuscany and a longer visit to the Ligurian coast. The house was comfortable, attractive, and well-outfitted, with fantastic views from the second floor; the surrounding countryside was peaceful and beautiful; the pool was a perfect place to cool off and relax after being out and about; and the billiard table provided enjoyment for all! And having our own washer and dryer was incredibly convenient, especially when traveling with a baby. Wonderful memories were made for our family at Il Granaio!

Genka was the perfect host from start to finish, and the villa surpassed our expectations. Communication with Genka was great - he was quick to reply and gave us all the information we needed on the local area and beyond, even organising a taxi to take us to a local vineyard. The villa is beautiful and well-stocked with everything we needed. Genka had even thought to provide plenty of mosquito repellent for the house! Everything was clean and in good order and someone came each day to clean the pool (which we used a lot!). There are a couple of small shops and a supermarket close-by. The villa is situated on top of a hill, from which you can watch the sunrise in the morning and the sunset on the other side of the house in the evening. We will find it very hard not to book Genka's villa every year for our holiday! Grazie mille, Genka!

A beautiful villa with exceptional views to the hills and valley. Various oudoor areas. Private location however close to sights and amenities. Cafes and restaurants not far however not walking distance, best accessed by own car. Electric bikes were available for sightseeing. Fantastic host, always responsive and helpful. Can warmly recommend.

Wir haben unsere Sommerferien mit 2 Kindern (vor Saisonstart) für 2 Wochen verbracht. Es hat uns allen herrvoragend gefallen und wir haben uns auf Anhieb sehr willkommen gefühlt. Die Gastgeber sind sehr hilfsbereit und doch nicht aufdringlich. Sie lassen einem sehr viel Privatsphäre. Nach einer Woche wurden wir proaktiv gefragt, ob wir neue Frottée- und Bettwäsche möchten. Die Kinder waren sehr willkommen. Der saubere, grosse und kostenlose Strand erreicht man über eine Privatstrasse, welche mit Velo oder Auto befahren werden kann. Es war einfach wunderschön und wir werden sicherlich wieder mal zurück kommen.

Du kan sluta leta nu! Detta är förmodligen det mest perfekta boendet och med den bästa värden i hela Toscana. Detta sagt av en mycket resvan och ganska kräsen familj från Sverige som denna gång åkte med tre söner 16, 18 och 22 år och äldste sonens fästmö. Värden Lorenzo är helt fantastisk både före och under vistelsen: snabba svar, otroligt hjälpsam och väldigt tillmötesgående. Du bor i en renoverad kvarn (två superfräscha separata byggnader varav en är nybyggd) i den lilla byn Montefoscoli, med vidunderlig utsikt över landskapet och solläge från morgon till kväll. Stor uteplats med grill och pool för härliga måltider och avkoppling. Inne finns allt man behöver och mer därtill: full utrustat kök, diskmaskin, tvättmaskin, strykutrustning, ac i varje sovrum. Bra wifi och tv-box. Utmärkt litet bageri 50 m från bostaden. En liten Coopbutik 5 minuters gångavstånd från bostaden med allt man behöver. Vi har redan tipsat vänner och bekanta om detta boende — bättre blir det inte!

Thanks Daniele for allowing us to stay in your home! The house is stunning and spacious- the azure room in particular is a dream! We loved the pool and the spectacular infinity views and all the greenery around the house. An easy 5 minute drive to Castelnuovo do Garfagnana for any supermarkets and a good base to explore the Apuan Alps. This house will have pretty much everything you need for a comfortable stay! Highly recommended!

Can't say enough great things about this villa and Cristina as it's host! This was a family trip with 12 of us, and the villa provided more than enough space, bathrooms, amenities, and convenience for everyone. Sleeping arrangements were plenty and comfortable, bathrooms were larger than what you might expect for a European villa, several of them with dual sinks as well, and lots of modern upgrades that made things convenient but nothing to steal away from the absolute charm of the villa, especially the back yard by the pool. We loved spending most of our time there when we weren't exploring inside the city walls of Lucca (which are right outside the front door of the villa, an easy 5-10 minute walk away!) There were also coffee shops, markets, a pharmacy, a bank, etc., right around the corner from the villa for even more convenience. And Cristina herself? AMAZING. So proactive with communication, provided tons of information, and was very kind and welcoming when we arrived. THE BEST.

Tolle Unterkunft, wunderschöne, friedliche Umgebung und sehr herzliche Gastgeber! Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Wir waren mit 7 Personen für unser Trainingscamp hier und hatten eine traumhafte Zeit in der Villa. Es ist wirklich noch schöner, als wir es aufgrund der Bilder erwartet hätten. Umgeben von Olivenbäumen und nur einer Hand voll anderer Häuser kann man perfekt abschalten - ob am Pool, im Garten oder in Haus selbst. Zara und Mark sind sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Auf jede Frage bekamen wir sofort eine Antwort und außerdem jede Menge hilfreiche Tipps, um unseren Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Zara hat uns bei einer kleinen morgendlichen Wanderung die Umgebung gezeigt. Diese Plätze hätten wir ohne sie niemals gefunden. Wir werden sicher wieder kommen.

Thankyou Brian (and family) for what was an unforgettable magical experience. The villa far surpassed all our expectations. The villa is beyond beautiful and oozes rustic charm, perfect for a large group. Rooms were clean and with beautiful views (on the top floor) to wake up to, so much so that it felt like a dream. Bathrooms were lovely and higher spec than expected for such an old building. swimming pool serves it's purpose, but it's in a gorgeous garden amongst olive groves....stunning. Brian and family were the perfect balance of keeping in touch and ensuring we had everything we needed whilst ensuring that we felt we had the place to ourselves, a perfectly ran operation. We arranged a dinner one evening in the house cooked by Brian's mother which was an amazing experience to enjoy such a wonderful setting with friends. thank you Brian! we already hope to return in future.

Die Unterkunft ist wirklich wunderbar und perfekt geeignet für zb mehrere Paare, da jedes Zimmer ein eigenes Badezimmer besitzt. Die Sonne kann man im schönen Außenbereich und im Pool genießen. An Fröschen die auch in der Nacht quaken sollte man sich allerdings nicht stören. Die gut ausgestattete Küche und der Grill machen die Unterkunft perfekt. Der einzige Nachteil waren die bellende Hunde der Nachbarn in den frühen Morgenstunden, aber bei geschlossenen Fenster ist es in Ordnung. Das Haus ist nur über einen steinigen Schotterweg erreichbar, aber es geht wenn man der Wegbeschreibung von Massimiliano folgt :) Ansonsten kann man vom Haus aus mit dem Auto Städte wie Livorno, Pisa oder Lucca sehr gut erreichen. Insgesamt eine klare Empfehlung für Unterkunft und Host!

We visited for a multi-generational family holiday - grandparents, kids and parents. The setting is wonderful, in the mountains of Fosciandora - an easy 1.20 hr drive from Pisa airport. We enjoyed having the option of the jacuzzi as well as the fresh water pool. And had local chefs cook for us several evenings. The local Tigalle meal was a special highlight on our first day - compliments to Chef Nenella. It’s a stunning place and we’d love to come back. Local trips we did were to Lucca (about an hour), Castelnuovo di Garfagnana and Barga. Pizza Indie was a great recommendation from Leo. Our hosts were so responsive and wonderful to speak to. They couldn’t have been more attentive. I can def imagine we’ll be back in years to come. Highly recommend the his wonderful place to anyone who truly wants to get away and switch off. The mountain air and beauty is good for the soul.

We had a fantastic relaxing stay at this place. The house was large and had everything you need to make yourself comfortable. The house and garden offered a great atmosphere with its nice places to sit and relax or having our meals. Thank you Elena and Eugenio for your hospitality and great service.

absolutely amazing!! Francesca made us feel right at home. the place was amazing and we definitely want to come back. the property is beautiful and great if you want to play tennis , ping pong, or swim… super fun. Francesca was so sweet, gave us great recommendations, and helped us with all our questions. She even graciously helped our grandma get a doctor to see her when she sick. 10/10 amazing !

We had a fantastic stay at the wonderful Meriggio Barn. The photos don’t do this gorgeous property justice! The house itself is beautiful, classically decorated and expansive space and very well equipped kitchen. All three bedrooms were a great size and the air conditioning kept us nice and cool . The house is set within beautiful rolling Tuscan hills with great views all around, enabling us to enjoy stunning sunsets every evening. The infinity pool was absolutely fantastic - a lot bigger than we expected and we had lots of fun relaxing and keeping cool in the water. The location is great - 40 mins to Pisa and the same for Florence, so we enjoyed visiting those cities as well as getting the train from Florence to Rome. Elisa and the owner Adolfo were perfect hosts, helping us swiftly with any questions we had or recommendations required (the tip to drive and park at the tram stop was perfect, as well as the recommendations for the best local pizza!). Die Unterkunft von Peter hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen ! Vor allem der Außenbereich mit toller Aussicht zwischen den Apfelbäumen und Traubensträuchern war der Wahnsinn. Zudem war dieser komplett eingezäunt-also ideal für Hundebesitzer. Wir kommen gerne wieder!!

This was one of our most memorable holidays. A guided tour to the house to which upon arrival I cannot describe the stunning, magical, peaceful view and surroundings! All made us most welcome! The surrounding towns (Callodi, Montecarlo, Pistoia), cities (Lucca) close by (30 mins) and trains to Florence very relaxing. The farmhouse, with great character, was comfortable, cool, and well equipped with many a family feast overlooking the valley under stars swimming. Many thanks to the loyal gardener! Amazing. Thank you for a magical break and we hope to return.

This property exceeded our expectations with spectacular views and peaceful, natural surroundings! The host was friendly and responsive. The proximity to San Gimignano and other Tuscan destinations was convenient. Each day felt magical! Just sitting on the patio was amazing! An unforgettable destination and experience!

Sabrina and Teresa greeted us at the gate of the villa when we arrived. Showed us around and were very responsive to us with any request during our stay. We had a relaxing and wonderful time. Curio hat uns sehr freundlich begrüßt und uns eine Führung durch das Haus gegeben. Für Fragen war er jederzeit erreichbar. Die Unterkunft war super, sehr schöne Lage. Jedes Schlafzimmer hat ein eigenes Bad mit WC und Dusche. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse ist fantastisch. Der große Pool ist zur alleinigen Nutzung und kann durch eine Pforte abgetrennt werden. Das Grundstück ist zu beiden Seiten durch Hecken abgegrenzt, dadurch hat man sehr viel Privatsphäre. Mein persönliches Highlight waren die Glühwürmchen, die wir dort abends beobachten konnten.

We've just arrived back in England after a lovely May half-term week at Monica's house - around 50 mins drive from Pisa airport. We are a family of four, so the kids shared the second bedroom and there was more than sufficient living space. The gardens are beautiful, pool clean and stylish and views amazing at the top of a hill. The air con was welcome as the weather hotted up and great selection of DVDs were very useful in the evenings. We were able to visit Florence, Siena and San Gimignano easily in our hire car. With local restaurants and supermarkets a short drive away, the house remained close enough to everything we needed yet far enough away from any town for it to give us the rest and peace we needed. Thank you Monica for sharing your home with us and the great recommendations and contact - we will definitely try to book again for any other trip to Tuscany.

The biggest recommendation!!! We loved this place. The house is filled with various cozy areas, so there is plenty of shade, as we were travelling with small babies. We loved the outdoor seating area, and the pool area is more beautiful than the images shows. Only thing we would mention, is that there is a 10-15min drive uphill a very narrow road before you reach the house. It was not a problem for us, as we wanted to stay as much time as possible at the house. Other than that, Francesca was an amazing host and was easy to communicate with. We would definitely come back another time!

Absolutely fantastic! We couldn’t have wished for a better place. The accommodation was both charming and comfortable, with incredible attention to detail. The view, the surroundings, and the overall atmosphere were simply magical – a true dream spot for relaxing. Everything was clean, well-organized, and inviting, and the hosts were warm and helpful from start to finish. We’re already dreaming of coming back!
