Luxurious Cottage in North Yorkshire

LizRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Thanks Flo & Phil for a great long weekend at Wood Cottage. In a very rural village it was so quiet and peaceful with a nice space outdoors to enjoy the sunny weather and sunsets. Wood Cottage has a beautiful and cosy interior and was perfect to enjoy with our two little children. Helpful baby items were provided and my toddler loved the dolls house and all the toys and jigsaws. We enjoyed exploring Castle Howard and Scampston gardens which are both short drives away. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing weekend in the county! Thanns.

Moo view Luxury Shepherd’s hut

AmyRating, 5 stars4 days ago
A lovely hut with stunning views, Martha was very good at communicating helping me with heating up the hot tub. The space was clean and tidy and Martha left us some treats as a welcome gift which was really nice! Only thing I would say there was a lot of flys inside and outside when we arrived but the weather was extremely hot so was not too surprised

Herbert Cottage, Westow, Near Malton, Yorkshire

AnneRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We have stayed at Herbert Cottage, before and was keen to return as it is fabulous! The cottage is decorated and furnished to an exceptional standard. Quality linens and towels plus quality kitchen equipment (love the mugs!) Everything you could possibly need was provided for. Elaine, the housekeeper, is an absolute gem. SO friendly and welcoming. The cottage was immaculately cleaned and smelled divine. Nothing was too much trouble. Its like meeting an old friend. The peace and tranquility suits us. Amazing sunsets to the gentle sound of the local cricket team. The local pub, The Blacksmith's Arms, is very good. They also do takeaways if you prefer. So much to do in the area. Plan to return

Old Forge in Wrelton, North Yorkshire.

FlorrieRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We had a lovely stay at the Old Forge - a charming cottage in peaceful and beautiful surroundings, and not far from lots of things to do! We enjoyed the North Yorkshire Moors Railway which we took from nearby Pickering, before a countryside walk in Goathland. We also explored Malton which is not far away, and hugely enjoyed Restaurant Mýse about 20 minutes away. Olwen's place had everything we needed for our long weekend stay. It was comfortable and homely, and Olwen made us feel extremely welcome. It was comforting to know she wasn't far away and had great recommendations too. We would highly recommend!

Renovated Malton bungalow with garage & driveway

AmandaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We have just returned from a 2 night break at Rebecca's lovely bungalow. From word go Rebecca was very responsive with clear instructions, even allowing us to arrive slightly earlier than the check-in time. The bungalow was spotless, well equipped & Rebecca had left us a lovely welcome basket, tea, coffee, biscuits, crisps & milk. The location is spot on, 10 minute walk in to the centre of Malton. The bungalow is located in a very quiet part of the neighbourhood, making it a really lovely stay. I don't have a anything negative to say about this place & would not hesitate to stay again.

Brook Farm Cottage, Old Malton

IanRating, 5 starstoday
We really enjoyed our stay at 115, everything you need is provided, plus a few extra bits. The lovely front garden was greatly appreciated in the heatwave during the first few days of our holiday! The Royal Oak (in easy walking distance) serves excellent meals with a South African twist. If you don't mind driving for an evening meal, we'd thoroughly recommend the Sun Inn at Normandy. Malton, just over a mile away, is a lovely little town with lots of local shops. Further afield, we enjoyed the National bird of prey centre at Helmsley and the Hole of Horcum walk in the North Yorks Moors. We will be returning in the near future to continue exploring this wonderful area..
