Cottage holiday rentals in Little Compton

The view from the property was the highlight of our trip. we spent all our time in the egg chairs watching the world go by wonderful location and the hot tub was warmed up for when we got there which was a welcomed treat after our long drive

we had a special time.. relaxing in hot tub . cottage was lovely comfortable and clean . only drawback in summer in you can't block out the light but it certainly did not spoil our stay... super super place ..

This is a beautiful property within easy reach of Upton upon Severn. The house is located in a quiet spot down a lane and has countryside views. It is tastefully decorated and is equipped with everything you could possibly need for a self catering stay. We loved the beautiful garden and patio areas and made good use of the pizza oven and hot tub. The kitchen/dining area was a good size and there was more than enough cutlery, crockery and glasses to go around. There were even plastic ‘glasses’ to use around the hot tub. The lounge was very homely and comfortable with a great view of the surrounding countryside. Each of the bedrooms was spacious with plenty of storage. The bathrooms were well appointed and the large, fluffy bath sheets were much appreciated. Claudia was an amazing and friendly host who clearly wants her guests to enjoy their stay. She answered all my queries promptly. All of my family loved the property and we would happily return.

We had a lovely stay at this cottage. It is truly beautiful and in a stunning location. The hosts were really helpful and responsive and responded very promptly to an issue regarding toilet paper and provided this within 5 minutes of us contacting them about this. Definitely would stay again

We absolutely loved our stay here. The malt house was beautiful inside and out. Katriona and Rupert were both really friendly and helpful and made our stay great. Loved the hot tub which was made all the better for the beautiful surroundings it is set in. The garden was incredible. The house was comfortable, clean and really relaxing to be in. We’ve stayed in a few nice air b and b places now and the malt house is by far the best. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and only left the house to visit Charlecote Park which is only across the road. Cannot recommend staying here enough. We had the best time and came away feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Would be 6 stars across the board if it was an option! The only negative was our stay felt like it came to an end far too quickly. We had a fantastic stay at Carley’s cottage. Carley is a wonderful host and was very friendly and welcoming and replied to any messages, promptly. Carley was so kind to let us arrive before check in and leave our food at the property, it was a hot sunny day and the food would have been sat in the car until check in at 4pm. Carley even unpacked this for us and put refrigerated items into the fridge. The house is beautiful and very clean with lovely finishing touches like robes, croissants, coffee and tea. Toiletries provided in the bathroom. Everything you need in the kitchen, including cleaning products, washing up liquid and kitchen roll. The location is fantastic, close to Bath and Bristol and has a lovely pub just down the road, around a 10 min walk. The garden of the property has lots of seating and we enjoyed a few hours sat in the sun. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return. Highly recommend. Thank you Carley for making our stay so enjoyable!!

We only stayed for two nights at Nuthatch Cottage, but wished we'd booked for more! A beautiful, tranquil location, cottage with a very homely feel. Meng had prepared the hot tub for us upon arrival, which was a lovely touch, and left biscuits, milk and eggs in the fridge. The bed was very comfortable, and everything was spotlessly clean. Meng sent us a list of recommendations as well as clear instructions prior to check in, which was extremely helpful. We will definitely be back!

It’s a cute little hut with beautiful & peaceful location , perfect for 4 . Even though we had a last minute addition the host was very helpful and eager to help us with sofa bed . Very responsive & helpful people who live next door only . They welcomed us with chips etc . Kitchen was fully equipped . Ample parking place was there for a long vehicle . It was a comfortable & memorable stay .

We loved our stay at Helen's place, the surroundings are absolutely beautiful. Lots of walks right out the door and lovely views from the house. The house had everything we needed and was really well set up for our long weekend away. We would highly recommend!

Dave gave us a very friendly welcome on arrival and showed us around the property. Tracey had prepared a homemade cake for our stay along with a small basket of provisions to get us started. The cottage has a private, fenced garden (very useful to keep dogs safe) and is surrounded by extensive gardens that you can wander around too. The kitchen was supplied with everything needed and with both bedrooms being en-suite, neither couple felt they had an inferior room and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. A real home-from-home experience. The option to have use of the hot tub for an additional fee was the icing on the cake. Being on the edge of the Forest of Dean and close to Gloucester and Ross on Wye, there were plenty of options for excursions. We loved our weekend and would definitely cover again.

Possibly the loveliest Airbnb we have stayed in, The Old Mill House exceeded our expectations. A peaceful, luxurious and cozy cottage with wonderful furnishings, everything we needed and the comfiest bed. A gorgeous scented diffuser and a full welcome basket greeted us on arrival as well as Neal’s Yard toiletries in the bathroom and fluffy towels. The paddock outside is a perfect running around area for dogs who are also spoilt with a doggy treat, blanket and muddy paws dog washing thingy (can’t remember what it’s called!!). Great walks literally on the doorstep. Maxine and John were perfect hosts, always very quick with their helpful answers to our questions. We loved our time here and will be back.

It was a lovely stay at a beautiful cottage. The cottage was everything we hoped for a little two day get away. We spent time on local walking footpaths and getting to know the local pubs. Our recommendations are; The Falcon, Ye Olde Reine Deer Inn and The Blinking Owl over the road. The owners of the Blinking Owl were lovely hosts, really traditional English pub and great food from Sylvia! We spent our New Years Eve there and it was a lovely evening. Couldnt have asked for a better stay. Mary was super helpful and responsive on the run up to the stay. We hope to visit again soon.

Deer View cottage is was absolutely gorgeous! It’s a traditional cottage, so the stairs are steep & takes some getting used too, however do not let this put you off. There is a secure garden for the dogs, however a public walkway right across the road through a wooded area & fields which lead to the village green & cafe! Perfect for a morning coffee. The cottage was extremely clean with everything in place ie towels, hand soap, tea towels, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets & toilet rolls (including spares). Bathroom & separate shower was perfect when sharing with family or couples. Definitely recommend Deer View cottage, it catered for all our needs including our dogs & the surprise views in the back garden was totally unexpected! Hosts were perfect!

The bungalow is clean, comfortable and provided all that we needed for a short Easter break. The living area was equipped with all the basics, as well as with free Wi-fi and Netflix, although no other channels were available. The tv was small (32"), especially when seated on the sofa or armchair. During our three night stay, the local Forest School and Oakraven Centre had children attending courses, so there was something of a mini 'Rush hour' in the morning and evening. It was not a problem but required wariness for walkers and opposing traffic in a single track road. The woodland walks locally are good and plentiful, Lorraine providing good guidelines to other attractions and trails. A beautiful area.

My wife and I loved everything about our stay which turned out to be too short as we loved it and the location so much, incredibly peaceful yet within a 10 minute walk were in the middle of beautiful Bourton, cannot recommend Tishy’s place highly enough and both her and her husband Richard were brilliant, friendly hosts, look forward to a return visit soon.

Really lovely few days in Cirencester in Jo’s cottage. Couldn’t ask for a prettier property, with all home comforts thought of, and an absolute walking distance from the town centre shops, restaurants and dog walks. Highly recommended, and will absolutely look out for next time we are in the area.

We had a fabulous stay at Peter and Victoria’s Coombe Cottage. We truly could not have asked for a better arrangement and setting. The cottage sits on the crest of a hill overlooking the lush landscape below. The cottage itself had all we needed; a comfortable seating, comfortable bed, and the shower was great. The Farm Store just outside Wotten has great meals, simple to prepare at the cottage for the evenings that we didn’t want to eat out. The only disappointment was that we couldn’t spend more time getting to know Peter and Victoria as they left for a trip shortly after we arrived. They are a lovely couple that live in the main house adjacent to the cottage.

What a beautiful cottage in a lovely quiet village. Our party of three had a fabulous time. The cottage is clean and cosy and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The beef bourguinon from our host on our first night was very welcome and absolutely delicious, thank you. The well kept garden was just the spot for an after dinner drink and relax after a day of exploring the Cotswolds. Communication from our host was responsive, friendly and helpful. Beds were really comfortable and WiFi was excellent. The cottage is really well located for enjoying long walks in the Cotswolds and easy access to Winchcombe, GWR steam railway, Sudely Castle, Broadway, Snowshill Manor and more. The friendly Royal Oak pub/restaurant and the historic Gretton Tower are a few minutes walk away, and not to be missed. Thank you Alex. We will be back.

Had a wonderful stay with my partner and dog to visit my family who lived near by. Alex and Vicky were so accommodating and laid back. We felt right at home! Definitely will be back

Lovely little break away! Spent most of the days relaxing and chilling inside the property after a walk over the common with the dogs! Ronnie the retriever loved making friends with the ponies and wasn't too happy about saying goodbye to them! Beautiful place to stay and just peaceful - just what was needed before baby arrives!

beautiful hide away in the Cotswolds...3 min walk to a friendly local pub. Driving there is not for the timid! (narrow streets), but with it when you arrive

A really lovely stay. We were very lucky with the weather so got to make to most of the beautiful garden and views which was our favourite part. There's lots of great paths to explore straight from the house. We walked to the dog friendly Red Lion for food through the fields in about 25 minutes. The Fold farm and cafe were definitely also worth a visit for the coffee and cake. I would recommend bringing socks or slippers for in the house as the traditional floors are lovely but cold on the feet.

Loved the cottage. Everything you need to hand. Beautiful views, cottage like a tardis, so spacious. Busy with holiday makers passing through the lock but peaceful & private enough Lovely staff in reception & so handy having shop next door with essentials. Lovely terraced area in front of cottage to watch the world go by. Butty Barge Cafe is a must visit just a few meters from cottage. FYI you are allowed to walk over the lock gates, for a longer canal side walk as walking distance is a but limited cottage side, we weren't sure til last day if possible. Host was very flexible with later check in & check out. Definitely fell in love with the cottage & location. We will return.
