Farmstay holiday rentals in Lisbon

It was what we expected. The bathroom was a bit dirty, but I guess that’s a lot due to individual visitors not cleaning up after themselves. Overall short but fine stay. Thanks.

Our stay was wonderful. Luis was the quintessential host. We loved hanging out in the garden in the sunshine and moonshine. However, there was a bit of early morning street noise.

Elizabeth's house gathers enough to spend a few quiet days, comfortable in an excellent atmosphere. The house is beautiful and all distribution and bathroom, kitchen, garden etc were in perfect condition. The only one but, is what other users have already described, parking is difficult and complicated to be a very narrow road. In general we recommend it to people who seek privacy and tranquility, but also to say that it is not accessible for people with reduced mobility... Finally mentioning Mafalda as a contact person while we were staying, was very friendly.

Great accommodation for activities around Lisbon. Magda was always available to us and helped us with questions. The animals on the farm were particularly popular with our children. Thus, a clear recommendation

The location is 30 mins from Lisbon - an exciting city to visit. 15 mins from Setubal, with it's many restaurants, famous with locals. For something more touristy, head to Sesimbra (30 mins, with a sandy beach, cafes, restaurants). The house is situated in a peaceful setting, with a private drive and parking, surrounded by fields and trees. It is on a road leading to Setubal, which can be occasionally noisy, but won't spoil your stay. The house is clean and offers a lot of comfort - good sized pool, BBQ area, fully equipped kitchen, living area with TV (Netflix etc). You could spend a full day in the house - swim, eat, relax and dine in the sunset evening. Host 'n Friends: Ricardo is a fantastic host, helpful, responsive and proactive with lots of recommendations. He takes good care of the house and makes guets feel at home. His friends are nice too :) Boss - the dog, chickens - who gave us eggs and sheep. The kids just loved it - thank you for making this one of our best holidays

It was a very pleasant experience! Margarida’s place is beautiful, quiet, comfortable, charming and she really made us feel like home. A true gem! Great place to stay for a family vacation with lots to do around.

I had a lovely stay at Isabel's caravan with my two kids (2 and 9 years old) and we all truly enjoyed the freedom of the farm, the natural surroundings and the children's play area outside. The chickens and Mr. Bacon were a big hit! The farm is super safe, no cars further than the shop entrance and just a handful of people walking around the farm so I felt safe letting them explore the farm within sight. The compost bathroom surprised us for the best, there was hardly any smell, everyone kept it super clean and restocked. The shower temperature was great. The caravan is quite small, like a doll house, but had everything we needed and was super comfortable. We cooked and did the dishes, brushed teeth and everything we needed in it, quite comfortably. The shop has wonderful produce, amazing fruit, ice cream and popsicles, groceries and dairy (plant-based mostly) and everyone is super helpful and friendly.

What a special place! Absolutely worth a visit and I would recommend to anyone looking for tranquility and magic. Aline and Dinesh and the whole staff are lovely. I will definitely return! A++!!!

Quinta da Bella Vista exceeded expectations. Dinesh, who checked us in, truly set the mood for our elopement with welcoming jazz music, wine, and cheese. The space was much larger than we anticipated, perfect for our pre-wedding prep. We loved it so much, we added an extra day to soak it all in! Aline and Dinesh's hospitality went above and beyond – their responsiveness to our needs made everything seamless. We couldn't resist adding the delicious breakfast each day (highly recommend!), fueling our explorations of the charming town within walking distance. Evenings were spent enjoying deliveries via the Glovo app, perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure. The Quinta itself is breathtaking – stunning grounds, incredible views, and beautiful architecture. It couldn't have been a more magical place to celebrate our elopement. Quinta da Bella Vista holds a very special place in our hearts, and we'll definitely be back for anniversaries and any other excuse we can find!

Words cannot do this place justice! We had an amazing stay at Maria’s beautiful home. The pool felt luxurious and was immaculately clean; garden was beautifully maintained and the studio was full of character. Maria is a very warm, friendly and responsive host. Really helpful and offered advice on lovely local walks and activities. The surroundings were peaceful and serene. The perfect relaxing getaway we had hoped for. We cannot recommend Maria enough!

We stayed at Julieta's home as 3 couples and enjoyed 3 nights in her beautiful home. The scenery and peacefulness were amazing. We did do day trips to Sintra & Lisbon but they were very long days. Julieta & her caretakers were very accommodating with our check-in & questions & needs. Would highly recommend.

I felt comfortable in this place. The grounds are directly adjacent to a small, beautiful forest with old trees and a special, quiet energy – a place to breathe and recharge. A big thank you to Rita, the dear neighbor, who showed us everything - I appreciated her warmth and the open nature of her little family. My little dog was also welcome everywhere and could move freely, which I was happy about. The residential area itself is not a classic travel destination, but a good starting point for excursions in the area – for me it was just right. For all those who arrive by car and are looking for a quiet place to sleep in nature, I can recommend this place from the heart.

We rented two flats from Manuel in Alfama and had an absolutely wonderful stay there. Manuel is the best host you can think of. He is very helpful, friendly, easy to reach and gave us lots of good recommendations to restaurants and interesting things to see, and his flats are just gorgeous. Perfectly situated, very well equipped, beautiful furnitures, lovely bathrooms and stunning terraces. It was also quite special to stay in a 600 years old house, with its thick walls, tiles decoration, beautiful entrance, floors and stairs. The thick walls kept the house cool and comfortable when hot outside. Alfama, with its narrow cobbled streets and lovely atmosphere, was a perfect place to stay for us and a great starting point for our walks around Lisbon. We went there with our closest family, including our two small grandchildren, and it worked great for all of us. After a long day out it was wonderful to relax and gather all of us on the terrace. We would love to come back and deeply recommend the place.

Benjamin was very helpful and friendly, he gave us amazing food basket when everything in whole portugal was closed and without electric. Also we loved the animals.

Gorgeous setting in the hills near Palmela. The house was very clean, spacious and had all the necessary amenities. The pool was well maintained and provided much needed refreshment. Last but not least, the hosts are lovely and very hospitable people who made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible.

It was a really great stay, what an sea of space in this villa. Too bad the weather was a bit off in the beginning, but that definitely got better later. Everything was present in the house. For convenience, a sign, for example, with the house number would be useful. By car we could easily go everywhere, plenty to do in the area. We really enjoyed it. See you next time! Ton en Titia

Raquel and her family were so accommodating with our check-in and so friendly. They gave us great advice on things to do in the area. The house is absolutely spectacular! It is even better than the pictures. The pool area is fantastic and our 3 kids loved it. We had everything we needed and more. The location is great and the local town is beautiful. Quinta do Penedo is a lovely place to stay, with a beautiful garden abd swimming pool. It’s peaceful and is a perfect place to have a relaxing holiday! We loved it and would go again- it’s close to some fabulous beaches near Setubal, and 20 mins from other beaches on the Costa da Caparica- Antonio and Fernanda are very discreet and very welcoming!
