Historical Vintage Villa Within a Mountain and Castle

Rediscover mid-century modern aesthetics at this vintage inspired home. The residence features warm woods, contrasting textures and motifs, light hues, a floating staircase, a minimalist interior design approach, and rooftop views from the balcony to the castle and mountains. Located in the old town, nearby the church of Saint John, you will find the area quiet and silent, all you need to spend some relaxing days. Casa do Adro offers all the amenities of a new modern house, but with the retro/vintage touch and comfort. On the ground floor we have a fully vintage style equipped kitchen with dish washer, laundry, living room and service toilet. There is a big table where 8 people can comfortably sit for dinner, and where we daily serve breakfast with Regional fruit, home made jams, juice and locally bread. The living room offers a nice flat TV and sofa. You can go through 100 international channels, or simply rest or read a book, inside or outside on the terrace. The first floor has two rooms, both with double bed. The bathroom is shared between the two rooms and each room offers air conditioning and splendid views over the mountains and the castle of Porto de Mós. Guests will have access to the whole house. I have limited availability, even though I am reachable 24 hours on the phone and email. Whenever I can, and if my guests feel like, I enjoy a good chat and get to know people. Sharing experiences makes part of the Airbnb concept. The Villa do Adro is located in the historical area of Porto de Mós village. Guests can easily walk to places of interest such as Porto de Mós Castle, the town hall square, and the Serra de Aire and Candeeiros Natural Parks with great trails, caves and views. Parking is always available by the house. The walk to the Village takes 5 mins, and from there you can take buses to the main attractions (Nazaré, Leiria, Fátima, Batalha, etc). We will get in touch with the guests to arrange the check in.

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis.The Perfect little getaway for 2 in a very comfy casita, that has been restored from an old animal stable. With your own outside space with table and incredible views of the beautiful valley. Lots of communal spaces, and a pool. The accommodation has a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker and kettle and guests are welcome to use the BBQ outside. Lots of peace and birds singing and you can take a walk just outside your door and check the Nabão river

The apartment is located 100m from the beach. Our apartment has a fully-equipped kitchen where you can prepare your meals during your stay. Dishwasher and laundry machine are also provided (as well as respective washing powders). Praia do Pedrógão is a fishermen village, fish can be bought directly from beach. Nearby beaches may be explored by bike using cycling routes (you can rent it at the bakery!) Pets are not allowed inside the apartment.

Most beautiful Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. Balcony view cannot be beat!!! My husband and I absolutely loved our stay. The place itself might be small for some people, but it was perfect for us. I could’ve sat on the balcony staring at the ocean all day.

I am very grateful, Sandra was very helpful and took me to the bus station. He showed me the easiest way to get to the center and the places I wanted to visit. Super friendly and amiable. This was by far the best AirBnb we‘ve ever stayed in. It‘s an absolute heaven and we would love to come back! The room is spotlessly clean and so cozy with lots of space and privacy. Breakfast is served by the pool and it’s absolutely delicious with juice from oranges farmed in the garden. On the first day, Marie served handmade Pana cotta and Canelés - so good! Marie and Fabrice are great hosts. Helpful, very friendly and always with a smile. We felt right at home. We also fell in love with Maurice and Lulu, the two cats. By car, the beach is 10 minutes away with good restaurants recommended by Fabrice. There are also several grocery stores in this area. But you will need a car! Marie and Fabrice - thank you so much for hosting us. We could feel the hard work and love you guys put into creating this paradise.

We had a fantastic stay in Diogo’s lovely little place. The house had everything we needed and was well located to explore several beaches and surrounding towns. It also has a friendly cafe/bar right outside in the village square as well as a bakery. Very quiet and private in the evening and a great courtyard out the back. Everything we needed & would happily recommend.
