We had a wonderful week in Thorvald's cabin, right on the fjord. Step out the front door in the morning and look at the sea, which was very nice. By boat we could go and fish on the fjord. We were able to use the large wooden terrace well and ate, played and read there. Also the cabin was very cozy and equipped with all the necessary things. We lacked nothing. The toilet may take some getting used to (flush toilet), for us it was no problem.

We had a nice stay. It was as expected after the description. Incredibly good service when we were wondering about things.

Beautiful house, cozy yet perfectly suited to accomodate our family of 4 with dog. Good beds, strong shower, well equiped kitchen. Because the terraces on both sides of the house, we could always find a nice place out of the wind / in the sun. The island is perfect for children with nice beaches and playgrounds on both sides. The views are spectaculair. Iren was a super responsive and kind host with many tips and support.

i felt very comfortable; everything is available. If you arrive publicly, you have to be aware of bus traffic; that only one runs once a day. Easy to do research thanks to great wifi. Shopping only possible in Vigeland.... was 2x, everything received. Thank you; also simple accommodations have their charm! I like homes with charm; like this. Believe it was pure Norway. 😃😃😃

Well equipped house and well cleaned when we arrived. We were a group of 9 and this was perfect considering the number of sleeping places.

Overall an awesome experience. Very special location by living on an island 3-4min away from the land in a very modern house. Jørgen is a great host and is very helpful. The communication was very easy and fast.

We had a wonderful long weekend in the beautiful holiday apartment! We were two families and 10 people, and had plenty of space. The apartment was very clean and nice, tastefully decorated and well equipped! We especially appreciated the access to the indoor pool and playgrounds just outside. Very nice host. I highly recommend the place!

The safest experience I've had in the context of renting a place to stay on a trip. Spacious, clean, and tidy vacation rental that matches the descriptions on the listing. Access to indoor pool, hot tub and sauna a stone's throw away from the unit. These amenities we got to take advantage of with no time restrictions. Very comfortable! Host Mergim, is by far one of the nicest I have met. Incredibly tidy, safe, helpful and flexible. Good communication as needed during the whole stay. Highly recommended for anyone who values a safe host on a par with accommodation. Mergim is top notch. 10/10 ⭐️

We had a lovely vacation at Ashild's home. Her husband had warmly welcomed us upon arrival and instructed us in all things. A boat can also be rented for the stay. Unfortunately, we weren't so lucky with the weather. Maybe next time. 😊 The house was well furnished and we lacked nothing. Overall, everything was great👍😊. A great place to not only get to know southern Norway, but to live. The apartment offers everything you need, is very clean and is quietly located on a headland. It is also barrier-free, which was one of the reasons I chose this specific apartment. You step out of the apartment, sit down on a white garden chair and look at the fjord. It's so quiet that I could hear a car door slamming on the other side of the shore. My daughter and her friend found their place down at the fjord. They were allowed to take chairs from our place and had a wonderful place for their conversations. The town of Mandal with its shops is not far, but it is recommended to have your own car or a bicycle (bikes and e-bikes can be rented in Mandal at Sport 1). Mandal is a small place that has one or two picturesque streets. But there are also supermarkets, restaurants and snacks there.

The small, cozy wooden house is located on a peninsula at the end of a gravel path in the middle of nature. From the terrace or from the living/dining room you can enjoy a fantastic panoramic view. View of the small, adjacent islands and rocky landscape from the Remesfjord. The house is practical, rustic, furnished, with everything you need for cooking. On the terrace, you will always find a sunny, wind-protected spot and every now and then a few sheep will pass by. ;) Berth for the motorboat (which you can rent) 50m in front of the house. Fantastic paddling area for kayaking and SUP. A sandy beach and swimming cove can be found just 400m behind the house. The contact with Ida was fast, nice and uncomplicated! 👍🏻

We had a really nice stay at Åse Kari's apartment. Everything was just great. Lots of nice hiking areas, walking distance to the city center. Outdoor hot tub... We enjoyed ourselves.

We stayed there for 3 nights and felt very much at home. The house is very comfortable and personally furnished. It is right on the lake with beautiful views and we were able to swim, boat trips, hiking, mushrooms and berries. The communication with Hilde was very friendly and positive. We highly recommend it and thank you for the nice time.

We stayed here for the 2nd time. We fell in love with both the cottage and the surrounding area. A wonderful place to relax. Beautiful bike sticks and opportunities for walks. Definitely recommend!!

This cottage is really beautiful. Great views, plenty of space and with your own boat you can explore the archipelago. We had a wonderful time Communication with Ove and Hilde was very smooth. Highly recommended!

Once you step into the home, it feels like you're home. Very cozy and tastefully furnished and wonderful beds. Beautiful location, very close to the sea and great views. Host is very helpful, responds very quickly. Nothing seems to be too much. Highly recommended!
