Great place, Great hosts

Robert was a welcoming host with home made biscuits and slices for us when we arrived. The house is large and well maintained and it has a good vibe. It was a pleasure to stay there and we’re very happy that we did. All in all, an excellent house to accommodate five people in comfort.

Debbie and Leighton's villa was simply incredible! The villa was a stones throw away from the main street of Robe, meaning everything was accessible by foot. We were able to taste local wines, enjoy the restaurants and see all the tourist/historical sites of Robe by walking. The home was spacious, absolutely spotless and had everything we needed for a little stay. An added bonus was access to the garage, as we were able to store our bikes, fishing rods and other things in there! We couldn't recommend this villa more highly, it was perfect! The location was definitely the highlight, there is nothing better than grabbing a morning coffee and walking down to the beach all within 200m of your accommodation. The villa has local brochures (food, wine, sites), simple guest information and everything else you need for your stay! We will be back for sure! A yearly trip here is definitely on the cards! Lovely place to stay, close to the town centre and everything else with the lake over road. The fresh bread when we arrived was a huge hit with everyone and the boys loved making fresh bread everyday. I think a bread maker is on the wish list now!

Well located in the middle of town (which was quiet so this was fine). We struggled to find a suitable accommodation in Penola or Coonawarra, so this is probably one of the best available. We had no hot water initially but this was resolved very quickly by Karly. We just took the Merlot side, with the mezzanine bedroom, which was HUGE and far bigger than our needs, but clean and spacious. The aircon/heating was a bit tricky to work out.

Warm and cozy, neat and tidy. Great communication with Frank. A great place to stay for 2 people for the weekend. Highly recommend! :)

Frank is an amazing host , the cottage was easy to find and conveniently located near the famous the barn steakhouse and the city of mount Gambier. 10/10 would recommend it!

We had such a fabulous stay at The Shelter B&B in Robe! Annie was a great host, the house was cozy, home-like, clean and a quick easy walk to the main street of Robe. We visited for Easter, which finds Robe bustling with people, but we didn’t hear a thing, other than the birds, it was so peaceful! We will be staying again for sure! Thanks Annie!

Ivy's cottage is in a very unique location, tucked away behind a flora and fauna reserve. We enjoyed strolling around the property, visiting the cows, chickens and ducks and saw heaps of kangaroos. We also liked the cosiness of an open fire one night. It felt like a real farm stay experience. The home-cooked bread, biscuits and jam were a treat.

We stayed at Back Vew ( love the name) - we loved the Back View and the tiny cabin had everything we needed and was warm thanks to the Split system. Lovely little town, splendid location, we really enjoyed our stay - thank you!

Lovely, welcoming and cosy accommodation! Conveniently located close to town but nice and quiet and close to many of the surrounding attractions of the area. Great, secure yard for our old pup to frolic and enjoy. Perfect for a relaxing country coastal getaway, Linda and Bryan provide a home away from home, and are fabulous hosts! Thank you so much for a wonderful weekend, we can't wait to return again soon in the near future!

Everything was as expected and despite the wet and cold weather we had cosy stay in Wilkin Cottage. We particularly enjoyed the quiet isolation in this very private bush setting. Sharon was a very friendly and helpful host.

Great place to stay with Pets. Enclosed backyard. We had a wonderful stay at Robe, being able to walk to the shops and restaurants. House was very comfortable and cozy.

We had a great stay — the place was exactly as described. We had 8 of us in town for a fishing charter, and the house was perfect for what we needed. It was clean, homely, and communication was easy throughout. The games room was definitely a highlight and provided plenty of entertainment. Would happily stay again!

Great place to stay. Enjoyed walking to the beach in front every day and a lovely 40 minute walk along the path or 5 minute drive into Robe Main Street. Home very well set up with kitchen supplies.

We stayed here for a night during our Adelaide to Melbourne road trip. The room was large and was easy to check in. Our experience was very pleasant. The place is very close to a lot of restaurants. Highly recommend this place.

This is our first stay at Paula's Place and it didn't disappointment us! Great Location and 15 min walk into town, with super fabulous restaurants. Loved the location as very quite and peaceful with a view out the back into some bushland. Not to mention the Stars at night, like chandeliers hanging from the sky. We had everything we needed for some cooking and lovely filtered and rain water. Thanks to Paula for the bubbles and great communication. A super comfy bed and Smart TV if people need their streaming. We we're also impressed with having a lock up garage for our car. It's a place we will definitely come back to next time in Robe. Thanks Paula for opening this house out to the general public.

We had a lovely stay at Wren Cottage. Mik is a very helpful and friendly host and the cabin was perfect and had everything we could possibly need! We hope to visit again.

This was a great place for our Easter getaway with the family. Anna was helpful and responsive and the home had everything we needed and was great value for our stay. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

David’s Nelson getaway, Tawarri, was absolute serenity. The ambience of the house was incredible—peaceful, welcoming, and beautifully set up. We didn’t need to bring a thing; everything we could have needed was provided. The property is literally a stone’s throw from the picturesque Glenelg River, making it a perfect base for nature lovers. If the weather’s good, there are endless walks in the national park, plenty of fishing opportunities, or you can simply light the fire and relax with a good book on the couch. David was incredibly courteous and helpful throughout our stay. We’ll definitely be back!

We stayed here whilst attending the Mt Gambier Show and found it exactly what we needed. It was extremely clean and modern inside, with an excellent floorplan and very well decked out kitchen with everything we needed. I'd highly recommed this place to others and will stay again.
