Family-friendly holiday rentals in Limburg

Liesbeth and Ge are very warm people. The accommodation is authentic and cozy. Very nice atmosphere in the middle of the hiking trails of t Geuldal. We have enjoyed together with our adult children. Bert & Linda

Good location of the house, everything can be reached quickly by car. The house is very nicely furnished and contains everything you need. The garden is very nice and good for relaxing with the hot tub. The communication with Shirley was always positive. Shirley is very welcoming.

The place is quite compact, but it has everything you need. Is well suited for a short trip and for relaxation.

Excellent guesthouse in a nice quiet location, near the Maas. There were several cottages on site. The house we rented had a private garden that was well screened. The courtyard was shared with everyone and there were some children's bikes. In the house itself, everything was very clean. There was plenty of space, plenty of equipment also in the kitchen. Too bad the piano didn't work (some keys broken and it was completely false!) In addition, it is also unfortunate that the hot tub in the garden is not included but that this is payable separately in cash.

Nice place, especially if the weather is right. Booking a hot tub is recommended, please note that the swimming pool opens from mid-May. Cottage is a bit noisy, something to take into account.

Absolutely fantastic place, very peaceful and quiet. I loved the surrounding, a combination of rural environment with hints of wild nature to it. Riet and her partner have created themselves a small piece of quiet, with the possibility to walk around their small pond, and they even created a small beach with an entrance to the pond.

The place is super nice and very well equipped. You could still move the HutTub outside for the ambience, but otherwise everything is very nice. Baarlo is certainly not Amsterdam, but you should not have the expectation when you book there. For our men's weekend, the house was so well equipped and provided so much space that we didn't miss any additional activities. We would come back.

Authentic farmhouse with a beautiful garden with various seating areas and a cabin for the later hours. BBQ, trampoline, hot tub (not used) and a campfire area. Ideal for friends and family weekend at the same time. Certainly not cheap, but if you make full use of it with 8 people then it is fair. In the wide area cycling along the Maas is a must. We made a Solex tour from Herpen (boerensolex) recommended by Tom. Golden tip. Furthermore, the Militraks museum visited a 35-minute drive away.

The owner of the house is amazing. I’m very happy that I had the chance to meet such a wonderful person by accident. And not only her, but also other family members – they are all great people. In some way, I’m even glad that some things happened so we could talk more and get to know each other better. The place is also cozy and nice. We got to enjoy the big yard and the animals during the day. Thank you.

Thorn and the Limburg area are very beautiful, whether cycling, walking or exploring by car. This property is an ideal location from which to visit the town and wider area. Steps and different levels within the property probably mean that it is not ideal for those with mobility problems but otherwise it is perfect.

A beautiful house with a lot of charm, the location is perfect & Thorn is a really very nice little town with nice restaurants, cafes and nice shops away from the chains. You can go for a wonderful walk, great surroundings, the dogs loved it, but it was very hot on our weekend. The house is cozy and beautifully furnished, we immediately felt very comfortable, the bed on the ground floor is very comfortable, but a little narrow/French. Everything is available to cook something, cutlery and dishes could be exchanged, partly with quirks and the fork and knife drawer could be thoroughly cleaned. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and had a few very nice days in this charming house. The communication with the landlords was very nice and friendly

Super nice stay. We felt right at home. Loet is a friendly and welcoming host. Tips for breakfast and dinner were perfect. Nearby and away from the hustle and bustle of the city center. Comfortable beds, shower and coffee!

Very nice contact! I am more than satisfied. You should only keep in mind that the accommodation is not directly in the city, but in a beautiful nature reserve with a lot of peace. If you want to go to the city, you can get there on foot in 25 minutes and in 10 minutes with the bicycles provided. Once again, a big thank you to the hosts. Regards, Dirk

Jan was the perfect host – incredibly friendly and helpful. Upon arrival, he immediately brought a go-kart and a ping pong table for the children, which was really appreciated. The house was sparkling clean and equipped with everything we needed. We greatly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

We had a very nice weekend! Maastricht is easily accessible by train. You are calm, tidy and everything was in order.

we were there over the weekend. we had the whole place to ourselves and it was very private. the rooms are clean, plenty of towels at our disposal and other necessary stuff are available. the swimming pool is amazing. big and also deep. we would've wished the pool was heated. a big thank you to the host, Marie Lou and her friend Anne Marie for being very responsive and answering all my questions and most importantly being very flexible! will definitely come back again to it and very recommended

We were able to spend a relaxed weekend there and reach Venlo quickly and easily at any time, whether by car or taxi.

This is a great place and a beautiful setting. We have just moved to the Netherlands from the US. From the local villages to the castles… Incredible way to introduce my wife and the kids to their new home.

Friendly! everything was tidy! Had phone contact in advance due to the closure of the reception in the after season... was all clear! Thinking along!

Nice and uncomplicated contact. Quick response to questions. No towels means that you also do not find towels in the toilet, we were not so aware of that and it happened for the first time after four trips to Holland. Not that anyone makes the same mistake as we do :). No soap was already something more surprising but a supermarket is nearby and you can quickly buy the missing things. Otherwise, clean apartment, nice sauna and garden. Beds a little flat and soft but on the whole the location is recommended. There is a lot to experience in the area, especially for children.
