Family-friendly holiday rentals in Lilyfield

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this property, which no photo does justice to just how stunning the view of the water is from not one but two decks. A two minute walk to wonderful shopping outlets, cafe’s, dog parks, gyms, salons, everything you need. The host is highly responsive, fair and accommodating. The quiet leafy neighbourhood filled with frangipani’s next to the water is beautiful, with a private area to have a sunny cool spa outdoors or a warm spa of an evening. The bbq placed right where you can see the water is a lovely touch for cooking outdoors with a view. I had everything I needed the moment I arrived which makes life so much easier. I can’t thank the host enough for my stay. This place is truly a gem. Thank you so much!

Incredible spot. We watched the dolphins leaping from the waves and couldn't have asked for more. We'll be back in whale season! Great setup. Highly recommended. Richard and Beck were great hosts. Really responsive and helpful. Avalon town is a great spot too. Lots of good places to eat and get coffee. minor notes: the path down to the rockpools is a little more advanced than anticipated. We turned back with our three year old. if you're napping kids in the middle of the day the blinds don't block much light coming in.

Great location just off the Corso, super accessible to Manly beach and the ferry to Circular Quay. Kirsti was a super host, always accessible and responsive and helpful. Would definitely return, enjoyed my stay. Also loved the A/C, needed in view of the late summer weather.

Coco’s place was perfect, great location and everything we needed for a Sydney city stay. The apartment has everything we needed which made or stay super easy. Coco met us and checked us in and is a fantastic host.

Walking distance to everything Darling harbour has to offer! great coffee from the motel Cafe across the street. Pyrmont bridge hotel for beers and happy hour. Coles, restaurants, aquarium, lyric theatre, Crown etc etc, we walked to Queen Vic building and Pitt st mall easily. Balcony great for fireworks and view from the roof pool was awesome. There are 2 new harbourside apartment complexes under construction that will impact the view eventually from this 3rd floor unit but I think a decent harbour view will still be available - we experienced no noise from construction. Unit was neat and clean, could do with a few updates/improvements which i have emailed. The host was responsive and friendly. queen bed was comfy and plenty of pillows blankets etc. All up a great place in the perfect spot for us. Would happily rebook.

We absolutely loved our long weekend at the barn in Windsor! It's such a quaint little town, and the barn was the perfect hideaway for relaxing and reading. We especially enjoyed the ready-to-use sauna and spa. The beds were comfy - though those steep stairs were quite the workout! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily come back.

We stayed at Mercedes’ place for a week and had a fabulous time. Spacious and airy, perfectly clean with all mod cons. In particular, I loved the barbecuing station in the verdant garden. It’s in a great location - quiet but five minutes from the beach and bars, cafés, shops etc. Mercedes was super friendly and quick to respond to any queries etc. She left the flat full with everything you’d need on arrival - fruit, snacks, towels etc. - and all you’d need for a longer stay - washing powder, fairy liquid, olive oil, spices etc. In short, we had a great stay!

We stayed here in this unspoilt part of paradise for 4 nights and everything that we experienced from location, weather and amenities of the home were beyond our expectations and made our time here very memorable. Highly recommend Anne's place for a very relaxing and peaceful time away. Thank you Anne for your communication before, during and after our stay.

Beautiful location and particularly impressed how well equipped the place was. Had everything you’d need! Everything from insect repellent to clips to reseal open packets. It made my stay so easy and comfortable!

We LOVED our stay - the house is perfect. One side of the house is the hosts and the other side is the AirBnB with music studio sound proofing between! Very spacious one-bedroom, fully equipped kitchenette, Faen & JP had fruit, milk, butter, fresh bread and treats for our two Labradors for our arrival and other goodies to use. Very comfortable bed, lovely linen and amenities. The house also has a gorgeous verandah overlooking the park. Its very private but just a walk to an array of restaurants, supermarkets etc. and an amazing coffee shop with an awesome breakfast is a 2-minute walk around the corner. There is plenty of street parking and public transport a short walk away. The house is also fully fenced for the fur babies. Faen and JP were an absolute delight to deal with, could not have done more to make us feel more welcome and at home. Will definitely come and stay again.

We stayed for around 28 days at Catherine’s place, and it had everything we needed for that length of stay with our young baby, including a bassinet, which was a real lifesaver. The street parking was a bit interesting and was the only minor inconvenience during our stay (to be expected when the place is so centrally located). There is plenty of timed parking, but kind of a lucky dip/stake out exercise to get a spot in the untimed/free all day parking in the street. We always managed to get a spot eventually though when we kept an eye on the street for vacancies! It would have really elevated our stay had there been a visitor’s permit available at the property for the timed spaces.

Absolutely wonderful stay! The space was immaculate, comfortable, and perfectly located. Danny was welcoming and very responsive. Highly recommend! Will gladly stay again when back in the area!

My son lives in Mascot so I wanted somewhere close to him which was also pet friendly, clean, comfortable and walking distance to coffee etc and also Sydney Park which I had read was great for off leash walks. Everything met my expectations. A lovely home away from home. Everything we could need.

Loved our stay here! The house was welcoming, lots of natural light, well equipped and nice and clean. Great modern bathroom. The street is nice and quiet and it was always pretty easy to find a car park nearby if not right out the front. Only a few minutes walk to the main streets and close to Woolworths and some good cafes. Our kids loved the park right across the street. Roslyn was a great host, she gave clear instructions and was very responsive.

Place was great and Victoria was really helpful!! We had such a great time and it was really clean also. Not anyone’s fault but worth noting that you’re unable to leave your bags the next day if you’re leaving Syd after your check out time.

We have stayed with Genie often while visiting family nearby. We enjoying catching the bus at the end of the street and making our way to the station to catch the train to the city. There are parks and walks nearby, and we regularly walk to a cafe in Asquith for coffee. Genie's place is roomy and private, with everything we need for our stay. We particularly appreciate the washing machine and drying space.

Highly recommend this place for anyone staying in Manly, really central location close to beach, shops, restaurants and the ferry terminal

We had a lovely time at Rod and Lynsey’s place. All of the needs for young families was very well thought out from night lights to access to a huge trampoline and simple things like washing machine detergent and milk for breakfast after a late night arrival. They also offered tips to travel more easily into Sydney city and there bar area was a fun and relaxing retreat for parents. Thanks very much, we look forward to visiting at the same time next year!

This accommodation was perfect for what we needed it for. It didn’t quite match the pictures in terms of furniture etc but that didn’t put us off at all. John and his family were helpful and accommodating. Even letting us use their dryer when it rained. It was simply a base for us and the pool was an added bonus. It was a lot cheaper than other accommodation nearby which sold it to us and I am glad that it did. I think we will definitely be booking to stay here again in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ollie’s place! It’s in a super fun area that has lots to do nearby and is very walkable. Ollie is really easy to communicate with and definitely puts a lot of personal touches in his space that make you feel right at home!

Gary was a responsive host. The apartment was bigger than it looked in the photos, which was a nice suprise. We are on a four week trip around Eastern Australia, and free use of the washing machine was a great bonus.
