Cottage holiday rentals in Ligurian Sea

We had a fantastic stay in the cottage for nine nights. Villa Alta is in a beautiful location and the grounds around the house are so well maintained. We enjoyed both the shared pool and our own private terrace with hot tub. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean and perfect for our needs. It was a perfect base for us to explore the area. Raffaella was so friendly and accommodating and we enjoyed both dinner and breakfast at the villa on a couple of occasions. We would highly recommend a stay here.

!!! Hidden jewel of Tuscany !!! My girlfriend and I had one of the best holidays ever in this wonderful place away from the tourist strongholds. We were received in person by the host family upon our arrival. Just for your information: Molly herself is only a kind of agency from the UK with whom you have contact before arrival. On site, we were in contact with the host family and were welcomed by them very warmly. For the perfect start to our holiday, we were given a homemade antipasto plate, fresh fruit, a cake and a bottle of wine. When we got a detailed tour of the property, we could no longer come out of the light. Everything was just incredibly beautiful and prepared for us with so much love for detail. Starting with the pool area, which is equipped with the most seating, lying and chill facilities. Of course, the fire bowl should not be forgotten, which is just perfect for a cozy and romantic evening. In addition, there is the breathtaking view over Castiglione di Garfagnana and the associated nature. For us personally, the pizza oven and the associated barbecue station were an absolute highlight. The house has everything you need. It is super clean, well equipped (especially the kitchen) , the bed is really comfortable and again we would like to really highlight the attention to detail in all rooms. In addition, the surroundings are beautiful, you can just love the small villages, the mountains and nature. A perfect place to just unwind and enjoy the tranquility. In the end, it is only to say that we are incredibly happy to have discovered this place, a week there was far too short and we can recommend this accommodation with full conviction. My husband and I just returned from a week visit at Delphine and Chris' place. We absolutely loved it. I think this is one the nicest vacation rentals we have ever booked. The apartment is adorable and has everything you could need. This includes pool towels, robes and kitchen condiments like homemade olive oil. The garden is beautiful complete with a pool and jacuzzi. The hosts are amazing and invited us twice for drinks and snacks. They gave us daily weather updates and suggestions for day trips and restaurants. It is a lovely place to vacation and I would not hesitate to return.

Sara and Brian are truly amazing hosts—proactive, kind, and fascinating to talk to. Their home is enchanting, like stepping into a real fairytale. You can feel how much love and care they’ve poured into every detail. It’s one of the most spectacular places we’ve ever stayed in! Not only is the house and the garden magical, but it’s also so practical and thoughtfully equipped, providing everything you could think of to make your stay comfortable. The gym was fantastic, and the house had plenty of space for two families. Even with 2 adults and 4 “monkeys” (our energetic kids), there was room for everyone to relax and enjoy. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and celebrating New Year’s Eve with fireworks lighting up the entire region was an unforgettable experience. The place is located on top of the hill. It has been a pleasure to stay for a few nights at Federico's place. He has been really helpful when we asked questions, to find the place etc. It is a lovely family house. We did not test the jaccuzi because off season but I guess on sunny days it must be amazing. The view from the house is stunning.

Fantastic old farmhouse surrounded by nature. Exposed beams and stone floors. We went in 10 to celebrate a 30th and had a great weekend. The road, even if dirt, is absolutely walkable with common cars, just go slowly Chiara, lives in an annex adjacent to the farmhouse but she is an absolutely welcoming and discreet person

I experienced wonderful days in this beautiful location, which reminded me of the summers I used to spend at my grandparents' house in the countryside. I only realized coming here how much I need to be able to completely switch off and let time just pass enjoying the fantastic views of the Alpi Apuane. That's how I chose to spend my days, but I note that there would be plenty of hiking or driving around to visit the picturesque villages nearby should one wish to explore the surroundings. The facilities were exactly what is required for a few day stay. The hosts (Laura and Silvio) were present when needed, otherwise they left us to enjoy the place. I enjoyed my conversations with them, and loved their pets. About the place itself, it was as described in the listing, and by previous reviews. I just note that in spite of the extreme heat (it is an anomalous year also in this idyllic place), the evenings were fresh and cool, and the temperature inside the cottage was perfect.

Pleasant and quiet accommodation in the countryside. Severine was very available and responsive in exchanges, very pleasant. The description is consistent with the property.

Our stay with Fulvio and Ornella in their beautiful house in Moano was simply unforgettable! The lovingly furnished family home exudes a very special charm. Each room is equipped with a lot of heart and numerous family-related items that give the house a warm and inviting atmosphere. We were particularly impressed by the great outdoor kitchen with pizza oven, which is perfect for sociable evenings outdoors. The well-kept garden with the small pool offers a wonderful oasis of calm. With three cozy bedrooms, we had plenty of space, and the parking right in front of the house in the small village was very convenient. In just 30 minutes you can reach the coast and the harbor of Imperia – perfect for day trips to the sea or the surrounding area. Really a very special place to feel good!

We had a lovely stay with friends (with teenagers) at Alberto's. The house is itself synonymous with vacation. The splendid view, the ideal location for visiting the 5 lands. We will keep a great memory of the breakfasts on the terrace at the end of October🤩

We were very pleased with the house and the location. Arrived very late and were able to check in flexibly with the lockbox. The apartment to you was clean and in the kitchen you could find everything you needed. Alessandro was a good host. He responded to us very quickly and answered all questions. We will definitely be back!!!

Everything was perfect! We had a great time at Elisa's. The house matched the description and had everything we needed. Having a 1 and a half year old child, she provided us with everything we needed for him, a cot and a high chair. Our son was free to roam without problems and obstacles. We felt right at home. The sea is just a short walk away. The area is very quiet, with maximum privacy and internal parking (perfect for unloading luggage with ease). There are all the necessary amenities nearby. Elisa is always available to answer all questions with suggestions. We will definitely be back ❤️

The Cince will always remain in our hearts, the photos and description do not do justice to the atmosphere. Cristina is very kind and it is impossible not to fall in love with all the animals among geese, dogs, cats and chickens that entertain you at all times. The view, the silence and the landscapes are the icing on the cake. Don't make too many plans if you plan to come here: spending all the time from morning to night 3 days in a row there wasn't enough. We'll definitely be back!

We felt totally comfortable, the house is very nice and spacious. Our dog was also very happy about the large garden and we had great days by the pool. Ilaria is super friendly, helpful and always quick to reach. We will be happy to come back! 😊

Absolutely stunning, authentically Italian cottage in the mountains of Tuscany. Rosella was a fantastic and welcoming host. A great spot for exploring Tuscany. The only drawback was the very steep hill - pack your trainers/ walking shoes.

Authentic Italian residence in the hills of Tuscany. Fivizzano is within driving distance, where you will find nice cafes and restaurants. There is also a small supermarket with a wide range of regional products and high quality fruit and vegetables. The swimming pool was wonderful and already good in terms of temperature at the beginning of June. Communication with the host was great, very friendly and helpful. A car is a must.

We had a wonderful stay at Elisa’s cottage. It is set on the hillside just 15 mins walk into Santa Margarita coast and main town. It is so peaceful and we enjoyed sitting looking out over the hills having breakfast, which Elisa kindly brought to us every day. We made good use of the beautiful pool area and it’s a great location to visit Portofino, the Cinque Terre and other towns along the coast. We were sad to leave and would 100% recommend Elisa and Matteo’s cottage. Thank you for a great stay xx

Communication with Daria was very easy and Corrado welcomed us very warmly. The cottage is very clean, comfortable and ideal for 2 people. We enjoyed the garden in the shade of the olive trees, offering a panoramic view of the neighboring villages. There are many hikes and walks in the surrounding area. This time, from Lucinasco, we joined the Chiesa di Santa Maria Maddalena and discovered the casella di Don Abbo. We had a very pleasant stay in Ville San Pietro. Thank you, Daria and Corrado!

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage – everything was very clean and cozy, and Marco and Max were super friendly and helpful. The location is peaceful and perfect for relaxing. We’d love to come back someday!

The place was as described, a beautiful, quiet building. The area is indescribably beautiful and we have rarely found such a place. Marcella was likeable and friendly. We had a great time here. The equipment was spotless.
