In the center of a large lawn at the edge of the woods, our house, an ancient chestnut dryer, was renovated in 2022 with local materials such as Langa stone and chestnut, integrating modern technologies, air conditioning, charging for electric cars and a gazebo where you can relax outdoors. Nearby there are beautiful trails to Mountain Bike and Trekking, while in half anhour by car you can reach the Ligurian Sea and the Langhe, with their famous landscapes, wines, and cuisine.

The nest

Formerly called Arbec, our small stone shepherd's cabin was used as a kitchen and dining room. It was where milk was turned into cheese and bush, where the family gathered for the evening vigil with the neighbours , and where social life was forged. Tools,seeds, crops , were also stored in the tree. The stones of this small building are full of history and the thickness of its walls offers a feeling of protection, peace, conducive to rest.

Our hermitage is wrapped in bands, slowly restarted to agriculture because here the nature is a master. This home is our attempt to learn from the nature how to feed our lives with the energy that is there (nature knows how to do it very well).
