Everything is taken care of in detail and you can see the care with which it is designed to make guests feel at home. The surroundings are even more special: a charming town of Cantabria, with an idyllic landscape that invites you to disconnect, breathe pure air and enjoy the silence. We also want to highlight David, the host, for his closeness, kindness and availability at all times. It is very much appreciated to find people like that when you travel. It's been a wonderful stay. 12 of us stayed with Mari Luz and had a great time. Everyone was comfortable and felt at home for the 4 nights we were there. At first I was worried that we might disturb Mari Luz but we didn't receive any complaints despite 1 or 2 late nights drinking around the dinner table. Also I'm extremely glad we stayed in Castro Urdiales instead of Bilbao since Castro was a much more relaxing and hospitable place and Bilbao was only a 30 min bus away anyway.

we had a great holiday at the house. The photos don't show enough how big and beautiful the garden is. Also the house is more spacious than we expected in the pictures. Received by Lucia upon arrival. Being able to communicate in English. (I don't speak Spanish). There was also a delicious local delicacy ready for us. Very attending. The house was sparkling clean. And more spacious than I expected. The garden is large and fully fenced so our dog could walk loose. There was space for sun and shade. From the covered porch we had mountain views. The pool was lovely as well. We were able to swim in it on hot days. It is large enough for a family of 4. The peace, the silence. Only sounds of the countryside. Cows, dogs, birds, toads. Very restful. And last but not least, the area. Really beautiful. What a beautiful region. Lucia thank you!

We had a great stay, the house was very clean and Jose was such a lovely guy. He was always contactable. He gave us lots of recommendations on things to do and places to visit which we did and throughly enjoyed them all. The pool was beautiful and our kids really enjoyed it. Check in and out was flexible which was excellent.

Perfect hosts. Thoughtful and very pleasant. Perfect communication. You can't ask for much more from the house, it has everything to make you feel at home. We'll be back for sure just to give them a little trouble. Haha. It was a pleasure. Thanks for everything.

If you are looking for a quiet, historical, peaceful experience in northern Spain, this is it. The stone house is modernized and comfortable with three bedrooms and two and a half baths. The kitchen is excellent and it was wonderful to have an outdoor space to eat and lounge and enjoy the setting. We stayed five days and there are endless day trips to take to nearby towns, beaches, mountains, markets and restaurants. Diego was a fantastic host and Marta opened the house for us. Both responded immediately to any of our needs. We loved it.

A warm Spanish welcome with a welcome gift. Spacious structure in a very quiet area, a car is essential. Bathrooms with windows and equipped kitchen. In the garden, there is a lemon tree and an orange tree with fresh fruit available. The only drawback is the French bed, but otherwise everything is fine. Thanks to Marcelino who, living in front, has always been available for any request. Recommended accommodation for those looking for relaxation

Charming, cozy, very clean house with everything you need for everyday life, incredible views, perfect for disconnecting and sharing with family and friends! We were with my dog and he had a lot of fun in the garden and the beach! We'll definitely be back because it was great!

We were able to spend some great days in Cantabria. The house was right in the area we wanted to visit. It was nice to arrive and be able to rest with a drink in the garden. It's a very quiet neighborhood that allows you to relax. Lara was lovely, giving us information that was great for making our vacation perfect! She was attentive to everything we could possibly need. The area around the property is very tranquil and quiet. Easy to find and only a short walk from several restaurants plus it is easy to catch the ferry across to Santander. We were a party of eight adults and the property had plenty of room for all of us plus in benefits from four bathrooms too. The living room was also very spacious and had a large dining table with ample room for us all to sit comfortably to eat. The garden was an added bonus and we made full use of this area.

A wonderful old cottage on the edge of Arredondo, lovingly renovated. You have a wonderful view of the mountains when they are free of clouds or simply watch the clouds play on the mountain peaks. The covered terrace is ideal for an outdoor breakfast or dinner. We used it every day of the week to simply enjoy the view. The property is clean and well maintained. Since it is on a slope, you have to climb the mountain a bit. But certainly not a problem for hikers. A stream, the Ason, ripples below the property. Tall trees around the property, but they don't interfere. A very nice place to stay for 4 people. We would love to come again. Unfortunately, there are too many beautiful places waiting for us. The arrival and reception was very pleasant and welcoming, the guests were a charm, we felt right at home, the views are unbeatable, and the house super cozy.

We spent a weekend with friends at Carmen's house. We were very comfortable. The house is wonderful in terms of space, comfort, services and a step away from downtown. Communication with Carmen was great from the start, making it easy for us to check in and out. I highly recommend this accommodation. And it's amazing to go with kids too! They have a trampoline, a playroom... everything taken care of in detail!

The place, for a family with two children is fabulous. The views are incredible, and the urbanization is quiet and charming. From the terrace you can see the University of Comillas or Oyambre beach. You are next to the sequoias park and the A8 so you can move to other areas. The place is decorated simple, very comfortable and pleasant. Very well equipped. It's a place to repeat!
