Note: Not suitable if you are having trouble climbing stairs/path.

It is also possible to take the express boat that stops just down by the quay (3 min walk) and takes 35 minutes to Bergen city center. In front of the house is Galleri Solbakkestova with its associated sculpture garden which is always open to the general public. Around the house, goats graze, and you overlook some free range hens, and some alpacas across the road. The house has terraces on both sides, where it is lovely to sit and take in the surroundings and feel the tranquility. There are also great hiking trails close by.
