Holiday rentals with beach access in Lexington Township

This is the favorite AirBnB we've stayed at, extremely comfortable, thoughtfully and carefully organized, and very clean. That's why we've returned for a second time this year!

From the moment I messaged Louise she was very open,honest and kind. Super easy to get a hold of and responded quickly. Answering anything I asked. The home is gorgeous. I cant even begin to tell you how beautiful it really is. Every minor detail, decor piece and little detail is so well put together, homey and thoughtful. The house has a welcoming feeling about it to the point where youre so calm and at peace. That doesnt come easy. The rooms are spacious, and lots of storage if you need it. Bedding and beds are wonderful. The bathroom is also super amazing with a double sink for getting ready. The yard is stunning and well maintained, you can tell she takes great pride in every aspect of their home. It was a dream to stay here and I can not recommend it enough!! If you have the chance, please go stay here.

Spend the weekend here with friends and from the beginning Christopher was an amazing host and him and his dog greeted us with a very positive welcoming. Our weekend was very fun in Port Frank's with the amusing scenery and private beach which made our time even more enjoyable. Christopher was so helpful with telling us where to go to eat and where to get groceries around there. Whenever we had questions Christopher was right there to help out and provide us with what is needed. Overall would recommend this place as everything about it made mine and my friends trip so much better!

This is a basement apartment Airbnb, which I usually try to avoid, as we have experienced a basement Airbnb where we could hear every word the owners above us were saying. But this basement Airbnb we could not hear anything above us, so it was private. There is a soaking tub/shower with a rain shower shower head. The tub/shower, being a soaking tub, is high to get in and out of. But it has excellent water pressure. The bathroom is not right next to the bedrooms. We always bring our own nightlights in case this is the case. So, with the tall tub and bathroom not near the main bedroom, I am not sure I would recommend it for older people such as ourselves, but for a younger person, it would be perfect.

My hubby and I wanted to get away for a couple nights because it was our anniversary and this place did not disappoint. It was quiet, clean, close to a couple towns for shopping, close restaurants that were excellent service and delicious food as well as a river that was <5 minute walk that you could watch the sunset at. We would definitely go again. Hosts were great and very easy to contact.

If cleanliness is next to godliness, this place is a sanctuary. Sparkling clean from top to bottom—and trust me, I looked! The 3 bedrooms were comfy and perfectly set up for relaxation. The location? A stone’s throw from the beach (or a very ambitious frisbee toss). The kitchen was so fully stocked I half expected Gordon Ramsay to pop out of the pantry. Decor-wise, it’s like Pinterest and a beach cottage had a beautiful, well-curated baby. And the host? A+ communication, super friendly, and genuinely thoughtful—basically the Airbnb version of a unicorn. Would absolutely stay here again (and probably brag about it too).

Beautiful place in the heart of the charming town of Lexington. The beach and harbor are within walking distance as are shops and restaurants. Suite is above a theater so if there's a show going on, you will hear everything but show usually wraps up by 10 pm.

The Hen House is the perfect place to host family or friends for a little getaway. When I arrived, the space was even better than the photos and very spacious. The location is right in downtown Lexington with lots to do, including restaurants with live music, the beach, coffee shops, bars, and cute shops selling local goods/crafts. There are a couple things that did bum me out, including a few outlets not working in the bathrooms, and the parkinglot not being cleared from snow— stairs VERY slippery— but those are not simple fixes for some airbnb hosts and I get it!! There was a shovel and ice salt supplied 👌🏻 Everything else was perfect and more than enough for what we were looking for.

Usually we get to an Air Bnb and it is NOT like the pictures. This place WAS and it was so much more comfortable than our usual stays. Felt more like a home and less like a temporary space.

Shay was so welcoming to our group. She provided clear check-in instructions and what to expect prior to leaving. She was very responsive to messages and was very so helpful. The house itself was great and accommodating our large group. The back deck was wonderful to hang out on during the day and the bonfire closer to the water in the evening.

We rode our motorcycles from Ottawa to David's Brights Grove cottage and when we arrived, he had a nice cold one in the fridge for our arrival and fresh farm eggs (we didn't cook unfortunately). The cottage is sooo close to a beautiful blue water beach yet is far enough away, tucked in to the cutest and quietest little neighborhood you've ever seen. The cottage has a lovely, very private patio, all surrounded by plants and flowers and the trees keep it all wonderfully shaded. Also a nice outdoor fireplace and one indoors too. David stopped by on Sunday morning and told us to take our time checking out, chatted about the area with my partner (who grew up in that area 50/60 years ago), and took some pics of our motorcycles. What a fantastic person, we didn't meet Juli but hopefully in the future. Thank you David and Juli. We'll be spreading the word through the biker community to definitely check you out. Cheers. Kim was very accommodating, great to work with. The location is amazing, I felt right at home. Easy check in and great price. Would recommend to anyone!

We have stayed hear for a week-long stay for three years in a row now. The hosts are very responsive and helpful. The communication was great, and the location makes it easy to walk anywhere downtown. We really enjoyed the private yard on the riverside, and the easy access to the small parks nearby make it a great place to keep the kids active and entertained!

Jana’s place was perfect for a cozy girls getaway, it’s at the end of a short road where we could walk to the beach. Too bad the weather was cold, we talked about staying in and drinking wine with the fireplace on. We all had trouble figuring it out, but Jana immediately responded with updated instructions and was even ready to send her daughter out to help us within 1/2 hour. We went out in downtown Saturday night and there was so much to do. Great food, live music and so so so many friendly people. It was about a 8-10 minute drive to town so we quickly went back and did more shopping before leaving Lexington on Sunday. We LOVED Jana’s beach house and hope to stay there again.

Great Beach House! My family and I stayed here for 4 nights. The surroundings are beautiful. We watched the sunrise over the lake every morning and enjoyed the patio and fire pit each evening. We enjoyed the early morning wildlife-bald eagle, deer in the lake, a multitude of different birds, and enjoyed watching and looking up thw freighters as they passed. The lake was supeisingly warm even when thw temperature outside was only in the 60's. Definitely bring water shoes! Port Austin was a short drive North where they hold an amazing Farmer's market on Saturday.

My family and I had a great stay at this location! The house was immaculate and spacious as described in the listing. They had a reference book nicely prepared with local recommendations and rules well written. The kitchens and bathrooms were well stocked with everything needed. There was also a gas grill and extra propane provided with lots of outdoor seating. We had a great time walking the beach and relaxing. A highlight was watching the freighters and boats pass by (which the owners had left binoculars for). We ventured up to the fishing dock in town to see the light house (great beach available there for swimming), farmers market in Port Austin was a short half hour drive, and Pointe aux Barques Maritime Museum and lighthouse. Many small town ice cream shops in the area as well. We would love a return trip to relax and would definitely recommend this listing for a low key relaxing vacation.
