Antique furnishings perfectly complement the historic architecture. The house is on 3 floors so a fair bit of walking up and down stairs is required. You will appreciate the elevated view of Lake Maggiore, the garden, the cozy atmosphere, the silence and comfort. It consists of a living room with a sofa, dining table and fireplace. In front is the bright veranda facing the lake. The kitchenette is equipped with everything you need. The bathroom has a shower and a bathtub. It is accessed from the common entrance of our home, the apartment is downstairs and is independent. Great for couples. IT IS RECOMMENDED TO HAVE A CAR.

We were almost an hour early to check in and expected to have to wait but Antonello's son, Alberto, was there and helped us by carrying our heavy luggage from the car. During our stay we inadvertently breached a supermarket's parking rules but Antonello sorted out the problem for us. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to stay there again. So peaceful and the views are to die for!

The property is in a very convenient location and 10 minutes from Stresa, away from city traffic. Easy and clear check-in. Everything is clean and compliant with the photos. The only downside, it was very humid, so I recommend bringing heavy clothes.

Really nice accommodation and lovely home for a few days. Amazing views and an easy drive to Stresa and other areas and viewpoints around Maggiore. Cristina gave us really clear instructions and there were lots of local activities maps inside the home. The home is lovely - we stayed in a group of 6 and there were lots of amenities for cooking in and relaxation space both inside and outside. I would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed the place very much! The terrace with great views and the well-equipped kitchen were particularly nice. The bathroom was also clean. Communication with the host was quick and friendly, the caretaker on site was very helpful. The front door was easy to open with a code. Once we had ants in the apartment, but after a short message we immediately got a spray - then everything was fine again. There were two small bloodstains on the ceiling, which was a bit unpleasant, but otherwise everything was clean. The entrance to the house is a bit narrow and therefore a bit difficult to drive, but feasible. Overall a good stay with small compromises.

There is a view of the lake and islands from all the windows and balcony. Outstanding! To be able to park the car was very convenient. Katia and her mother were very responsive when we needed assistance. I highly recommend and would return again.

The house is wonderful. The views of the lake are exactly those shown on the website Weather too cool to use the pool, but it was very clean and inviting. You will need a car, but roads are well marked and Stressa is about a 10 minute drive. There were six of us in our party with plenty of room for everyone. All of the bedrooms has their own bathrooms with an extra bathroom on the ground floor. We have rented many properties, but this one is among the best!!! We will be recommending it to anyone who asks where they should stay in the area The owner also has a winery about 30 min away and well worth the drive
