Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Leslieville, Old Toronto

One of the best Airbnb stays I’ve ever had—if not the best. If I could give 10 stars, I would. This stay was pure magic. Immaculate, modern, and full of charm—every detail was thoughtful, every corner spotless. The shower felt like a 5-star spa, and the backyard, surrounded by trees, was peaceful, serene, and grounding. Just 10 min walk or 5 min jog to the beach, and walking distance to amazing cafés, restaurants, and downtown. But what truly made this special were the hosts, Ann and Ciara. I sat outside and chatted with Ann—she’s the kind of person who instantly makes you feel welcome. Warm, down-to-earth, and genuinely lovely. With everything going on in the world, this place was a breath of fresh air. A real community, kids playing, neighbors chatting—it felt like a scene out of a Hallmark movie. No hotel can touch this. I left feeling lighter, restored, and already planning to return. If you’re lucky enough to see it available, don’t hesitate. This is the spot.

The accommodation was impeccable and fully functional. Beini was an incredibly responsive and helpful host, providing all the necessary information and advice ahead of our stay. The location is excellent, in a quiet and peaceful environment. Although we came for a business trip, the place would be perfect for a large family as well, thanks to its four spacious bedrooms. I highly recommend this property offered by Beini!

My partner and I both agreed this is one of the best if not THE best airbnb we have ever stayed in, in terms of comfort, luxury, design, location, and esp now that we have young children, safety and thoughtfulness for kids. Somehow Alex manages to keep a beautiful place that is at the same time kid-friendly. Beautiful tree-lined streets and one block away from great coffee and restaurants. We adored our stay and Alex was so friendly and responsive. When we are back in Toronto, will book with her again :)

It was a good stay for the price. The host lives upstairs, they were respectful and very quite during night time. Don’t try to open the windows or the curtains using the strings, they are difficult to operate. The local is air conditionned.

Ana is a great host and was caring and responsive. I stayed there a couple of months and felt at home. It was really great to have a private unit all to myself and for relatively reasonable price. The location is very convenient, with public transit, grocery stores, libraries, and lots of other stores very close by. The unit is quite spacious. The kitchen is probably more suitable for light cooking or heating of food, and there’s not a ton of refrigerator space. My only discomfort during my stay was that when the weather was very cold, the heat in the room was very warm, especially at night. But it made the laundry dry quickly, which was good. All in all, I’m glad I found this place and I really enjoyed my stay.

We loved our stay. We were visiting our family and grandchildren and it was conveniently situated and a very bright, spacious and comfortable bungalow with open plan layout of dining kitchen and lounge, overlooking the creek and on an attractive quiet tree lined street. Very comfy beds and sofas and well equipped, and accurately described. There was lots of storage. off road parking space very handy for family visits. Very responsive, and helpful host. Great access to Danforth and shops and the metro, and the beaches, via a frequent bus service, and trams into town. Would definitely stay here again.

Great house in a nice neighborhood, easy access and in walking distance to all amenities. You can walk to downtown if you choose, or get onto the streetcar at the end of the street. Wonderful to have an entire house with private yard to relax and feel at home. Reasonable street parking but very handy to have a locking garge to park the vehicle and not have to worry about anything.

Beautiful,safe and very clean. It was the perfect space to enjoy on our holiday to Toronto. The area was so close to the beach, restaurants, shopping and public transportation. We couldn’t have asked for more. So appreciative to our host and her kindness.

I loved my experience here! I was here for the Toronto Eras Tour by Taylor Swift and was very happy to find a reasonably priced, adorable AirBNB in a very convenient location. The public transport was outside the front door as well as shops and restaurants, but the nighttime was quiet and peaceful. I felt perfectly safe being out at night even as a solo female traveler. My host was so responsive and made sure my experience was as smooth as could be which I’m incredibly grateful for. I will absolutely be staying again when I visit Toronto and highly recommend to anyone else wanting to visit this amazing city!

Just what we needed for our quick trip to the Toronto area. Transit was readily available via bus. The space was comfy, cozy, and clean! Trains pass by fairly closely but we didn't find that it was too loud. There are also grocery stores and food options nearby, within walking distance in case you forgot something for your trip or need to grab a bite. Overall, great stay and very happy with choosing this listing!

The location was great, with plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Check-in was easy, and the host was responsive. Also, not a complaint, but the radiator heat definitely works! We had a fantastic stay in Leslieville! Matthew and Shavonne are outstanding hosts – very responsive and helpful. Their instructions were super clear, and check-in went smoothly without any issues. The loft itself is stunning – located in a beautifully restored heritage factory building that perfectly captures the charm of industrial style. If you’re a fan of unique architecture and thoughtful design, you’ll love it here. The location is great: a lively yet peaceful neighborhood with a welcoming atmosphere. All the amenities you could need are provided, making the stay both comfortable and convenient. Highly recommended!

Markus’s place was a cosy 2 bedroom flat in a great location. He provided a guide to local restaurants and they are all literally on the same street, including a great cafe, bars and cocktail lounges, and a grocery store and a Walmart for longer stays. The unit is well appointed with everything you would need to feel at home, cook, do laundry, and sleep peacefully. And we really appreciated the excellent communication and quick responsiveness if we had any questions during our stay.

This is, as described, a truly quiet place. A refreshing respite from trying to get hotels to reserve a quiet corner. The immediate neighbourhood is very quiet but it is a 15-minute walk to the Greektown shops and restaurants, also the subway station. The instructions provided were so clear that it was no problem dealing with the murphy bed, door lock, etc.

Walking distance to Rogers Centre, CN Tower, Roundhouse Park, and many other attractions. Lots of food options and a convenience store nearby.

Mehrdads condo was perfect for us. The view from the balcony, the proximity for bars and restaurants the CN tower and aquarium. Ten minute walk to union street train station. The condo was comfortable and well furnished and we felt very settled as soon as we moved in. Communication and entry on arrival was hassle free. Would totally recommend !

The condo is in the perfect location. Everything is close by within walking distance. No need for a car. The view is looking out past CN Tower the stadium and the city with water views. Nick the host was very responsive and helpful. The bed was comfortable and all the amenities were as described. We enjoyed our stay and will return if we are in Toronto.

Very nice spot. Go Train is very close. Only takes 1 train to get to downtown. Many restaurants around and a grocery store within a 5 minute walk. Parking garage is super great considering how difficult it is finding parking in the region. Great all around experience. Would recommend !

Just spent 2 days at David’s place. It was great; exactly like the pictures and very clean! Apartment had everything we needed and David was quick to respond to any question. The area was very nice and easy to walk to anything. Recommended!
