Very nice place, matched the description, very beautiful neighborhood up on the hill. The host is very nice and responsive. The apartment is very cozy and well equipped.

If you are thinking of staying here, do it! This is an amazing home and somehow even better in person. It’s very close to the train station (we walked it with a baby and luggage and had no issue. No steep incline and mostly paved). Jacuzzi spa, sauna and laundry in the basement. Tucked away on a quiet street but right in the middle of town (next to the oldest hotel in zermatt). Marc was extremely helpful, accommodating and friendly. This spot is more of a 5 star hotel with the extra space and private amenities. We would come back in a heartbeat. Beyond impressed. There’s a reason why the reviews are all glowing.

Loved the chalet the views amazing so peaceful loved the area love to cook so it was perfect every thing I need was there home os cozy and comfortable loved to wake up to the mountains views and those cows outside so beautiful perfect place to catch bus just in front of chalet and coop great place to buy groceries and bus station great services and easy access go other places like Bern Interlaken Frutigen love this place really recommend for couples or families

Wir haben 3 Tage in der schönen Wohnung von Konrad verbracht. Die Wohnung ist wie auf den Fotos beschrieben (im Erdgeschoss eines der schönen alten Häuser). Das Bett ist wirklich sehr bequem und auf der kleinen Terrasse vor der Haustür haben wir - mit toller Aussicht- Zmorgen und Znacht genossen! Auch noch zu erwähnen ist, dass die Küche wirklich gut ausgestattet ist!

La maison est préparée avec soin et l’effet « waou » est assuré dès qu’on arrive en haut de l’escalier. L’architecture est bien pensée et les artisans qui ont travaillé le bois sont vraiment très forts. Attention aux échardes car le bois est brut, mais c’est ce qui fait son grand charme. Pince à épiler à emporter. Vous n’allez pas y échapper 😂. La chambre pour d’éventuels enfants est sécurisée par des vitres. La vue depuis chaque pièce est de ce fait optimisée. C’est vraiment très beau. Remontée pour le ski à 3 min en voiture soit en direction de Cham, soit direction Argentière, balades dans la forêt depuis le chalet pour toutes saisons. Literie très confortable. Sauna appréciable. Salles de bains petites mais très fonctionnelles. Si vous cuisinez, lisez le mode d’emploi de la cuisinière sur internet. Subtilités utiles. Si j’y reviendrais? Avec un immense plaisir 🥰

Norbert hat uns bei der Ankunft freundlich begrüsst und uns wertvolle Tipps für die nähere Region gegeben. Das Haus war sehr sauber und ist mit viel Liebe fürs Detail eingerichtet. Es fehlt an nichts. Die Betten sind traumhaft, die Wiese mit der Esche hinter dem Haus ist lauschig und die Feuerschale am richtigen Ort. Die Spazier- und Wanderwege sind nah, der Waldweg dem Bach entlang hoch zum Pont de Nant wahrlich mystisch.

9.5/10 Review for Max Chalet Gimmelwald Max Chalet was perfect for our family of three—a fantastic base for a mountain getaway! Surroundings: Gimmelwald is stunning, with hiking right outside the door. We loved the Northface Trail and the easy gondola access to Mürren, Schilthorn, and the valley. Parking at Stechelberg was only $10/day. Entertainment: Hiking was our main activity—beautiful trails and mountain huts. Pension Gimmelwald and Mountain Hostel next door offer meals, drinks, and great pizza (8.5/10). Food: Dining options nearby, more in Mürren, and a grocery store for essentials to cook at Max. The House: Spacious, cozy, clean, with big windows framing epic views. Well-equipped kitchen, laundry room, and a great patio. Quiet at night (bring a fan for white noise). Floors creak but didn’t bother us. Host: Marianne was super responsive and helpful. Summary: We’d absolutely stay again—9.5/10! (We’ve never given a 10, so this is top marks from us!)

We had such a lovely stay, the chalet was beautiful, beyond our expectations with a very well equipped kitchen and lovely furniture. The views were breathtaking and was very close to town, and the funicular to go skiing. We had the family together and we all thoroughly enjoyed our time. Overall a lovely holiday had by all.

We had an amazing stay! The chalet is even better than in the photos. It’s full of lovely details and has loads of space. Beds are great and the bedding is high quality. The view from the living room is like a painting. Jean is a great host and made us feel very welcome. All communication was top notch. The location was great for skiing but would be equally great in summer for hiking or just chilling out in a beautiful surroundings. I warmly recommend this place for anyone.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans le très beau châlet de Christian, le châlet est moderne et fonctionnel mais aussi agréable et chaleureux, le feu ouvert donne un plus pour les soirées d’après ski. Nous étions avec nos grands enfants, tout le monde a trouvé sa place et son bonheur dans le châlet , la cuisine permet la préparation de vrais repas de famille. Les remontées sont accessibles à pieds en 20 minutes. Christian est aimable et à l’écoute.

- Logement agréable, lumineux et propre. - Accueil chaleureux et flexibilité de la propriétaire pour les clés). - Départ à 11h, ce qui nous laisse le temps de partir sans stress.

Wie auf den Bildern, perfekt ausgestattet und man fühlt sich direkt wie Zuhause. Wunderschöne Aussicht über Sion. Man brauch aber ein Auto. Sauna und Whirlpool waren ein Traum:) Komme auf jedenfall wieder.

2e séjour pour mes amis et moi au Chalet Adler! Comme l’année dernière, nous avons passé de supers moments, dans une atmosphère chaleureuse, paisible et des prestations hautes gammes. Les hôtes sont toujours réactifs et bienveillants quant au bon déroulé de notre séjour, c’est agréable ! Merci :)

Wir haben eine wunderschöne Zeit verbracht in Melvin und Cristina's schönem Chalet. Das Haus macht es einfach sich schnell einzuleben und hat eine unglaubliche Aussicht auf den See und die Berge. Die Ausstattung mit Sauna und Jaccuzi haben wir sehr genossen und würden diese Unterkunft jederzeit weiter empfehlen.
