From the moment we arrived, we knew we had stepped into something special. Nestled in the hills near Guatavita, this serene retreat offers more than a stay—it offers an experience. The pictures don’t do it justice. Spotlessly clean, spacious, and full of charm, it was perfect for our group of five. The meals were unforgettable—the baked chicken and BBQ feast were divine, and breakfasts each day were perfect. The “wild” animals added magic, and the staff, warm and attentive, kept the fires glowing. Bring essentials (and marshmallows!) as the road in is rugged and nearby shops are limited. Guatavita, just minutes away, is a gem—don’t miss the tomato soup at La Cava or artisan chocolate at Guataland. This home is a soulful sanctuary filled with love, comfort, and wonder. We came seeking rest and left with memories we’ll treasure forever. We will return.

This place is really beautiful. You can tell that there has been a lot of good energy work in this space, which you can feel from the entrance. The philosophy of life of Maria Elisa and her family, permaculture, is vibrant there. We learned a lot from it, he generously told us the history of the place. The cabin is completely private, in a space just to be very quiet, but at the same time totally comfortable. We used the fireplace and then we achieved a magical atmosphere during the days we were there. I recommend this accommodation as a peaceful and quiet place

We arrived on an extremely rainy day, Nelson was all the way looking out for us, both on the way there and back. The house is equipped with everything you need to spend a couple of days away from the routine. The view is definitely worth it.

We stayed 1 day Pros: spectacular view. We were able to make a campfire. It has everything you need for cooking. The house is very nice. I don't like dogs but they had 3 very friendly ones, they accompanied us on walks and made us feel protected. The man who takes care of it is a super nice guy. He did us the favor of buying some beers and some food. We even got to milk his cows. It was really cool. Late and flexible check-out Cons: to get there you have to go a long time by dirt road. The location they gave us was wrong and we ended up going through another very difficult one. It was the caretaker's turn to rescue us. So far from everything that we decided to stay and enjoy the house because even the stores are far away. I recommend bringing everything you need from Ubate (everything). To go for a walk, there is only the same path as the cars. Within the property there is a 20-30 minute round trip walk. We like longer walks. In general, nice but very difficult to get to

I really liked the experience of the place, it's a space to go to rest, get away from the city. Very good service when we arrived, as they had everything ready for the campfire and the grill. The Fúquene viewpoint route is recommended, excellent.

Nice cozy house with a spectacular view of the lake. Daniel and also the housekeeper that received us were very attentive and kind. The access road to the house are unpaved and the uphill is steep so I would recommend to go on a reliable vehicle. Very remote and quiet place to have a relaxed stay, overall we lived it!

I would like to tell you a lot about this accommodation and well if you want to disconnect from the world and rediscover yourself, enjoy the beautiful landscape, the lagoon, the impressive garden, the birds singing... and much more!!! You have to come here, it is ideal for couples and also for families and friends, we traveled with our 18 year old son, 4 friends of the same age, and our nanny, and we spent wonderful and very fun days doing all the recreational activities they offer.... we will repeat hundreds of times just to see Carlos grow, and to feel the way we felt there. If they make a barbecue, it's the best... we're speechless, keep it up Carlos. 🥰🥰🥰
