The house was exactly as described. Quiet neighborhood location. Clean, well stocked. We weren’t traveling with small children, but if we were this home had that covered! High chair, pack n play, even some toys… would be great for a young family. I do wish there had been shampoo in the bathrooms - we had to run out to grab some since we forgot. Otherwise, everything was perfect!! Would absolutely stay again.

Anthony’s Airbnb in Shawnee, KS, was perfect! The place was clean, comfortable, and had all the essentials for a great stay. Anthony was very accommodating, quick to respond, and made everything seamless. The quiet neighborhood was a bonus. Highly recommend! Five stars!

Location is the best part of this home. I loved being so close to my favorite parts of KC. The house is beautifully decorated and well designed, making a small square foot home feel very functional and spacious. I also enjoyed the private driveway and nice backyard! Worked well for my family with (had a toddler and a baby with me)! Had a pack and play and the large mirror was anchored to the wall!!! Could consider adding high chair and more child utensils/plates/cups but those are minor requests!

Loved the size, location, and fenced backyard. Often we’ve tried finding fenced yard for our dogs and then the yards are patchwork fencing or not fenced at all- this place was a gorgeous, large, privacy fencing and well-maintained. This is so important to us for the safety and enjoyability of our dogs. Thank you for having exactly what you advertised! My daughter loved the finished basement- felt grown like she had her own apartment. I loved walking the neighborhood- it was quiet, safe, clean, friendly.

If you need a place to stay in this area, this is your place!! I was impressed with how safe the neighborhood was and the amenities he provided were above and beyond anything I have ever experienced before- to include mouthwash, lotion, eye makeup remover, and cotton to help with the makeup removal. Laundry products with washer and dryer available in the unit- coffee pods and bottled water. Because we will be in KC again this fall, this will be the first place I look for to meet our home away from home needs.

We booked with Ayalnesh on short notice when the power went out at our house and we needed a place to stay with our 2 little ones. She responded to our booking request very quickly and the home was clean and ready for us when we arrived a few hours later. The home was comfortable and had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the crib and the toy basket, but even things like extra blankets, the organized kitchen and hampers to help with laundry were a nice surprise. Such a comfortable place and our toddler had a blast. Definitely recommend for families.

The place was very nice. The house was well equipped with all that a guest would need. The inside has been recently remodeled throughout, to include a new kitchen and bathroom renovation. The house was very cozy and larger than we expected. Highly recommend. We will stay there the next time we are in the area.

We really enjoyed staying at grandma bs house it was very homey and quite literally like you were at grandmas house! The home was so cute and quaint! The lil town of de Soto was also super cute like right out of a story book! We did visit the local pizzeria and it was so good! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

The location is convenient to many activities and within easy range of downtown Kansas City. We’ve stayed at many AirBnB properties and the beds here are probably the most comfortable of them all 👍🏻

Lovely, clean, and well-stocked place to stay! It was so generous of our host to have a few cold drinks and snacks available, after a long travel day, it made it feel like home. Lots of top-notch little parks nearby to go for a stroll.

My friends and I loved staying here. We had stayed for a week to celebrate a birthday and the place was very cozy and clean. The furnishings were great, and our hosts were very receptive and friendly. They had even gotten a bonfire started in the fire pit for us so we could enjoy their lovely patio in the back yard. The location is safe and walkable, with a restaurant plaza within walking distance full of great options. For the price, location, and all of the amenities, this place is a gem to say at, and Brian and Kari were gracious hosts who made sure we stayed comfortable for the entire stay. Would highly recommend!

This was just what we needed for our trip. we were far enough out from KC to not feel hurried, but close enough to get to downtown or the power and light district for entertainment choices. great hosts!

We enjoyed staying here. So relaxing, comfortable, clean, stocked with supplies and treats. Everything, including a comfortable bed, that we needed for a good stay. The patio was our favorite spot to listen to the distance trains and fun birds. (so close to get on freeways too)

overall, I'm very happy with the stay! I was told the shower head got broke during the last person's stay and I was warned that it may or may not be fixed before my arrival, which was fine, I was looking forwards to a bath anyways. To my surprise upon arrival it Was Fixed! so that was awesome! Props to his maintenance team! The bed was SO comfy! Great location, top tier parking, 1st floor living, while I could see my truck outside my window was reassuring and great for lugging my luggage in. Thank you Adam!

David is such a great host, very communicative, place was super clean and felt very homey. Always responsive when I had a question, the area is nice and quiet. Overall I would definitely book again, I also recommend to book if you want to feel at home and just have some nice places to eat away from the city.

The location is wonderful. You can see the Nelson Atkins museum grounds from the East-facing windows. Loved the TV in the bedroom too.

Good location and easy to find. On the third floor so if you are not able to use the stairs it might not be a good fit for you.

Definitely a one of a kind great vibe inside and out! Plus, La Bodega, a tapa spot that has been around for years, sits right across the street and couldn't be a better match for this Airbnb! In addition, it's clear that Jake pays just as much attention to his hosting skills as he does to the details in this unique place. Well worth the stay!

Ratings and reviews were all correct. Our stay was relaxing and comfortable. We were able to speak with our host if anything was needed. I strongly recommend this place if you're ever in town and need a relaxing stay. We look forward to staying at this oasis if ever in town again.

This place was very charming, welcoming and had lots of natural sunlight. It had plenty of space for what we needed it for. It was perfect for a little getaway! The hostess was friendly and communicated in a timely manner. Had no issues at all and would definitely recommend it to others. I hope to stay there again!

A tremendous host and a fantastic rental. Kansas City is an underrated American city and this location puts you right in the heart of it all!
