Guest house holiday rentals in Leiria District

A very homey feel and amazing hosts. We were made to feel like we were welcome to use all the shared space as if it were our home. The swimming pool was a nice touch and a great temperature as they have a cover over it. We had use of a refrigerator and each of our rooms had our own bathrooms. The location is remote if you want to walk to a restaurant or bar and about a 10 minute drive if you want to go to a restaurant or grocery store. We found the area good as a home base for our excursions, with breakfast included and friendly and helpful hosts we’d recommend this Airbnb.

A quiet week-long stay, in a beautiful garden. Everything is well maintained, lots of care and tastes. Carole and her husband are attentive to every detail to make us feel good. Thank you for everything.

We really enjoyed our stay. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful. The house is in a quiet area very near to all the Knights Templars castles which we wanted to visit. Having the small swimming pool was a great addition. There are lots of good restaurants nearby.

We had a fantastic time, it was very private and relaxing. The house is very well thought out, clean and the facilities available were extraordinary. The space in the house was brilliant and having 2 bathrooms was great. The outside pool area was very private. We could have happily just stayed at the house for the week. The main town of Alcobaça was a 9min drive. The amenities in the town were second to none with every shop available. Also Being 10 min away from major motor ways , meant that traveling to Fatim, Coimbra, Nazaré, figueira da foz, and even to Lisbon and Porto do easy. It's a great base to explore Portugal. Excellent accommodation in Tomar. The place was clean and well organized, with attention to detail. The location is great, close to the main points of the city. Cordial and efficient service. Breakfast is simple, but it meets the needs well and is a practical option. I recommend it!

Staying in Ani's beautiful guesthouse was an absolute delight. Not only was the surrounding area picturesque, Ani made us feel right at home with her welcoming fruits and veggies. The location is a little drive away from Lisbon, but the surrounding area and towns are worth exploring and offer more than enough. I would say the pool was our favourite part, but the lovely cats that came to visit us from time to time stole the show. All and all a lovely time, we will be back if we're ever in the area again.

We had a wonderful time. And enjoyed the evenings at sunset on the terrace . We would like to come back. We were warmly welcomed and we didn't lack anything. In the evening, fresh grapes from the garden were on our table, so delicious :). Thanks for everything .

The apartment is located in a very quiet village, with a food store and a cafe. A 5-minute drive away, and a 15-minute walk away, there are several beaches and a wide range of restaurants. It shares a garden plot, orchard, parking, and clothesline area with three other accommodations, but with enough distance to have privacy. In the common areas there is a beautiful and sunny garden with terrace furniture where you can sunbathe, have breakfast, read, etc. The house is newly built with quality materials and is tastefully furnished with good furniture. In relation to cleanliness, it is impeccable. We have stayed here again this year, as it offers us everything we need. This area of Portugal is a gem, offering many things to see and do, and has a proportionate, family-friendly, and quiet tourism. Eugenia and Julia were attentive and quick to respond to any need. It was a pleasure. We'll be back.

Staying in Tomar was an unforgettable experience. The house is within walking distance from the train station and right next to ancient walls that lead to a beautiful castle. The area is peaceful with no nearby houses, so it’s incredibly quiet day and night—at night, you hear nothing but birds and insects. The guest house has everything you need, with fast Wi-Fi, strong and hot water, and a well-equipped kitchen. Outside, you can relax in a hammock or enjoy the sun in a chair. The sunset is stunning, and the night sky is full of stars. The host lives in the main house at a respectful distance, offering full privacy but always ready to help if needed. They are truly kind, thoughtful, and respectful—anticipating guests’ needs and making sure your stay is perfect. I even got fresh lemons from the garden and made delicious lemonade. Thanks to the host’s warmth, I fell in love with Tomar and would return in a heartbeat.

It is a very nice, cozy house with lots of spaces and environments outside to enjoy. It doesn't lack any detail, it has a lot of household items and the reception was wonderful: when we arrived the lady was waiting for us with a chocolate candy that tasted great after a long trip. The 5 of us who stayed felt very good in the house, highly recommended!

Antônio welcomed us with great sympathy and Brenda gave us excellent directions for tours in the region, despite the fact that we stayed less than 24 hours in the place

the house was super clean and comfortable, the neighborhood is quiet and local but a short drive from the beach, supermarkets and a lot of things to do. Natalie was nice and responsive and gave us a lot of cool local tips. we can't wait to come back next year!

We felt completely comfortable with Sabrina and Hélio. The apartment is unique and designed with great attention to detail in the style of a boathouse - a real place of well-being. Everything has been thought of: The kitchen is excellently equipped, it was sparkling clean and nothing is missing. The location is wonderfully quiet and the sea is very close. The camping site is a very lovely place, with many plants and flowers, everything was clean and lovingly furnished, the hosts were helpful and kind and we had very interesting conversation with them, we had great vacations with our two children.

Beautiful location: great for walking locally, plenty of historic sites nearby, the coast is only a short drive away. The bungalow has everything you need and is spotlessly clean. Beautiful view from the lounge. Very friendly host.

An artistic and modern house in bucolic surroundings

We had a nice holiday with our family. The house is very clean and tidy. A cupboard with toys for our daughter was very popular. The pool was wonderful and there are several places in the garden to sit. We also received a basket of peas from our own harvest and my daughter was allowed to pick fresh strawberries. Very nice and welcoming. Recommended if you are looking for a quiet stay in a quiet area.

a lovely peaceful location, perfectly set out place to stay. the walk in is very steep but the local taxi service is very reasonably priced.

What to say... it's a beautiful place surrounded by greenery with stunning views of the surrounding area. Darleene is a welcoming and very kind person. Everything is available in the accommodation. The pool is awesome. There is a common room to watch TV and eat with others inside. Outdoor play area ping, darts. Great outdoor space for large tables with an outdoor kitchen. Would definitely stay again as this slice of paradise is pleasant. As a bonus, I saw a shooting star and saw the swallows dancing above my head. Thanks again Darleene for your hospitality.

The apartment is true to the description. The best thing is the pool and the space around it that is shared with other tenants, but we rarely saw them. Inside we only missed that the TV was only in French (although you can access apps like Netflix) and an oven, but both things did not seem essential to us. Didier was very friendly and hospitable. Too bad we couldn't talk much because we don't speak the same languages. We had a small problem in the apartment due to a lack of understanding, but as soon as we understood each other, he solved it quickly. The house is close to Foz do Arelho (within walking distance) and the beach. Foz is small, quiet and pleasant with a few restaurants and shops. A 15-minute drive away you have Caldas da Rainha with all the amenities (hypermarkets, restaurants...). In short: an apartment without great luxuries but with the essentials, with a spectacular outdoor space and close to the beach. Very nice hosts.

We loved our stay at Tania's place. It was spacious, very clean, comfortable and cozy. Tania has thought of everything to make a stay at her place enjoyable. The surroundings are private and the pool is lovely. Tania was very helpful and a great communicator.

Elif is an amazing host, always attentive and kind. All her recommendations were very helpful. The house is big and wonderful and is located in a quiet and nice area. My kids had a lot of fun in the pool and the play house was their favourite. We really enjoyed our stay, we would like to return another time. :)
