Stay in the old village schoolhouse

Our historic school building with wonderfully high ceilings and its thick sandstone walls offers plenty of space (about 130 square meters) for up to four people. It was lovingly ecologically renovated by us until 2013. Downstairs there is a large kitchen-living room, upstairs a cozy small bedroom and a large studio, which can also be used by artistically ambitious guests. From Gräfenhausen you can go directly to the Palatinate Forest by mountain bike or on foot. The nearest climbing rock is also a 20-minute walk. In the village there is a small restaurant with a village shop and a bakery (both directly opposite the house).

Really recommended! We would book again. We felt very comfortable due to the cleanliness and the loving and modern furnishings. The furnishings left nothing to be desired. Sabine and her husband were very friendly and gave us good tips - on one tip we visited a restaurant in the village and were very satisfied.

It is really a very nice cozy little house, ideal for 2 people, with everything you need to relax properly. It is also the ideal starting point for great hikes to the nearby castle ruins. On the terrace and in the garden you can have a great breakfast and also the brick fireplace grill in the garden is great. We will be happy to come back!

It was very pleasant. We felt right at home. The house is spacious and very stylishly furnished inside. Everything looked like the photos and everything was clean. We were able to use the well-equipped kitchen very well. The location of the house is quiet and rural and you can, for example, take a nice walk outside in nature. The food was also good in the local restaurant. Six of us (4 adults, 2 children) had a great time. We will be happy to come back.

The stay was really very nice. Everything in the apartment was clean and tidy and nothing was missing. Despite very warm temperatures, the studio did not heat up too much during the day with the shutters closed, so you could sleep well at night. I would recommend it! 👍🏻
