A village where you can enjoy shopping and have a choice of several restaurants in the evening. The city of Groningen is 15 minutes away by car/bike 1 hour and 20 minutes by public transport.

You are welcome to stay at 't Beschilderde Huis to enjoy Jo's artistic/homely atmosphere. Guests have their own entrance, livingroom and kitchen. Bathroom/toilet and bedrooms are upstairs. Breakfast and/or eveningmeals are an extra option, but cost are not included. Groningen is a 15km bikeride. At 3km walk from the house there is a good busconnection. Host offers language lessons ( English, Italian, Dutch). We appreciate good communication before accepting requests.

Where previously the shop/office spaces with customer toilet were, in the fall of 2019 we created a bedroom, living room with kitchenette (with coffee and tea facilities/fridge) and toilet/shower. The shop entrance is now a private entrance for our guest house. Ordering breakfast is possible, but this is not included in the base price as standard.
