A Peaceful Retreat in the Heart of Friesland 🌿 My partner Fleur and I spent three unforgettable days on a retreat in the peaceful village of Earnewâld, and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Our Airbnb host, Jan Adema, welcomed us with genuine warmth and hospitality. Jan comes from a long line of local family business owners, and you can feel that sense of tradition and pride in every detail of the home. The bedroom felt like a suite in a luxury hotel — spotless, cozy, and beautifully styled, with a personal touch that made the experience even more special (we especially loved the unique painting above the bed). But what truly sets this place apart is the atmosphere of calm. If you're looking to disconnect and reconnect — with nature, your thoughts, or your loved ones — this is the place. It’s hard to describe, you simply have to book a stay to feel peace at its finest. We left refreshed, inspired, and deeply grateful. Highly recommend this stay 🌞

Sita's place was perfect for my two night stay in Dukkum. Perfect location and lock box for easy and flexible check-in. Sita was a wonderful host and left a nice welcome gift. Definitely will stay here again when I am back in the area.

Very nice, cozy apartment which was really very clean. My partner and I felt very comfortable there. It is within walking distance of everything, as the apartment is in the center of Joure. If you have any questions, the hosts were directly available, we are very satisfied.

It was a great stay in a very nice AirBnB! It’s spacious, has a nice view with a nice bbq opportunity. The surrounding has lots to do and everything was walkable. Our group had a blast. Thank you so much for the great stay.

Johan and Karine were very welcoming and helpful. They make their place home "away from home" for their guests. Very responsive hosts and they are always willing to help. I enjoyed my stay, especially when visited Johan's farm where I took some amazing photographs. Would definitely recommend this place!

We had a completely successful stay in this beautiful apartment. The amenities left nothing to be desired – everything you need was available, and the apartment was very tastefully furnished and spotlessly clean. The location is also perfect: in a few minutes you can be in the city, on the beach and at the supermarket - everything is easily accessible. We felt comfortable from the first moment and can only recommend the apartment. Gladly again!

We had a really nice stay with great views and a cozy, private balcony with evening sun. The decor is very tasteful and modern, the apartment is clean and well maintained, the hosts are very friendly and make really delicious ice cream 😉 We will be happy to come back!

What a very nice BnB! Many of the furniture and accessories come from the family, which makes it extra fun. Durkje is very hospitable. On Sunday, I was allowed to look in her hat shop and she told us all about the history of the building and her family. So much fun! We will definitely come back!

Simply amazing!

We had a very nice stay. Baaiduinen is located in the middle of the island so from the b&b we cycled around the whole island. There is super much to do. We were 3 adults and 4 small children. The b&b is clean, spacious and complete. There is a small playground. The good-to-go closet was really great. And also for the children there were some toys to borrow. On a next visit, I would definitely go here again.

The accommodation was lovingly furnished, the whirlpool and sauna were clean, well-maintained and the whirlpool was already preheated upon arrival. Roger was totally nice, attentive and not intrusive. A good place to switch off from everyday life and spend a few days right by the lake.
