The Old Pottery

RichardRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had a wonderful stay at The Old Pottery. The location was very beautiful and peaceful, and the property was very practical, warmly furnished and decorated. We really loved the handmade plates and bowls, so much so that we ended up buying a couple of items from their on-site shop! Jon was very helpful and responsive before and during our stay. We'd love to return when we're next in the area.

Detached cottage with views over Shropshire Hills

JaneRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We have just returned from a lovely week at Allison & Neil's cottage. The location and view for me were the highlights. The cottage was spotlessly clean and was really well equipped with everyhing you could need. The welcome pack and homemade bread were a generous bonus! Allison & Neil were really kind and helpful and provided undercover space for our bikes. The location was perfect with bike rides and walks direct from the cottage. We would like to return.

Stretton Cottage - self catering, fabulous view

Great location for a quiet weekend, fortunately there was no one in the accommodation next door which made it even more private. Loved the way the apartment was decorated, nice and comfy bed, spacious bathroom.

Longmynd House

JemimaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
lovely place, very clean, easy to find and access the property. great rooms, minimal decor so a little bland but not necessarily an issue. the only negative were the creaking floorboards and the very loud water system - it meant that if someone is up in the night and uses the bathroom, you're woken up! so, I found myself quite tired for the few days we were there. I wrote to Jonathan a couple of times but didn't receive a response.

The Clock House

JackieRating, 5 stars4 days ago
The place was very nice . You will do better with a smaller car for having to back up all the way through the alley can be tough. Our car was bigger. Stairs to get up to the door to enter ( but a nice landing/patio) wonderful inside full washer and dryer( no detergent bring your own) bring a fan or fans for it was unseasonably hot when there and I bought a fan . He had 2 luggage racks which was wonderful! Centrally located for hiking and shopping.

Myndy The Shepherd's Hut

AmyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We really enjoyed our stay at Myndy. The location is perfect with Carding Mill Valley, other walks and Church Stretton town on the door step, it was a great spot for our overnight stay. Myndy feels very welcoming, has beautiful views and is very peaceful. The hut is spotless and has all the basics that you will need for a short stay with a very comfy bed. We only met David on our stay however, he was very welcoming and checked to see if we needed any advice about Church Stretton and walks in the area. Pre-arrival communication was great with clear instructions for how to find Myndy and how to gain access. We would definitely recommend staying at Myndy and would stay again if we visit the area again in the future. Thank you

The Oaks - Stylish house in Shropshire Hills AONB

Catherine LynneRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Beautiful and well equipped house in completely stunning surroundings. Many walks in the immediate vicinity and a large safe garden which was thoroughly enjoyed by our toddler grandsons! I’d very much recommend The Oaks’ for a large family gathering, especially if you like open spaces and exceptional views.
