The Hideout is a self contained annexe with its own entrance and parking. It is conveniently situated on a private road on the edge of Ilfracombe, with direct access to the Tarka Trail and the Cairn Nature Reserve. In a secluded rural setting, it is only a 20 minute stroll down the hill to the High Street and a few minutes more will take you to the picturesque harbour area. Ilfracombe benefits from free car parks/roadside parking between 6pm - 8am, alternatively, there is a regular bus service.

Situated in the Valley of Woolacombe a 10 minute walk from the beach along a public footpath the shepherds hut provides the perfect getaway. Set in private ground surrounded by rolling hills and a view down the valley to the sea. The hut itself provides the sleeping area which has been hand crafted and is cozy in both summer and winter with a log burner. With its pretty whitewashed exterior the cottage is set next to a trickling stream next to the historic Norman church of St. George in the heart of Georgeham village. Putsborough surfing beach is a 25 minute walk via fields or via a lane. or 5 minute drive. The Kings Arms and 17th century Rock Inn serving gastro pub food are 1 minute and a 4 minute walk away.
