Holiday rentals in Le Morne

We had a great stay at Casa Isabel for three nights. Maria and Bernard were very helpful and responsive hosts. There is a lovely view of the sea from the apartment, a small pool and a friendly dog Gitana! Le Morne beach is one of the loveliest places in Mauritius so we felt lucky to stay so close to it. The peaceful surroundings also make it a delight for stargazing/birdwatching. The place is a self contained unit and beautifully set up. The well stocked kitchen has lots of utensils and a stove, microwave and fridge, so it's easy to fix yourself meals if you feel like it. You should probably have a car to stay here though, since there aren't too many restaurants around and the closest supermarket is in the next town, La Gaulette. The closest public beach, Le Morne public beach is also not a comfortable walking distance as the beach you can see from the window is a private beach for the five star hotels close by. Also, bring your own shower gel/soap, only hand soap is provided here.

The place was absolutely amazing—beautiful interiors, very clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was friendly and responsive, and the overall ambiance was perfect for a relaxing trip. That said, getting to the property was a bit tricky, especially if you’re not familiar with the area. Also, maneuvering the car into the parking spot took some effort due to tight access. It’s manageable, but something to keep in mind if you’re driving. Overall, a great stay and would still recommend it, especially for the quality of the space!

Jean Christophe, his family and Agnes were all warm, helpful and generous hosts. The house and location were even better than the photos and the kindness afforded by the nearby family and the housekeeping team was fabulous. I will miss looking up at Le Morne from the pool 💔 but we will be back! Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful home.

This house has no flaws, it really belongs to the luxury category. It is modern, cosy. There is a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, each bedroom has its own shower and toilet and air conditioning. Everything in the house is well thought out, despite the proximity of nature,there are no insects in the house, everything is very clean. Cleaning of the house and pool is included in the price. A large modern kitchen with everything you need (and more), a large TV with access to all services, and the jewel of the house - the roof with stunning views. The owner of the house, Gilbert, is a very nice person, always on call, met us personally and showed us around. He organised a tour to the dolphins and even prepared a small gift, which was very nice. We felt like we were visiting a good old friend. There are some good restaurants, a supermarket and Le Morne beach close to the house, I liked it the best on the west coast of Mauritius. We definitely recommend this house and its professional owner Gilbert!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Arvind. Le logement était parfait : propre, bien équipé et idéalement situé, à proximité du Morne et de nombreuses excursions dans les environs. Arvind a été très amical, disponible. Merci encore pour l’accueil ! Nous reviendrons sans hésiter.

Un endroit parfait ! Nadia est toujours disponible et très accueillante. Elle a même pris l’initiative d’appeler pour la réservation, car nous ne pouvions pas la faire nous-mêmes. Le logement est magnifique, un véritable cocon, parfaitement rangé, avec tout le nécessaire et une literie exceptionnelle. On s’y sent vraiment bien. Le petit plus : le jacuzzi en soirée, idéal pour se détendre après une belle journée à l'île Maurice. Nous recommandons à 100 % !

Wr hatten eine wunderbare Zeit! Die Wohnung ist perfekt für ein paar Tage im Süden von Mauritius! Es hat alles was man braucht und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Nur die Strasse war ein bisschen laut aber man gewöhnt sich daran. Ich würde jederzeit wieder hier bleiben.
