Holiday rentals with a kayak in Le Haut-Saint-Laurent Regional County Municipality

Thank you, Palmer for an enjoyable stay at your beautiful lake house. We came up for a college tour of UVM and the location was perfect. It took us only 20 minutes to get there and then at the end of our day we came back to relax and unwind at your comfy and spotless home. Every room was beautifully furnished , comfortable and really just felt homey. The kids enjoyed hanging out downstairs watching movies while the adults enjoyed cocktails and talking all while taking in the amazing view of the lake. We had a wonderful time and would certainly return. Only two minor issues, one of which just might have been our own unfamiliarity with the home. The living room gets really warm and even though we turned down the thermostat, it kept creeping up. But it could have even been the fact that it was so sunny one of the days we were there. A minor issue. Outside, the railing to get down from the deck to the yard is a bit wobbly in places and may be due to be replaced soon. Also, no big deal.

One of the best homes I’ve rented in Vermont, the home was beautiful, the property was beautiful as well. Would highly recommend having a vehicle to be able to handle the unexpected weather conditions and would highly recommend staying at this home if you’re looking to snowboard/ski or a simple getaway, the ideal home! The host was super thoughtful and responsive as well. Highly recommend!

How was clean, neat, and comfortable. I imagine if the weather was better we would have enjoyed the outdoor amenities. It was also very convenient to downtown.

We loved our stay. It was beautiful and we loved being right by the lake as well as the sauna, fire pit, and outdoor seating. The house was cozy and the little kids toy closet was such a cute touch. We had an amazing time on our family vacation and would definitely recommend this rental. Ash was also so communicative and ready to help if we ever needed anything. So thankful!

We came to visit family but fell in love with the area and hope to visit again. Perfect location with stunning view of the lake and close proximity to many areas to explore and parks. Comfy beds and many small touches such as throw blankets, phone chargers, kcups, ice cube trays and local maple gift. Family enjoyed the hot tub and kayak too. Home very clean. Will definitely rent again when in the area.

We had a great time. Laura's place was awesome. My son and I fished the LCI while my wife and daughter got some well deserved relaxation. They spent most of their time just sitting out in the backyard overlooking the lake while we fished. After dinner we sat out by the fire relaxing by the water. Played a game by the fire one night. It was a great weekend for our family to get away with just us to bond. Laura's place had everything we needed and more. We loved it. We hated to have to leave.

Beautiful cabin in the woods that isn’t too far from anything but feels isolated just the same. Terrific base of operations to access many trailheads, Lake Placid and Saranac Lake. Restful and low maintenance stay. We would recommend and visit again.

Great relaxing place right on the lake. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you could need including spices. We stayed for four days and wish we had stayed longer. The only thing to remember is if using Google Maps it will take you to the wrong address,

Eugene’s place was very clean and had everything we needed. He was very responsive, Super accommodating and helpful as well. My son and I had a great time on the water in the pedal boat and he loved the hot tub! (Which I will add was also very clean) If you choose to stay at this relaxing, quiet and enjoyable place, it is suggested to do groceries prior to coming into town as it is quite expensive at the towns grocery store and if you’d like to use the fire pit, bring your fire wood as it is not provided. Thank you Eugene! We enjoyed our stay and were sad to go :)

Great weekend in this beautiful cottage, everything was perfect according to me. The view, the fire pit, the beautiful open space. Peaceful place, clean and the hosts were super nice to us. Would definitely recommend and would definitely go back with my little family! Thanks again.

We can’t thank Lisa enough for sharing her home with us, even though our stay was fairly short. Lisa was a very gracious host, very responsive, and very friendly. The cottage (and backyard) looks like it’s from a postcard - very picturesque. The surroundings are extremely calm and relaxing. The entire home was well equipped with everything we needed (cleaning supplies, condiments, towels, kitchen utensils etc.) and very clean. The beds were super comfortable and the pillows even better. Also, having the pool clean and the water nice and warm was the cherry on top! We look forward to visiting Lisa’s home again, and fully take in what the area has to offer. Thank you very much Lisa!

It is a beautiful place and just like the pictures wonderful owners and were very open to our special needs. Open communications and they check in to see if there is anything else you need or if something is missing. Great location and private. We have referred this location to other members of our family and will look and see if it is available the next time we come this way

We held a retreat at this place and it was great for our purposes. There was plenty of room for all our attendees, lots of different spaces to work in, and a great relaxing environment. We especially appreciated the waterfront access and the great hot tub!

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage. The place was very clean, modern, and nicely upgraded—it felt comfortable and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay, which made everything even smoother. We truly enjoyed our time there and would definitely recommend it to others!

It was a perfect fit for us, and we had a wonderful time. Most relaxing vacation in a long time. The cabin is small, and the decor and furnishings were a real step back in time, as you can see in the pictures. But we had all the room we needed, and everything worked even the WIFI. The location is not in a dark sky area, but we were still able to see all the stars at night (and of course all the beautiful trees during the day). And although it's not a waterfront property, it's close enough that we were able to carry the kayaks ourselves to the lake/pond.

Kristy’s cabin was beautiful and in a gorgeous scenic spot with a great view of the mountains and lake. She was very quick to respond to questions , and the cabin was stocked with all the items and amenities like kayaks and comfy beach chairs that you would ever need for an Adirondack lake vacation. The location is nice and quiet and the neighboring cabins were well maintained. Just a few steps from the beach and the water was 80 degrees! A+++++ hostess and cabin. I doubt you could do better on either count.

Second visit to this lovely home. Very comfortable beds and a well stocked kitchen. Took advantage of the hot tub, had a campfire and spent time on the deck with friends. Loved the fenced in area for the dogs! Highly recommend!

The cabin was just what we needed. It was close to skiing and loved the bunk beds for my two kids. The bathroom was a little small but worked great for the few days we were there. It was clean and had everything we needed. We would love to check this place out when we can use the lake. :)

We stayed at La Belle Denis cabin and it was literally as presented in the picture. The cabin is warm in winter with hot water ! Perfect for a weekend gateway. We love the quietness in winter and the trail on the property. We hope to comeback in Summer to check out the lake! Shu
