Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Lay Lake

Had a great time with family in from of of town. Quiet lagoon area. Great for fishing and kayaking and letting the kids swim in the lake. House is in a nice private neighborhood but near stores and restaurants. Would stay again.

Great stay charming home. I would recommend this home to others

The vacation was beautiful. We loved just hanging out on the dock and kayaking up and down the lake. We enjoyed fishing and playing pool. We loved it so much that we spent the majority at the house hanging out on the dock. Laura was friendly, prompt in responses, and helpful.

We had such a wonderful stay! The house was absolutely adorable and had so much for us to do—we never ran out of ways to relax and have fun. Everything was spotless and so well taken care of. The hosts were fantastic—so kind, responsive, and thoughtful throughout our stay. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, fun, and welcoming getaway! 10/10 recommend! The town about (20 minutes) away is also SO friendly! They have the cutest little coffee shop that is so yummy! We were so happy to stay somewhere where there are sweet people & so many fun things to do.

Beautiful home , well maintained, modern up to date appliances, close to highways, and supermarket, beautiful neighborhood and yard. Very responsive host. Enjoyed our stay while we were there for my son’s graduation from The University of Alabama.

James was extremely helpful in explaining they’re lovely home. Read the details for the airbnb, they WILL answer your questions but nonetheless, I was helped and answered very promptly. If they’d allow us, we would love to rent again next year.

Mandi’s home was a great place for a little country retreat. The home was spotless, and everything was very comfortable. There are some extra rules - no alcohol or smoking - but in return for respecting the home you get nice materials. All the linens were great quality and the bedding was super comfortable. Mandi was very responsive leading up to the stay and made everything super smooth for us. Overall, loved staying here. We could tell Mandi takes pride in hosting and we felt that hospitality during our stay.

This house is terrific! It's the cleanest rental that we've ever stayed at. It was so clean that it seemed brand-new. There are more amenities than you can possibly want - ample supplies of essentials (coffee pods in multiple falvors, tea/hot chocolate) and bonus treats (snack chips, bottled water), which were very welcome after a long day of traveling. The front entry keypad is easy to use and it was nice to have a garage to keep out of the heat and rain. Plenty of dishes/cookware in the kitchen and very thoughtfully supplied with everything from measuring cups to storage containers for keeping leftovers. It's in a commercial area so it's convenient to shopping and while it's a bit north of the city of Anniston, it takes just minutes down the bypass road to get down to the highway. We would definitely look to stay again on a return visit!

Britney’s place was the best Airbnb we have ever stayed at. I could live there. Felt very homey and comfortable. It is a large one bedroom loft that is very spacious. The building is right in the heart of Birmingham with lots of great restaurants within walking distance. We will stay there again.

Raquel was very attentive and promptly addressed my inquiries. I had problems with parking and the Latch App, which I was unfamiliar with, and Raquel provided clear explanations for everything. She ensured that I felt comfortable and satisfied throughout my stay. The location was peaceful, tidy, and just a short walk from UAB. I also really enjoyed the Nespresso coffee; it was a significant bonus for me!

My family had a wonderful week watching sun rises and sailboats. The space had everything we needed. Joan was responsive and kind.

Susan was a great host. We had a problem with the A/C, but she addressed it right away and resolved the issue. And for our one day inconvenience her refunded our full amount. If the property is available I will be staying there again. Thanks.

Great location convenient to everything without the downtown traffic. You can spend the day outdoors in Oak Mountain State Park and go downtown for dinner all within 15 minutes. Also loved that when I was ready to get back on the road, it was convenient to the highway without going through the city. For light sleepers, keep in mind this is a triplex so you will hear the neighbors.

The place is very accommodating. Has everything that you need like kitchen essentials, bathroom essentials, etc! He even offered yummy snacks. Charles offered the best hospitality. He is very responsive. The house was super clean, and free of clutter. The beds were comfortable, spacious rooms. Definitely worth every penny that we spent!

Lisa was great. She met me at check-in and was able to recommend local places to me. The place was done nicely. There was plenty of space. It felt homey! I will certainly stay there again if I am ever in the area again.

This is a great place central to downtown Birmingham. Right above an awesome pizza restaurant and gelato shop. Place is exactly as pictured. The windows are beautiful. We stayed for a month and followed his helpful directions on getting a monthly parking pass for the lot right across the street and it worked out great! Would definitely stay here again.

I had a really lovely two-night stay at this loft apartment in downtown Birmingham. The building is recently renovated and in a great central location, walking distance from lots of bars and restaurants. The apartment is lovely, with big windows looking out over the train tracks (you see them but they don't bother you) and the city. The apartment is really well furnished and decorated, equipped with everything and with some personal touches and art. Parking was a little complex but I was always able to find a space nearby at low cost. Check in was very easy and the host was very communicative and helpful. The apartment was extremely clean as well as quiet. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others!

Short but sweet! We only spent two nights at Bob’s Place but it was a lovely stay. The condo was spotless and very comfortable, and Bob was a gracious host. Hopefully, next time will be longer.
