I spent three nights at Siglinda's place with my companion and our dog, visiting the greater Dordogne area, and I have only positive things to say! The house is very well located, calm but quite close (by car) to many attractions in the area. It has a very nice front yard and a huge field where our dog could roam around. Our host was always very responsive to whatever questions we might have, and check-in/check-out was completely straightforward. And the area is simply beautiful. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely welcome from Paul, he made sure we knew how everything worked and gave us lots of information regarding shops, restaurants etc. He also told us we could phone if we had any questions. The gite was perfect, as 1st time users of airbnb we were a bit nervous, but we absolutely need not of worried. I would thourally recommend the gite to anyone, it was literally two minutes from the main square of Monpazier. Also an amazing view of the valley. A lovely place, and a great base for visits to Domme, Sarlet and lots more. The gite was charming, and with everything we needed. It was great for parking if you are driving as well, right outside the gite.

Lovely village home a short block from the central square of Monpazier. Grocery, bakery, pharmacy, restaurants all within easy walking distance. Good space for two people for the week to use as a base for regional exploration. Hillary stocked the basics in the kitchen and pantry, which we appreciated as we made our own meals for the most part.

Very nice place to stay, very quiet, spacious. If you are visiting the Dordogne, I recommend you to stop by Pierre and his wife who are very welcoming, kind,available, social. The bastide de Monpazier is about 5 minutes by car! We had a pleasant time, a beautiful house, with a beautiful large garden. We'll come back to that 😊

Beatrice was lovely to deal with , helpful , flexible and responsive. Her house is very comfortable with a great amount of space inside and everything you could need available. The garden is a great space , comforting and quiet. Perfect location just steps away from the beautiful town of Monpazier’s centre with cafes , restaurants and shops. If we are ever in Monpazier again it will definitely be our go to place.
