We enjoyed a fantastic four days in Aris’ place, the views of the plateau and mountains are just beautiful! We felt right at home, and it was lovely to have Aris and his wife physically there at check in, a rarity these days! The images really don’t do this place justice, it is up some winding roads but we were prepared for that having visited the plateau in 2012. We can’t recommend staying here more, we really wish we’d have booked a longer stay! Aris had a fantastic hire car recommendation too, which was also great, and we had some amazing recommendations from them too. Thank you very much Aris!

We can highly recommend this accommodation. It's tucked away in a very secluded spot, which makes it wonderfully peaceful. At the same time, you can reach restaurants and a mini market in just a few minutes. A car is essential! The garden is stunning. The biodiversity is incredible. There's always something new to discover. The house is quite small and simply furnished, but that was absolutely fine. Everything was clean, and that's what matters most. The long driveway leading to the house can be a bit intimidating—it just slopes down without any railing or guard. But that’s just part of the Cretan charm. Giannis was always very friendly and helpful—thank you for everything! We also got to know the neighboring family and even visited them. Such kind people. And the animals! Aphroditi the horse, a peacock, chickens, and turkeys—our daughter loved them. Overall a great experience. We were very happy and would definitely recommend it. Who knows—maybe we’ll be back in a few years!

My stay at the beach house in Pachia Ammos felt like stepping into a quiet dream. The house was just as shown in the pictures — and somehow even more beautiful, embraced by the serene rhythm of the sea and the gentle charm of a peaceful neighborhood. Each morning, I woke to the whisper of waves and a view so breathtaking it felt like time stood still. The warmth of the locals made the experience even richer, and our host Marilou was the soul of it all — gracious, generous, and sincerely kind. I left a part of my heart by the shore, and I know I’ll return someday

Snorkelling paradise! Nikos and the Stone House were both great. The house is small, but has everything you need, with the pool and BBQ area where we spent most of our time, and the steps down to the sea lead to a perfect spot for snorkelling, where we saw all sorts of types of sea life. Nikos was there with everything we needed, including recommendations of beaches / restaurants etc. Ierepetra is a much nicer town than people say and the Stone House is a 5 minute drive into town. You could walk, but we didn't. Would highly recommend!

As a couple staying here, we can recommend for a quiet and relaxing stay. Everything is as advertised: simple but clean. The terrace offers privacy and is surrounded by olive trees. Restaurants are on walking distance, as is the beach (20 min) if you can cope with the steep hill. As almost everywhere in Crete, a car comes in handy for any other trips.

Very quiet place with amazing views. We really enjoyed our time there. The house is well equipped and has everything your heart desires. In the surrounding villages are very beautiful beaches, which were hardly visited, as well as small tavernas with super tasty and cheap food. We felt very comfortable.

Casa Riza was a five star home away from home. The house itself is beautifully situated in the mountains, with the most glorious views through huge (clean) glass picture windows ensuring you make the most of the crystal blue seas and cloudless skies every day. We found it to be the most stylish home with immaculately maintained amenities, flowers on the coffee table (changed halfway through our stay!) - and it was all exceptionally clean and welcoming. Decoratively it was mix of old and new, making it homely and perfectly functional for a family of four. The pool was cold - but that didn’t stop the kids using it several times a day. Our hosts were amazing - we had tonnes of helpful, local recommendations and a food shop done for us with everything we needed, plus treats like Easter eggs for the kids and local jams and honeys - all laid out when we arrived. If you’re planning a trip to Crete I highly recommend staying here, a visit to Milonas gorge and Tersa beach also 5 star! ♥️

The house has such stunning interiors, it is laid out like a 5 star hotel suite with all the added extras too - top quality shampoo/conditioner, body lotion and more. Kitchen was outstanding with every device require including 2 coffee machines - capsules and filter. The lounge is really big and the interiors very high quality, the TV is massive! The beds are super comfy and the linens really wonderful cotton, with beautiful throw cushions and occasional chairs. It feels like a 5 star hotel. As you enter the house on the lower level there are 2 double bedrooms with a shared bathroom and the laundry room, one flight of stairs up is the lounge/kitchen, and outside patio, then up again to the top floor is the master bedroom with dressing room, storage cupboard, ensuite bathroom, and outside patio. All rooms have air-conditioning. Sitia is a lovely harbor town with many restaurants and a great beach, lots of others a short drive away. Totally recommend this place - we hit the jackpot.

We stayed 14 days in the old village of Sykologos and felt completely comfortable. We didn't miss anything, the decor is tasteful and high quality. Shortly after we arrived , Andreas greeted us kindly with fresh bread and pastries. He guided us through his house and showed us around and explained everything. There were delicious,local delicacies in the fridge. We've never had anything like this! We communicated with Andreas from time to time during our stay. He is very attentive and tries to make sure his guests don't miss anything. You have to be aware that you always need a car to get to the beautiful beaches and tavernas. But it's worth it! If you appreciate the peace ,the solitude and the still real Greece with its people and habits, this is the place to be! We will be back!

We felt very comfortable directly upon arrival at the accommodation. There is a fully equipped kitchen and 2 bathrooms. There are 2 bedrooms, a "master bedroom" and a "children's bedroom". We initially had some problems with the stove/oven, as the fuse was not set correctly, as you should not use too many electrical appliances at once and have to switch something in the fuse box every now and then. However, we were able to get help quickly and efficiently. There is a path directly past the beautiful garden to the (stone) beach, which we have enjoyed using, but also occasional dog owners or walkers can use this path. The transition of the gardens with the neighbors is fluid, so that the chickens/dogs/cats of the neighbors were sometimes in front of the door, which did not bother us as animal-friendly people. The neighbors have generally been very nice. We liked the east of Crete (explored with a rental car) very much!

This was our favourite stay of the trip. The place is idyllic, with a private swimming area only a few steps away. The house is decorated tastefully and gives a really nice indoor-outdoor feeling with the large patio and sliding doors. The kitchen is extremely well-stocked with everything you might need to cook, including well-sharpened knives! Manolis brought us some fresh vegetables from the farm, which were delicious. Everything about the place is thoughtful and we loved our stay there. It is ideal for a trip where you want to spend a lot of time relaxing at the house and hanging out, it is so nice we barely wanted to leave!

Our three day stay in Alexandros' place was amazing. First of all, everything is as described in the page and even has more! Alexandros and Sofia left us a lovely note and welcome drinks, fruit and snacks! Comfortable beds, modern renovation, close free parking and very close to the centre of the lovely village of Kritsa, a great base to explore the surrounding area for those who want a smaller place to do so. We were lucky enough to be in Alexandros' place during Easter, and could experience fully the festive atmosphere of Kritsa, with processions, bonfires and celebrations, and Alexandros was so kind as to invite us to an Easter barbecue, which was a great experience for which we will be forever thankful. Highly recommend for those who want a quiet, beautiful yet central base to explore the Agios Nikolaos area.

There were two of us on site for a total of five nights. The place is fantastic and is right in a beautiful bay with a beautiful beach. For two people, the accommodation is completely sufficient and well equipped from the place. On the beach is a restaurant with delicious Greek food at fair prices. The bay is great for snorkeling and swimming, as the sea is very quiet most of the time. If you want to experience more than spending the day by the sea, you are definitely dependent on a car, which is normal for Crete. Christina as a host was very warm, accommodating and helpful. If you had any questions, they were promptly answered via text message. I can only recommend the property and Christina as a host to anyone.

My wife and stayed at Yayas cosy house for 7 nights having spent some 3 nights in Chania then 4 nights in Piskopiano. Nikolas is a fantastic host and his house is one of the best holiday homes we’ve stayed in. The accommodation has two bedrooms and could easily accommodate a family of four. Yayas house is very well equipped with everything we could ever need for our stay. We spent lazy mornings and evenings in the courtyard and rear garden having coffee or wine and reading our books. This is a place to unwind and relax. A car is essential and there are many beaches within easy reach, some much more busy than others but we were able to find several smaller beaches which were very quiet and peaceful. Neapoli is a 2 minute drive away and we visited almost everyday to buy cakes and have a coffee at the wonderful bakery in the main ‘square’. Nikolas recommended several tavernas within 5 minutes drive. All were excellent with traditional food at great prices. We would definitely recommend.

We had a great stay. The co-Host Rea was super responsive and the views were great as you can see in the pictures. The flat was clean and has a spaciuos balcony. On premises parking was not possible, but there are parking possibilities next to the road. The place is quite remote, no supermarkets or restaurants nearby, a car is needed. All in all we can recomment to stay here!

Wonderful location. Lively apartment. Only warning is - be prepared for lots of stairs! This is essentially a 4 floor apartment, with bathroom at the entrance floor and bedrooms on the 3rd. Equipment is top notch and the view is fantastic. Would highly recommend

We loved our stay in Elounda, lots to explore nearby in plaka and ayios nicholaos. Alex’s apartment is a lovely space and great to work from remotely if you’re single and traveling. The BEST restaurant in Crete is 18 min drive in the village of Kroustos called Taverna Stavrakakis! Definitely go there

The apartment is very centrally located in the village, on foot you are less than 10 minutes away from the beautiful, somewhat crowded sandy beach; or the beautiful natural beach with stone sand, trees and palm trees; Chris is a super good host, always there when you need him and yet you had your privacy. We'd love to come back

Everything is very well maintained - the location within walking distance of the beach is unbeatable. Friendly welcome from the hostess, highly recommended!

This place is amazing. When I come back to Agios I will be staying here! Clean, location, and amazing hosts. Can’t recommend anywhere else to stay!

We loved our stay! The apartment is located just on top of the Taverna and about 15 meters from the beach. Within 5 minutes walk there is also a yoga location offering amazing drop in classes. From the moment we drove into the town we were warmly greeted by the lambros family. We spent the next 5 days at the beach and taverna relaxing. It was a great experience and we truly felt part of the local community for the short period we stayed. I highly recommend it if you want to relax and do less rather than more! The apartment is spacious and provides all you need for your stay, including a washing machine. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of space to chill.

Thanks to Dimitri's helpful tips and advice, we were able to enjoy our 10 days of vacation. The small apartment had everything for a nice stay. We really liked the very quiet environment and the proximity to your own beach and garden. Dimitris has supported us very well in all matters. We were very happy about the gifts we received.
