Pet-friendly holiday rentals in LaSalle County

This place has a million excellent reviews, and for good reason. Its clean, cozy, and very simple, and everything is as described. Excellent communication with Joel and he was very accommodating. If you need a cost effective, clean, somewhat private place to stay, this place is perfect.

The place was very clean and exactly like the pictures - no surprises, which I really appreciated. The neighborhood is beautiful, with gorgeous architecture that was an unexpected bonus and made walks around the area very enjoyable. The only downside was the couch in the living room, which had a strong dog smell. Since the place is pet-friendly, it's understandable, but still a bit unpleasant. Other than that, everything was neat, comfortable, and well-kept. I would definitely recommend it - especially for pet owners!

The place was exactly what we were looking for, to get away and do some spring hiking. Vanessa was great with communication.

Very cute, clean and comfortable! Had everything we needed. Love the location-very close to Starved Rock and Matthiessen which was our reason to be in Ottawa. Hosts sent a guide of things to do in the area and now we plan to come back! Loved the information they provided. Excellent communication and instructions. Highly recommend!

Lovely home that met all our needs. Will stay again

Along with our daughters and three grandchildren, we enjoyed the "Blue House" very much! The toys, games, and backyard playground were so fun for the 4- and 7-year old to explore. Easy access to Casey's convenience store for breakfast items and other essentials was great, too. Jared was a very responsive and helpful host. We appreciated the hospitality!

We had a great stay! Having family meals without going out was a plus. Very quiet and peaceful! The fire pit and huge back yard was nice. Easy check in and the host always made sure we were happy. Highly recommend.

I do not have enough nice things to say about this house. Not only was it beautiful, but it was tastefully decorated, impeccably clean, and comfortably spacious. All the amenities for comfort living were provided, and the surrounding environment was so quaint and wholesome. Before we left we already started to plan our next visit here. Highly recommended, easy check in and out, and excellent communication from Richard and staff. Five stars all around on this one, highly recommended

This is my 3rd family get-away to Heritage Harbor, and as usual it did not disappoint. The home was absolutely beautiful, with a few extra amenities that we did not expect. The view of the River, and even the Marina from the front of the house, was just beautiful. Cozy fireplace, well equipped kitchen, pristine bathrooms. The host and entire Heritage Harbor staff are so responsive and friendly. I highly recommend this beautiful home. Don't second guess it!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is in a quiet, pet friendly neighborhood with lovely views of the river. Everything we needed was provided and we liked the layout of the house. Regarding sleeping accommodations, there are beds for 6 people (2 queens with twin bunks above each) and additional sleeping options are provided via a pull-out sofa and 2 futons.

Fabulous. Probably one of our favorite places. Great home - we love the two story for a family with the master upstairs and the game room down so the kids and adults have their own space. We left some clothes behind and they went out of their way to get them back to us for. Minimal charge. We will definitely be back. Only downer was the walk to parking in the 10 degree wind! Amazing. 10 star!!!

We come from Chicago a couple times a year to hike at Starved Rock, Matthiesen, etc, so we thought we would try staying for a full weekend. This place was the perfect fit. It was pet friendly, so our dog could come along, and it had great amenities at the resort. The staff was very responsive and easy to communicate with.

Great little house! Thank you to Matt and Stephanie for making us feel at home while we travel for work. The neighborhood is quiet and Over all great communication from the host. Definitely worth the pricing and location!

Cozy home in a walkable area! I found it comfortable and an easy drive to local parks, like Starved Rock. My RAV4 pulled into the steep drive without issue and local trains weren't disturbing. Would return!

Was an amazing house one of the best I have ever rented

Very clean and close to plenty of restaurants down town. I will gladly stay there again when I am in town for work. This was way better than staying at a hotel and the owners were very accommodating.

We stayed at Elaine's place for a girls hiking trip. The house was exactly as described and had everything we needed. The neighborhood was quit and peaceful. The location was just a short drive to Starved Rock State Park. The beds were comfortable after a day of exploring. The private backyard was very nice. We especially enjoyed the fire pit. I wouldn't hesitate to book this property again!

We booked Joe’s place last minute for Easter weekend so we could celebrate with family. This was one of the only listings that allowed pets so we really appreciated that and it was very clean and beautiful inside! The home has a studio set up but it felt roomy enough for even our 3 dogs and 2 babies! There is another home behind the main house which we were aware of from reading reviews but the other people staying kept to themselves as did we and we were only there for a short time anyway. Joe was very kind and accommodating to our requests. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Great location in Ottawa, short drives to Buffalo Rock and Starved Rock state parks. The themed rooms were so much fun for our whole family!
