We were greeted by Lucille , who spoke perfect English and Monsieur . We were shown all about the house, how to operate the jacuzzi and given excellent recommendations for the area. The booklet was invaluable particularly for village market days. The house is so attractively deco and so comfortable with everything you need to make your stay troubles free and relaxing. As we are from Australia we loved cooking outside on the BBQ. Being supplied with wraps for the jacuzzi was much appreciated as was the jacuzzi after climbing lots of steps visiting the castles. Our hosts all came to farewell us which was a lovely friendly touch. We thank you all for your lovely home and generous spirit of welcome. This is an excellent Perigord base and we strongly recommend it.

i think I've never rented such a clean place and what a pleasure! The house matches the description and even better than the photos. The kitchen equipment is top notch. We felt right at home and it's not easy! Quiet house but shops are 5 minutes away by car. We found the hot tub nice to spend the new year. Thanks to Pauline for his availability and hospitality. Relaxing and refreshing family stay. Do it again in summer for this time to take advantage of the swimming pool.

⸻ Great stay at this great place! The place is particularly peaceful, perfect for resting and recharging. The accommodation is very functional, well arranged and decorated with great taste. Nothing is missing for a pleasant stay, everything is designed for the comfort of travelers. It immediately feels like home. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for calm and serenity.

we were driving to our holiday in spain and only stayed 1 night but we loved it. swimming pool was a bonus, didn't use the spa but it looked so good. we want to come back for a few days and make use of the facilities and explore the area. a very friendly host who is professional, and very warm and likeable. would definitely recommend it to others. just to note, the bedroom is downstairs, I was a little worried it was upstairs at the mezzanine level with the bathroom downstairs but when we arrived the bedroom and bathroom were downstairs. loved it.

1 small weekend spent with friends. Great welcome from louis with a place as described. 1 peaceful place to unwind. There is nothing missing, I recommend it.

Sophie and Craig were the perfect hosts, they were so friendly and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. There was a welcoming (and much appreciated) basket of goodies waiting for us on our arrival and a bottle of wine in the fridge. The gite was just as described and the perfect place to unwind. Lovely views throughout the meadow and surrounding area, the natural pool was a delight. The chickens provided fresh eggs for breakfast and the dogs, Roo and Ted are adorable. It couldn't be better. The house is simply fantastically located in the middle of nature. It is so quiet that with the chirping of the birds and the rippling of the small waterfall, it falls asleep and wakes up. The house itself has everything you need and is very nicely furnished. And Anthony is a great host where you can tell that he cares about the well-being of his guests. He welcomed us warmly and explained everything we needed to know - both to the house and the surrounding area. If we come back to the area, be sure to come here!

Julian’s place was most peaceful and relaxing. We stayed a week but could have stayed longer. We had all the amenities we wanted and feel that the gite is very good value for money. The weather was unseasonably cool, but we still enjoyed swimming in the unheated pool. There are two outdoor spaces which we used each day. For cooler weather there is a substantial wood burner.

We were very well received by Ruth. The photos of the accommodation match exactly. The cottage is really quiet! If 5 cars passed during our 3-day stay, that's a lot! It's a change of scenery. The hosts will be happy to show you their animals (goats, horses, cows, etc.) In short, we had a great stay at the farm :)

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome by Martin and Joanne. Lovely generous welcome gifts. Gite is pristine and has everything required and more. Linen and towels all good quality and also plenty supplied. Pool is fabulous and in such a private and pretty setting. We would love to come back in the near future. It is clear that Joanne and Martin work very hard to ensure their guests have the best experience.

Second stay in this beautifully decorated, comfortable and peaceful home. Beautiful terrace very well furnished. We will come back!

A very nice cottage with the great owners Lydie and Samuel The cottage is quietly located in a beautiful area. Everything you need is present in the cottage. There is a large garden around with a swimming pool and a nice pergola to eat under. Lots of children's toys. There was even coffee, tea, sugar, etc. present. In the fridge were eggs from their own chickens and homemade jam! Lydie and Samuel have thought of everything. They remain modest in the background but are ready to help if necessary. Restaurants and shops are close by. Had a great week with the three of us. Thank you Lydie and Samuel!!

The airbnb matched the photos and description perfectly! It was warm, comfortable and decorated with taste. The guide to nearby activities and restaurants helped make our stay even more enjoyable. I wholeheartedly recommend this place and their hosts!

My stay at le Moulin was fantastic! The home was beautiful and comfortable. The host was friendly and attentive. Not much in the town, but it is so close to Cognac and Angoulême. Plus lots of day trips nearby. I would definitely stay there again!

holiday experience was great from start to finish very helpful hosts and set in a very scenic area which was close to the major attractions in the area whether you wanted to explore grottos or chateaus / castles or scenic towns all were within easy reach. welcomed and shown around the property and shown and explained all we needed to know , the use of bikes - bike path right next to property close to villages of les Eyzies and le Bugue 2 person kayak right next to river Vezere - very relaxing paddle on the river not to be missed out. pool area was great and heated with lovely gardens and lots of areas to sit with your morning coffee badminton net and rackets supplied your own barbecue area and every utensil for barbecue or kitchen was supplied first experience with air bnb and the hosts went above and beyond what we expected very pleased many thanks for having us David & Caroline

We had a wonderful weekend in this lovely little house, very well decorated, a very cute private garden, and a beautiful common garden, superbly maintained. Small quiet hamlet, where we can enjoy the calm, and the birdsong. We lacked nothing, we were happy. It is also very pleasant to discuss with Jérémy. We'll be there again☺️.
