The accommodation was perfect, great location, close to walks, activities, historic sites and shops. There is a lakeside bar a short walk away. Views from the house looking out to Lake Scanno and the mountains are spectacular! Great hosts, very responsive. Vincenzo and Tracey were incredible hosts for us adults and our toddlers. Their hospitality, top notch! The home and views will truly leave you breathless. If you like the countryside, this is the place to be. Beautiful Pineto beach is just 30 mins away. Lovely wineries within 30 - 45 mins. If you appreciate nature and beautiful mountain drives + going to the beach, you’ve found it. 💕🙏

Davide was a very nice, kind, helpful and really caring host. The house is nice (nomen omen!) and we had a great night's sleep. Convenient location between Rieti and L’Aquila.

Our stay at Ellen and Gustav’s place will forever stay in our hearts. It was a transformative vacation, so much so that we now dream of creating something similar ourselves, someday, somewhere. The atmosphere, the energy, the style, the history, and the love that have been poured into this place are perfectly blended, making everything feel natural and special. Of course, there are small things that could be improved, but they are nothing compared to the immense sense of peace and well-being that the house and its surroundings provide. Every corner, every piece of furniture, every view, the silence, the beauty of the night atmosphere, everything spoke to us deeply. A heartfelt thank you also to Bice, the co-host, who welcomed us warmly and was always available and kind. We truly carry this place in our hearts and minds. Really great stay! The hospitality, promptness, location, and cleanliness were impeccable. But the real strength was the great flexibility, especially for check-in and check-out, which has allowed me to better manage work commitments without stress. Highly recommended!

Impeccable stay. Really a house that is small but well maintained and with all the necessary comforts. One slightly uncomfortable thing, but you get used to it, is the bathroom that is small for a person over 1.70m. For the rest, everything is really taken care of in detail. Easy to reach, convenient parking. Warm and well-structured apartment. Thanks to the host Serena who was really courteous, helpful and always responsive to every message. We'll definitely be back!

Casa Candida is set in a fabulous landscape. I have always wanted to visit this part of Abruzzo and this was the accommodation of my dreams. Its features quickly made it "home". It was our starting point for unforgettable excursions for a week. Nearby, 15/20 minutes by car, the Piana del Voltigno, with free horses, the shepherd Pasquale, a dream environment and landscape. And then off you go, every day a different destination: Campo Imperatore, Rocca Calascio, Santo Stefano di Sessanio, Bominaco, Navelli, the Tirino river, the Gole de Sagittario and Scanno, L'Aquila, the Sanctuary of Ienca, and finally Amatrice. So many cars, but also so many steps with beauty before your eyes. And in the darkness and silence of the evening/night, go out for the last walk with the dog and see the signs of the passage of the flocks. These places have been a holiday for us, in search of a beauty that is not easy, that must be earned. Thank you Nadia, thank you Casa Candida.

Lovely peaceful setting with great pool and terrace area provided everything we needed for a home from home holiday. The only negative thing was a lack of microwave. The house was well stocked with things like toilet rolls and cleaning products and we were given a lovely welcome basket of locally produced food items, wine and beers and even a delicious cake made by the host. During our stay we needed to contact the host and they responded quickly. The gardens were very well maintained and totally private with automatic gates. The road leading up to the house is very steep so a powerful car is needed but all in all we had a great holiday.

Very nice property located in a quiet, spacious area that can accommodate a large group of friends or family. Very clean and close to all amenities. A car is necessary to be able to move around. We really enjoyed our stay at Raffaella's.

Nice accommodation with all necessary facilities, a big garden and a magnificent pool. Located in a quiet area with superb views on the surrounding mountains. We truly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it.

It is a somewhat dated apartment in a very quiet vacation complex. The location is strategic because in a few minutes you can reach the center (with a very safe cycle pedestrian road) but also leave for various excursions or for skiing. The house is comfortable and very clean with everything you need. I was impressed by the kitchen very well stocked with all the utensils, which is not obvious. The bathroom is also clean and functional. The heating works perfectly and the hot water also gave us no problems despite having 7 showers in a row. Last is the spectacular view from the balcony. Highly recommended!

Fantastically beautiful location in the mountains, beautiful pool and good functional furnishings. You just have to be aware that it is a very quiet place and you have to drive at least 30 minutes to 2 hours for excursions or the like, which was completely ok for us. Angelo is a great host, we would come back anytime.

We are still in awe! The place! The atmosphere there! The hosts! We would like to especially thank Gino & Teresa for being sooo welcoming and helpful and helping us have the real authentic Abruzzo experience! They gave us everything we needed for the baby. The place was totally private and only for us, could enjoy being by the pool and enjoy the view to the max. The house is also absolutely beautiful! So simplistic yet well equipped and spotlessly clean! Only felt that a console table of some sort was a bit missing from the entry (to put our keys and small bags and stuff), and also a small table by the pool would have been really handy 😄 Otherwise, really, everything was spot on perfect! It’s like a dream being there! And the outside kitchen area with real stone sink and barbecue area… fantastic! And ohh the donkeys! Our baby loved watching them ☺️ Definitely recommend the place & the hosts! Loved it!

The stay was perfect in every way! The apartment was exactly as described, ideal for a family of 4. The location was convenient for reaching the start of the itinerary that leads to the Rascino Plateau. Reno and Elisabetta were very kind and helpful: in addition to the 0-km welcome sweets, they provided us with useful information on what to visit, where to eat and made sure that we did not miss anything throughout the stay. I recommend this accommodation to anyone who wants to spend a few days in the area. I will definitely be back!

Beautiful cottage recently renovated with taste and great attention, Maurizio's house offers a corner of tranquility surrounded by greenery, with a large and fantastic veranda overlooking a quiet olive grove and the wooded hills all around. The proximity to the Host's home is an asset as, since Maurizio is always available, he can help with any questions and recommend activities, places to visit and excursions to do. Highly recommended for those who need to get away from the chaos of the city and breathe healthy good air at the foot of the Apennines. Everything is wonderful, we hope to return soon!
