Footbridge Farm is a quiet country get-away located on 90 wooded acres, 15 miles NE of Decorah. We are close to the mouth of Canoe Creek, the Upper Iowa River and adjacent to state DNR land. The cozy owner-built cabin has an open ceiling with exposed beams and rafters giving a sense of spaciousness. Local stone was used in the exterior walls and the floor-to-ceiling fire back behind the wood-burning stove. The floors are oak and slate. Detailed craftsmanship can be found throughout the cabin.

Charming little park model No cleaning fee

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Charming little park model off the beaten path but easy drive to town. Creek access , stocked ponds, catch and release, fire pit with one free bundle of firewood a night. Relaxing river view from the front porch and dining room was the star of the show. Nice clean cabin. Convenient location for visiting family in the area. Adding Wi-Fi would be a nice addition, although we could get spotty cell phone/hot spot connectivity from the porch/dining room to make do. Would consider renting again.

Fantastic listing! location is private and beautiful. the views are amazing. Stocked with every amenity you could possibly need! very cozy and easy to settle in. 20min from Blackhawk county Park, 40min from Viroqua, right off beautiful scenic 35 going along the Mississippi!

We had a very nice stay- and we loved our view from our deck overlooking the Mississippi. It was not too far from Lacrosse so we could go hiking there for the day or go to Prairie du chien for golf or shopping.
