Jackie and Rodney's were warm and welcoming hosts, and their place is a little piece of paradise... the view, the deck, the outdoor kitchen area (with hot tub) and even the beautifully kept grounds made for an incredible stay. Close to many spectacular natural places if you like to hike, and nice and quiet for when you want to lay back and relax. I highly recommend booking with them and hope to return again one day soon!

We had an amazing stay at Melanie & Don’s place! The home was clean, cozy, and exactly as described( actually more than they did). Melanie and Don were incredibly welcoming, responsive, and made sure everything was perfect for our visit. Their thoughtful touches and attention to detail truly made us feel at home. This was my second stay at this venue and I already knew what to expect this second time and it certainly didn't disappoint. Liza is great and I appreciated the quick responsiveness and clarity of the answers to any questions that arose during both visits. Actually Liza was out of town for this visit but the house sitter Sue who she used was always right on top of things as well. It was very comforting to know Liza has an excellent back up in the event of her absence for any reason. As far as the amenities are concerned the high points of the place are the wood fired sauna, hot tub, piece and quiet and great view from the porch. The hike up Mt. Grant Preserve is really convenient and offers a great view from the top. I highly recommend this place.

We loved staying here. The house is great. The front porch, the side deck with grill and sun chairs and outdoor dining is great. The dock on the water is fabulous. Any specific questions or issues were addressed immediately. Its a really lovely spot. You can't do better on Shawnigan Lake!

Sky House exceeded our expectations in every way! Stunning, private location with incredible views of the water and forest. The house provided a lot of sleeping options and we enjoyed the pool table and board games. Close to hikes and trails and just a 45-minute drive from Victoria. A truly ideal, secluded vacation getaway in a gorgeous area of Vancouver Island.

Fantastic stay! Perfect for 1-2 people. Quiet. Peaceful. Clamping is a good word for it but don’t let that fool you: the toilet and shower are NICE. Would love to stay here again. Highly recommend?

Scott and Kim are lovely hosts and the little house is absolutely charming and comfortable, with thoughtful touches throughout. At the right time of year in this idyllic setting you'll wake to birdsong and tuck in to the muted chorus of frogs. A wonderful base for exploring San Juan Island or perfectly situated for the annual Lakedale Triathlon. We hope to return.

Jacky was incredible! Super kind and caring. She brought samosas that were delicious. The place was super cool and the sleeps were the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommend.

We loved this gem of a cabin in the woods in East Sooke. The hosts thought of everything and the place was in fabulous condition, and was an experience in its own. We spent time in Sooke, whale watching, hiking and exploring. Unwinding in this cabin retreat made for the perfect holiday. The cabin was comfy, and every thing you need to cook and rest was included. Enjoying some time with the goats on site made our kids super happy as well. I would recommend this spot if you are traveling in Sooke! You won’t be disappointed.

Very clean, quiet, spacious, peaceful, and the hosts were very accommodating and friendly. The kitchen, bathroom and living room were fully equipped and stocked with what we needed. The beds were very clean and comfortable. Having a private BBQ and outdoor seating area and swing was also a nice bonus !! we saw tons of birds and deer that even came into the yard. very cool. The private suite is in a great location for visiting sooke, and a short drive to the beautiful Juan de fuca beaches and hikes. very great value for the place, we all agreed that we would stay here again!

Our stay was awesome! As soon as we entered the home, it felt fresh and positive. The place was peaceful with no disturbances, and the view was really nice. The home is beautifully decorated and felt very safe throughout our stay. Everything was super clean, and the kitchen had all the necessary utensils. The host provided clear instructions for everything, so we had no issues at all. I truly enjoyed my time here—it was absolutely worth it! We also visited Tower Point nearby to watch the sunset by the sea—it was beautiful and just added to the experience. While the place is around 30–40 minutes from downtown, there's a Superstore just 10 minutes away by car, which was super convenient.

We had a wonderful 5-night stay at Poirier Cove. The location is magnificent, right on the seafront. We saw eagles, seals, lots of small birds - even a hummingbird. There are lots of lovely provincial parks nearby with great walks. We particularly enjoyed walking on the Galloping Goose trail to the Todd Creek trestle bridge. Corinne was very helpful and friendly. The cottage was comfortable with huge windows looking over the sea to snow-capped mountains in the USA.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Kelly’s suite by the sea! The space was even better than we expected - appears to be recently renovated with modern finishes, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. Kelly was super responsive, helpful, and genuinely accommodating throughout our stay. The location was great, I would 100% stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, hassle-free stay!

This was one of the most beautiful and comfortable places we’ve stayed via Airbnb. The home is beautifully provisioned and the yard is fantastic. We loved sitting out back listening to the bubbling water and birds singing. The hosts were friendly and thoughtful. We would definitely choose again and highly recommend.

What a great spot! Nestled in the woods in a peaceful and quiet setting this place is truly one-of-a-kind. The house is very unique with lots of character that sets it apart from the usual stays. It was clean and had all we needed. Our host Gramma Rikki was exceptionally warm and welcoming. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate, and we could not take advantage of all the outdoor spaces and amenities. We played pool, sat by the cozy fire and did some island exploring by car. All in all it was a very enjoyable and relaxing getaway despite the crummy weather. We hope to return one day and experience everything this wonderful place has to offer.

This was a great airbnb. My husband and I were in town for a wedding and wanted some extra space vs. a hotel room. For less money we had a whole suite to ourselves, with room to lounge, eat, cook, etc. the location was great, suite was well stocked with cutlery, glasses, and everything we needed, and the TV had all the streaming services installed. The instructions for check in were exceptional.

Lorie was incredibly accomodating and helpful thorughout the whole process. Would highly recommend her unit, second time back and will return.

This is a great place to stay to be next to downtown Victoria. It’s as advertised in the listing’s description and photos. There’s plenty of room for a couple and everything is in good condition. Washroom facilities, washer/dryer units, and wifi all worked well. We did not use any of the cooking appliances. The location is walkable to plenty of restaurants/bars in the area. We were comfortable and felt safe walking around at night; we did not have any issues with noise. Agata is a great host! Her instructions made check-in and check-out super easy. She responded within minutes anytime I messaged her. Overall, I would highly recommend this place, especially for couples, if you want to be next to downtown Victoria.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this apartment building in Victoria. Everything was clean, well maintained, and very comfortable. We loved the view from our balcony of the bay and Fisherman’s Warf, the walkable location to downtown Victoria, and the option for a Water Taxi right next to the building. Parking the car in the garage at no additional cost was a beneficial convenience as well. We would definitely stay here again, and would recommend this airbnb to others.

Derek’s place was very clean and cozy. It was very welcoming and we felt like home when we stayed at his place. My family were very comfortable while staying there and Derek was also easy to communicate wiith. Overall we had a wonderful time.

We loved staying at Deanna’s. The resort was excellent and the kids had a blast. Lots of games in the unit, kitchen was well equipped for 2 adults and 3 kids under 12. Beach was great and when it rained, the heated indoor pool and games room was amazing!
