House holiday rentals in Lancaster

Lynda is a brilliant host and had tea, coffee, milk and fruits ready for us before we arrived. The place was very clean and felt like home. Kids loved the place and the board games. The icing on the cake is the location as, it is next to Ocean edge. She responded promptly for any questions we had. We have enjoyed our stay here and will definitely return back if we visit surrounding places. Thank you very much for hosting us Lynda, we had a great time.

The caravan we stayed at was lovely. We were welcomed with a box of chocolates which was a nice gesture and the kids were very excited about haha We had forgotten our phone chargers but luckily there was a charger at the caravan. The TV had netflix and there was WiFi available. The hosts local guide was brilliant and we did most things recommended including Williamson park, Lancaster castle, St Patrick's chapel at Heysham Head and Morecambe which we would highly recommend to others staying. We had taken our own t.bags, coffee, sauces etc but these were also left at the caravan so if people forgot things then they were available. Would stay here again :)

We had an amazing stay! The cottage was just as described and in the perfect location so we hardly had to use the car at all and were able to walk to Windermere, Bowness and Brockhole with our two girls ( 13 and 8). The use of the nearby pool was an added bonus after a day in the mountains. We’ll definitely be back! 😀

This place was beyond our expectations. Immaculately presented, super clean, tidy, jaw dropping views. I can't fault it in any way and I can't rate it highly enough. Will definately look to return in the future. Stunning!

The lodge was fabulous, really enjoyed our stay. I even picked up a couple of decor ideas. Had a lovely time feeding the ducks, swans and other wildlife, very relaxing. Shops and amenities easy to get to by car, lovely restaurants around the area. Would absolutely recommend.

House was as described, beautiful setting with wonderful views of the hills and mountains. Rooms are spacious with comfy beds and bathrooms are nicely finished with good showers. Kitchen is a good size and has all required implements. A great location for exploring the central lakes and soaking up all that Ambleside has to offer.

I'd stay at Jackie's place again whenever I next visit no question. Good price, and the place is exactly as she's described. And whenever I messaged her she always responded back to me within 30mins at most which is excellent

We absolutely loved John and Andrea’s house! The place was so clean and we loved the sun room and the bed and comforter was really nice and cozy! The location of your house is the best! This is a lovely old townhouse centrally located in Lancaster. The rooms are very spacious and the kitchen is a nice space to spend some time. The host, Anke, was very helpful as well. I would thoroughly recommend staying here.

Kizzie’s place is absolutely gorgeous and was perfect for my husband and I. Didn’t need the car at all and the centre is just a few minutes walk away. Lots of bars, cafes, restaurants to choose from and lovely little shops to browse in. We went to the cinema too which is a few minutes walk away and had a lot of character. Beautiful surroundings, lovely walks down the canal or sit in Kissie’s garden. Bed was so comfy and we slept so well. We will definitely visit again. Thank you!

We had a truly wonderful stay! The apartment was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and fully equipped with everything we needed. Our host was absolutely fantastic — kind, responsive, and incredibly accommodating to all our (very demanding!) requests. What really stood out was her kindness and willingness to help us when we encountered an issue with our rental car — she went above and beyond, and we’re so grateful. A true super host and a lovely person. Highly recommended!

We had a brilliant two-night stay at Natalie’s house. It was spacious, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable break. Natalie was an excellent host: friendly, attentive and full of helpful local restaurant recommendations. The location was ideal, just a short drive from the Lake District, so we could head out for walks and sightseeing each day without any hassle. All in all, a five-star experience from start to finish. We’d happily stay here again on our next trip

We had a wonderful stay! Communication was great from the start, and the home itself is absolutely beautiful, cosy, warm, and full of thoughtful touches that made it feel really special. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the shower was excellent too. Sarah, her husband, and Joey were so lovely and welcoming, and their gorgeous dog made us feel right at home. Highly recommend this stay, would love to come back!

We loved our stay here. This home was just as described. It was spotless, with great amenities. The immediate area was beautiful and the food at Peacock Inn was really good. The location was perfect for us as a peaceful base but with a short drive to other areas. Kirkby was walkable - but we drove as with my 80yr old mum who isn’t too mobile. Instructions were clear with great communication from the hosts.

Immaculately presented, comfortable and clean. Fabulous house in a peaceful street, walking distance to the station and centre of town. Great attention to detail with lots of welcome extras like toiletries, tea, coffee and milk, amazing water pressure in the walk in shower too! Lovely sunny courtyard with a table and chairs to enjoy a morning coffee or a wine at night. Claire was on hand if I needed anything but I didn’t as her instructions were very clear and everything worked. Throughly recommended this house for your stay in Lancaster 😀

We enjoyed the hospitality. Everything we needed was provided and even more. Fruits and a basic set of products for breakfast. Surprisingly, even shower gel and shampoos were provided. The house was warm and quiet.

It was easy to book and David promptly responded to the messages. Clear instructions were given for everything and were easy to check in. Everything was spotless and nicely organised. The house was beautifully decorated and well maintained. This place was the best Airbnb we stayed so far as it was complete with everything. We had certain bad experiences previously in other places but this one nothing to complain. Cozy and felt like home. Kitchen was complete with all the necessities. Rooms, bedding and bathroom was clean. Highly recommended and you won’t be disappointed with this place. Thank you so much David and keep up the good service. ☺️

This is such a peaceful and picturesque find. Cosy and comfortable with some beautiful walks nearby. Great outdoors spaces and some lovely places close by to visit.

The house is in a fantastic central location -close to shops, restaurants. The place was really clean and well looked after. We enjoyed the ample seating in the lounge and the coffee maker was excellent. Check-in was straightforward, and Calvin was always quick to respond to messages before our visit.

Highly recommend a stay with these amazing hosts. From providing an excellent airbnb service, to helping us through a broken down car. Highly accommodating hosts who truly care about their guests. Stunning place!

This is an absolutely wonderful little house, in beautiful condition. Clean, comfortable and homely, it even has plentiful toys, games and books which our 4yo was delighted by. It's within an easy walk of Morecambe prom, Morecambe town centre, Happy Mount Park, and a fish and chip shop. We would highly recommend staying here, and we hope to return one day soon. This is a lovely home very close to access the town, the lovely Wiliamsons Park and close for a nice summer walk and dinner along the canal. House is clean, comfortable and has everything you need. Samantha was a lovely responsive host.

Lovely place, really close the promenade. Everything as described. Felt very comfortable. Can definitely recommend.
