We stayed over Christmas, gorgeous house, didn’t need to use the car at all, very central location. Lyn was a great host, will definitely book again.

Great two day stay for our family of four. The place is right near Turf Moor in a clean and light area. The space is recently renovated and bright. And the host is very responsive to any needs that arise. Great stay. Thank you.

A beautiful house on a very quiet street but really close to local amenities and attractions. The house was furnished to a high standard and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The garden was lovely on a sunny day. We enjoyed exploring the local area and would definitely visit again.

We had a superb stay here! It’s absolutely pristine and beautifully done out inside and out. Could not fault a single thing. The views are beautiful and the stay was comfortable, they have all the modern (expensive) amenities. Would recommend this place to anybody.

5 Stars – A Wonderful Stay! I recently had the pleasure of staying at this lovely home near the Peak District, and it was everything it was described to be, and more! The house was beautifully maintained, spotlessly clean, and offered a real sense of comfort throughout. With 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, it provided plenty of space and added comfort for all of our guests, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Nestled in a quiet, welcoming neighbourhood, it was the perfect base for exploring the stunning surrounding countryside. The host was very nice and responsive, which made the whole experience even smoother and more enjoyable. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, and we truly felt at home. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and cozy getaway near the Peak District. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

Great flat in an ideal location. Really friendly and helpful hosts. The place was clean, well kept and provides some lovely sunset views!

Only stayed one night before a wedding we were going to the next day but was perfect for us. Ray even accommodated us with the check out time which we were extremely grateful for. If we need to stay in the area again we’d try booking here again. 🙂

The apartment was great for my stay whilst working in Southport.

Stayed here the night before my wedding and it was absolutely perfect - the bay windows in the living room let in the perfect lighting for my photos!

Firstly Jill was more them helpful leading up to our stay, the flat was perfect for us both and our two rottweilers we were close to the beach and other great walks near by, a few local parks as well...the flat was clean and tidy and had every thing we needed for our stay. I would definitely recommend as the flat is in a nice quiet close with friendly neighbours who all so helped point out local attractions. 10 out of 10.

Absolutely stunning cottage. Amazing location with beautiful views. Cottage was immaculate with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. We had a lovely short stay we used the games room which is a fabulous resource. Garstang is a short drive away if you want to eat out but to be honest if you want a quiet break in beautiful surroundings this is your place. We are already looking at returning next spring 🙂

Absolutely gorgeous place. Clean, beautiful. amazing location, all brand new. Really could not be better. Our only problem was with the communication of the agents that completely messed up our trip. If you communicate directly with Sianie you will have no problem.

Beautiful place to stay, stayed for 2 weeks, wished it could have been longer. It was perfect, tranquil and just what I needed.

Sam was an excellent host and his cottage was beautiful. The chickens greeted us on arrival and kept us company throughout our stay. We loved the hot tub and the accommodation had everything we needed. Thanks, Sam!

It was lovely to return to this delightful cottage, many years since our previous visit. It is even more charming than before. The cottage is so quaint and comfortable, and its position, at the end of a quiet lane, beside the nature reserve is unbeatable. And to be able to sit beside the peaceful lake, whatever time of day, is idyllic! We definitely won't wait another twenty years to return!

The lake house is absolutely stunning. Very open plan and spacious which we loved. Lovely view of the lake and very private. Cosy of a nighttime with the fire on. Was nicely heated. Never too hot or too cold. Had all the amenities we needed to cook. Hot tub was fabulous. The property was well looked after and extremely clean. We had a lovely welcome hamper which we appreciated so much! The only qualms we had was that the glasses were quite dirty so had to re wash those, there was a strange smell in the downstairs en suite bathroom when we arrived, it smelt like stale damp sewage, it improved slightly but never really went away. The bed was also extremely firm so back ached a lot in the morning (however that is personal preference, I do personally sleep on soft beds better) thank you for a wonderful stay. It really was beautiful! Xx
