Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Lancashire

Beautiful cottage, loved the decor, bigger inside than outside, absolutely loved it. Great view at the back of the historic cemetery. Very welcoming, cosy vibe. We will definitely be returning. Hosts are great at communicating. Fabulous find !!!

We stayed here for two months as we were visiting family close by. For a long term stay, we can say without a doubt we had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped with herbs, spices, dishes and a variety of cooking tools. The bathroom had plenty of amenities for use. Spare bedding for change over days. Laundry facilities. Comfy bed with large tv for chill evenings. My husband and I were happy to have a ‘home’ to come home to after days out and about. There were stores nearby (Asda,Lidl, Starbucks etc) for groceries. Walking distance too. The house was very clean and there was even lovely thoughtful items such as bread and milk for us when we got there. Communication was great. Messages with questions responded to in a matter of minutes. Very kind and thoughtful hosts.

Michelle's place was beautifully kept and thoughtfully designed, full of historic quirks and features. The facilities are great and there were some very generous extras provided, as well as all of the usual basics. She communicated very clearly before and throughout our stay, including very useful local tips. The location was great for a wander into Todmorden, including the local Aldi, as well as the train station, which we used for a little trip into Hebden Bridge. The only word of caution would be around the location of the place and/or the spiral staircase for the attic bedroom. They are part of what gives the location/house character but they may be tricky for some. Overall, I'd heartily recommend Michelle's place for anyone wanting to explore this area of Yorkshire.

We really enjoyed our time at Paula's cottage. The space was clean, peaceful and super comfortable with a great location. We'd absolutely recommend and would stay again!

The cottage was charming, impeccably presented and very comfortable. Everything has been carefully planned with the interest and convenience of guests in mind. The hosts were proactive, attentive and responsive. I couldn't fault it.

In this price bracket Katie's place is one of the nicest Airbnbs I've ever stayed in. Her home was beautifully kept, the amenities were all in great working order and the view.. just wow! For folks that are sensitive sleepers I would recommend taking ear plugs if sleeping in the bedroom at the front as the road is audible (not an issue for us though as we always travel with ear plugs). The back bedroom is countryside facing and peaceful & my son slept soundly in it ❤️ This was a perfect stay for us attending a local celebration in Clitheroe. Katie is a brilliant host and you can tell she is well practiced at AirBNBing her place out. Thanks Katie, will recommend to others! X

A fantastic experience from start to finish. The cottage is set in a beautiful rural setting with lots of great walks accessible without having to drive anywhere. There is a great local pub a 5 minute walk along the lane and plenty more a short hike away. Jim and Diane were the perfect hosts - respecting your privacy whilst always being available to answer any questions. The property was wonderful and perfectly set up for my elderly mother who has mobility issues - extremely comfortable with fantastic views of the surrounding fields and hills. We will definitely make a return visit in the future and thoroughly recommend this property for a relaxing holiday. Many thanks for a wonderful Easter break.

Great place, very quiet and peaceful. Beds comfortable. We stayed whilst going to a family wedding in the area. We would definitely recommend the place and stay again if we visit the area.

A lovely loft - perfect and just what we needed for our 2 day mini-break. The loft was much bigger than we anticipated so that was a lovely surprise. The little touches were great too - fresh towels, milk, butter, instructions for the hot tub, even some jigsaws for the rainy afternoon. Everything we needed. The outdoor space was so peaceful. Even though we were on the farm’s property, we felt right at home, comfortable and had the privacy we wanted. The neighbours were adorable - cows and their calves! The outdoor space was secure for our two dogs. Plenty of room for them to stretch their legs and play on the grass. Thanks for a great stay!

Reluctantly left after a fantastic two-night stay at the Rossendale Cottages. We’d stayed in this beautiful & spacious studio accommodation and absolutely loved it. The staff are fantastic and were so kind throughout. The area is lovely & the walks nearby are great fun - especially to the singing tree! The bed was comfy, food yummy & hosts were gracious and lovely. I’d love to come back!

Great stay! Celebrating friend’s birthday and Jonathan was super helpful with us having amazon packages and decorations delivered the day before we arrived. Gorgeous and spacious flat, felt right at home!

Beautiful location with stunning views over the countryside. Comfortable furnishings and relaxing place to rest our heads as we spent most of our days out and about for work. Colin was very responsive to messages and very helpful, before and during our stay. A great base to explore the local area.

We had a great stay at Marshall's place. The flat is comfortable and equipped with everything one would need for a short stay! There is a local store very close to the flat and there is also a local pub super close by! When and if we had questions, Marshall was also very quick to answer and this made is so easy! Would 10/10 recommend!

We stayed in the lovely highland cow bothy for two nights. The hottub was ready for our arrival, the view was perfect and it was very peaceful. The cabin was clean and spacious with a good hot shower. We ordered the birthday package and the cupcakes were incredible! Would recommend this Airbnb as a perfect, peaceful retreat. The host was responsive and helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay, shame it wasn't for longer! The cabin was warm, cosy & comfortable & well equipped for it's size. Having a BBQ & fire pit was a great addition which we loved. We would definitely stay again & recommend.

Really enjoyed our stay, the views of the lake was peaceful and calming. Only advice I would say is make sure to bring bug spray as once it starts getting dark they’re out in force. But that’s not a complaint as we still loved our stay

The lodge was in a beautiful location over looking the lake. It instantly felt so homely and was well equipped with everything you’d need and more; down to the paddle boards and life jackets Charlotte allows guests to use on their stay. Charlotte was a fantastic host and send me a lengthy email weeks before hand with useful information. great tips, places to visit and more. I would definitely love to return to the lodge again soon.
