Perfect getaway and a perfect location to get to know Elkader with it’s coffee shops, antique mall, shops, opera house and beautiful Turkey River. Property was homesteaded in 1841 and sits directly across from the courthouse and looks over the famous Keystone Bridge and downtown. Come stay awhile. ***NOTE: Because we are located across from the court house the clock tower bells can be heard from our location. Main part of the house is our residence, Airb&b has separate entrance on the side.

Our cozy home is centrally located in Dyersville, IA, home of the Field of Dreams. Our house is newly remodeled and ready to host. We offer 2 beds/ 1 bath and a sofa sleeper. Our little home is perfect for a weekend getaway or a weeklong business trip stay. We are minutes and walking distance from downtown Dyersville where you can find many shops, restaurants, bars and walking/biking trails. We are located 4 miles from the famous Field of Dreams site and walking distance to city parks.

Authentic 19' grain bin has a loft with 2 full-size beds, comfy living space with A/C, bathroom with 3'x5' shower, kitchenette, vaulted ceiling. WiFi available but you’re basically inside a tin can in a cornfield so reception is NOT GREAT (hence NO TV.) A gas grill, picnic table & 4 Adirondack chairs surround your fire pit. All on the grounds of a winery & vineyard surrounded by 300 acres of corn! Volga Lake State Rec Area adjacent w/a lake for paddling, fishing, & miles of trails.

It's truly a gift to be able to share my home with others and we look forward to accommodating travelers from all stages of life. For a while, “hot water” was listed as something that was “unavailable”; this is not the case. The house is fully equipped with hot water
