Within walking distance to historic district and a quaint city center, reminiscent of small town America. Many varied restaurants in all price ranges. Numerous antique stores, gift shops and art studios within walking distance. Celebrate Orange International Street Fair over Labor Day weekend, visit Chapman University, close to professional stadiums (LA Angel's and Anaheim Ducks), Anaheim Convention Center, Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, Newport Beach, and Balboa Island. Los Angeles and Hollywood with all their attractions just 35 miles away. Palm Springs is a little over an hour from here and San Diego is usually a three hour drive. John Wayne Airport is about 15 minutes by car, Ontario airport and LAX about an hour away. You'll find a basket of attraction brochures and local restaurant menus in your room. With so much to do and see, you'll have to come back again and again! Orange County Transit Authority (OCTA) bus stops nearby on Tustin Avenue. The train station serving Amtrack and Metrolink, is approximately 1 mile away. Take the train to San Clemente Beach or the mission at San Juan Capistrano for a lovely day trip! Within a mile, or walking distance there are hundreds of restaurants, farm animals, parks, shops, haircut, churches, carwash, rental car, ice cream, and much more! Custom Craftsman With Hot Tub Close to Ocean

Pass through the electronic gate and private entrance and indulge in the complimentary snacks on the fold-out leaf table. Fine interior touches include antique heirloom artwork and a serving tray, while outside 2-level seating and a fire pit await. We follow rigorous cleaning and sanitizing protocols from the CDC during COVID-19. We ventilate rooms, wash hands frequently, wear gloves, clean, then disinfect with bleach or 70% alcohol. Our cleaning crew focuses on frequently touches surfaces, incl light switches, doorknobs, remote controls, and faucets, and wash all linens at highest heat. Attention to detail prevails throughout the apartment. The craftsman style space includes custom cabinets, high/vaulted ceilings, granite counter tops and walk-in closet. Established trees can be viewed from the master bedroom picture window and private deck which gives the space a tree house effect. The space can comfortably fit up to 4 guests. We will provide a variety of organic breakfast items including coffee, orange juice, milk, cream, half & half, cereal, fruit, yogurt and breads/pastries. Wine will be available upon request. Guests have an electronic gate and their own private entrance.Guests have access to their own deck, complete kitchen and laundry facilities. Interaction with guests will be kept to a minimum in order to respect their privacy, however, we will be happy to assist any way possible to provide a great experience. We live in a separate location on site so we will be present during the guests stay. We love our neighborhood! There are a variety of farmer's markets and in the summer local concerts in the park. There is public transportation (buses) nearby. There is plenty of street parking. We are conveniently located between LAX (25 minutes), Orange County (SNA) Airport (20 minutes) and Long Beach Airport (10 minutes). PLEASE BE AWARE OF STREET SWEEPING DAYS!! This private 500 sq. ft. studio apartment is the perfect place for a weekend getaway. In addition to the living space, there is a kitchen (see appliances below), large walk in closet, undercover porch and outside fireplace. This space comfortably fits 3 people, if you are happy to use the Milliard memory foam tri-fold mattress. If needing to do washing, a coin laundromat is .3 miles away from our home. Kitchen Appliances: Stove, Microwave, Toaster, Kettle, French Press, Nespresso, Aeroccino Milk Frother, NutriBullet and Soma filtered water jug. Amenities… Hairdryer, wifi, flat screen, TV with Netflix and Directv Now, full length mirror Guest will have full access to the studio apartment, yard, porch and fireplace. I like to meet guests upon arrival to give access and a tour of the property, but sometimes this is not possible. My husband and I live in the main house and are available to offer any advice on local attractions. The den sits behind the main house In Altadena, a short drive from good coffee shops and restaurants. It's accessible enough to explore the many eclectic neighborhoods of LA. There are numerous neighborhood trails that are great for walking. Although public transportation is available, the closest bus and Gold Line stop are about 1-mile away. We highly recommend having a vehicle to drive, but if in doubt, Uber! There is a designated parking spot on our property for you, and there is plenty of street parking (no restrictions, no tickets)!
