House holiday rentals in Lakeside Marblehead

This is my friends' and my second time staying at Marsha's. Once again we had a tremendous time and the stay was pleasant from start to finish. Marsha's communicates clearly and proactively.

We truly enjoyed the stay. Very thankful for their attention to detail and providing a great place to stay. We are looking forward to a return visit.

I stayed in this exact cottage as a kid and into my teen years (before the back space with w/d and extra bathroom was added). It has since changed owners many times, but man, I wish Brian had had this property all along! Fantastically helpful, check in and check out was a breeze, the place is equipped for everything you need to have fun as a fam (bikes, tennis rackets, scooters, pickleball paddles ...), the space was super functional, and the location is *chef's kiss*. No notes! 10/10. I can't wait for 2026 availability to drop so we can book 423 Cherry again (for the 21st summer!!).

Awesome location! Right on the water with a beautiful view. We loved that there was the option to swim at the beach and the pool. The location was also really great! We walked to get dinner, grab some drinks, to watch the sunset at Docks next door. The Jet Express is right next door too, so we took the ferry over to Put-In-bay for a day. This was a great weekend getaway stay!

We love our stay at the Golden Home! Exceeded our expectations in many ways. Having never been to Lakeside before we didn’t know what to expect, but I can’t imagine it getting much better than this rental. Good amount of space, ample places to sleep, convenient to everything in the community. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to come back!

This place is a must stay! It is located in a cute little neighbor hood, but is close to the highway. We went to Cedar Point and Put-N-Bay which was a really easy 20-30 minute drive. When we weren't out and about, we were swimming in the pool or relaxing in the hot tub. Both are surrounded by tall trees and beautiful landscaping. Everything was clean and appeared to be brand new. The host were very helpful in providing information about the location that we would not have known.

We had a nice stay at Baypoint, The golf cart was key to have to go over to Bay Point amenities. The parking is tight when you have a truck, but we made it worked. The workout room and sauna was very nice.

wonderful stay! We really enjoyed our time here. Great pool (and tons of pool toys!) kept our kids busy when we weren't outgoing the tourist thing. Beds were comfortable, kitchen and bathrooms were spotless and all the amenities were taken care of. Literally the only downsides to this place were the sound of the train that goes all hours of the night and the fact that it was situated on a main thoroughfare so finding a place to go walking or running was tough unless we wanted to drive the 10 mins to the cute town of Vermillion. Very responsive host and we will definitely stay here again!

Bette than advertised. We stayed here for a fishing trip, we had 4 large boats and pickups. Albert let us park in the grass as needed. There was adequate outlets to charge our boat batteries at night and the garage space was excellent for the storage of our extra equipment, coolers, and gear. Beds are very comfortable, great furniture, and the house is nicely updated and decorated. We will definitely be staying here again!

Amazing clean lovely on water super comfortable

This was my first time staying in an Airbnb and it was better than I could imagine. Deedee’s home was cozy and eclectic, my bed was so comfy, and it was super clean. Everyone had plenty of space for themselves. The roof deck was wonderful with all the birds chirping and the view of Lake Eerie. Thank you , Deedee, for being a fantastic host and letting us enjoy your lovely home!

Well appointed and designed condo with higher end flooring, furniture and beds. The Murphy bed is as comfortable as the bed in the master bedroom (make sure you have two people to open up the bed as it’s on the heavier side when pulled down). Great layout and very nice deck overlooking the pool and Marina. Definitely would rent again when we return to the area

Great house and well appointed kitchen! The use of the 6-person golf cart is a fabulous perk. Michael was very responsive and a terrific host. Highly recommend this lovely home for anyone looking for a relaxing island vacation.

Let me start by saying we were greeted our first morning with 2 swans who would eat out of my hand and our last morning was greeted by 2 deer who were playing in the surf. Even though our last day was a little stormy, I feel it only made the experience better because of the wave action we got to watch and listen to the night before we left. This place is all as described and more. They had everything we didn't realize we needed to have a great time. I recommend this place to anyone who wants off the beaten track and the ability to enjoy nature at its finest!! We did go to cedar point one day, but i don't consider that the highlight. This place is the highlight, being able to listen to the sounds of crashing waves to go to sleep to... it was almost heaven. Host are very proactive and give lots of suggestions of where to go/ what to do, but honestly my favorite days were the days we didn't leave! Hope to be able to go back as soon as we have more PTO at work 😆.

Stayed here for a convention in Sandusky with some friends and we were super thrilled with our stay! From the pictures it was a little hard to make out the layout and size of the place, so we were very pleasantly surprised walking in. We were within walking distance of the lake, and this stay will now have a special place in my heart as my fiancé proposed right on the beach! We will be back if we are in Sandusky again!

very quiet neighborhood, clean spacious house. Parking was big enough for a truck and trailer. The garage was a bonus to keep motorcycle overnight. Great little place

This home fit our needs perfectly (5 adults) for a baseball tourney and playtime at Cedar Point. Very clean!! The 4 minute drive to Sports Force was perfect without having to be in a traffic area.

What more could you ask for? Oh yeah- for it to never end. Michael’s home is more than that, it’s a sanctuary of serenity, paired with some of the most gorgeous views Lake Erie has to offer. Spacious, clean, and private. Last but not least- a bird aficionados paradise, the most exciting bird of the weekend a Baltimore Oriel. Would recommend this place 10/10 times.

What a charming house, and it couldn't get closer to the water without being a houseboat! The furniture was comfortable, but the views were the real star here. We loved sitting in the sun room at night playing cards while watching the lake. Also Alex was great to communicate with and very friendly and helpful. I hope we'll make it back to stay again sometime!

Definitely would use this place again. It was clean and remarkable the game room was fun for my children and Mark was a delight to deal with. There was a lot of restaurants in the area and it was right by the lake.

If I could rate the hosts and property more than 5 stars I would. The home was perfect especially for those who may need a one floor plan like us. It is cozy, welcoming and comfortable. We had a great time and made the perfect place to come “home” . Thank you Aaron and Rebecca for everything that you do and did to make our stay fabulous!!! We will be back!!

Sometimes when I get an Airbnb I imagine going back, and never do. This one WILL be a place we stay at again because it was so perfect! Susan is amazing - so friendly, easy to talk to, and makes you feel right at home. Loved the location on PIB and the beautiful surroundings. Literally nothing negative to say!
