Cabin holiday rentals in Lake Whitney

If you are traveling to Glen Rose and need a quiet place to stay that is close to town but away from it all, this is your place. The creek and the little waterfall added a serene ambiance. Also, Miss Kimmie was lightning fast in communicating, and extremely helpful and courteous. This is my first call the next time I travel to that area.

What a great location! In the daytime, we were able to hear and see lots of cardinals, listen to the water flowing, swim in the pool, and just enjoy being outside. The outdoor area was very well thought out / designed. The cabin was incredibly cozy and the loft area was a hit with our daughter! We will definitely be bookmarking this, since we are already recommending this place to friends and family and looking at times for when we could return.

Theo was amazing and responsive! They home was beautiful and so relaxing being in nature out in the pool. We saw sooo many bunnies while swimming and it was such a peaceful girls getaway trip. Only a 40 minute drive to the Silos! We will be coming back soon with the rest of our family.

My wife and I stayed at Lakeside East at Live Oak Lake, and we both agree—it was hands down the best Airbnb experience we’ve ever had. From the moment we walked in, everything felt peaceful, intentional, and incredibly well-designed. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and filled with little touches that made it feel like a true retreat. Waking up to the lake just outside the window, enjoying coffee on the deck, and just soaking up the quiet atmosphere was exactly what we needed. It was the perfect mix of luxury and comfort. We’ve stayed at quite a few places over the years, but this one really stands out. We’re already talking about when we can come back. Huge thanks to the hosts for creating such a beautiful and unforgettable space.

The trip finally made it out of the group chat!! We booked Kim’s place for our first ever family trip and it was PERFECT! The babies had a blast being able to roam around inside and outside safely! Our pups enjoyed being able to run as fast as possible around the property 🥹 we had plenty of space for our two households and the kitchen was well stocked for us to cook meals and snacks🤍 We loved every second of our little vacay! The view was incredible. Us adults enjoyed quiet early mornings and late nights on the big back porch 🤍

Idyllische Landschaft, perfekt um abzuschalten, aber auch gute Verbindung nach Waco. Gemütlich eingerichtet. Einfach toll.

Very enjoyable stay. We especially loved walking around the quiet neighborhood in the evenings. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, a variety of seasonings and oil to prepare meals. Andrew also provided plenty of beach towels for any water activities. We recommend having a meal at the Texas cafe in Whitney.

The cabin was very comfortable. We didn't cook, but the kitchen seemed well stocked. We couldn't find dish soap or a dishcloth, so the few items we used had to go in the dishwasher. I felt bad running it for so few items. We did make use of the chess set. That was nice. The location is beautiful and quiet. There were restaurants fairly close, so I was able to take a break from cooking. We enjoyed our stay.

She was great at responding and helped any questions and needs. The place was very clean and had everything that was listed. WiFi was a little spotty but no worries. Only thing I would say about our stay was, it does need to be cleaned under the beds and furniture due to a few Cochroaches but keep in mind it wasnt bad and it’s also not in the city. Overall it was a great stay!

For anyone attending or hosting an event at the Stonebridge Wedding and Event venue in Blum, this is the place to stay. It can sleep up to 9, has lots of linens and towels and is just lovely. Well decorated, the kitchen was the best stocked with lots of items for cooking/baking at ‘home’. We were sad it wasn’t cool enough to take advantage of the fire pit outside.

Absolutely wonderful place for my kids to come visit & be close to me. Older home renewed to pioneer woman decor! 3 beds, large recliner & couch gave plenty of room for all to sleep comfortably. Great wifi! Kelly & other members of this Airbnb are AMAZING kind & always close if you need anything

Place was cool. It said I was going to get one place but got a totally different cabin, different names and all that. Some of the towels weren’t clean all the way. Very clean upon arrival tho, lovely place and cozy. Neighbors were nice and so was the staff! Definitely recommend it!

This cabin was a wonderful retreat for our family. My wife and I have 4 kids all under 11 and we all loved it! All our kids slept up in the loft (our two boys shared a twin and our two girls shared the other twin) which was like a tree fort for them, they were thrilled! The cabin was cozy, spotlessly clean, and the king bed was very comfortable. All the furniture is very comfortable as well, especially the chairs in the living room and on the deck, which was a lovely feature of property… we got to watch a few Texas thunderstorms roll in while we were there and the peaceful atmosphere on the porch as we enjoyed the sound of the rain and thunder was a highlight of the trip. We had some neighbors in the cabin next-door, but they were great AND there is a large bush between the two cabins which obscures any view, which was nice and gives the porch a private feel. The AC/heating also works fantastic and it was super close to Homested Heritage activities. We will be back for sure! Thanks!

I enjoyed sitting at the back porch watching my dog play. The acreage is fenced in so it was great to let the dog run and play. The place was roomy enough since it was just us two. It rained quite a bit while I was there so the covered carport and covered walking path were very nice. The kitchen has everything for meal prepping. Linder and Jaye were very helpful and I would stay again when needed. Oh yeah, the place has an automatic gate which was awesome too!

Very beautiful change of scenery. My kids loved being able to play outside in the rain with no care in the world. The lake was a small walk away but it gave them time to unwind after having soo much fun. Definitely will come back again.

We so enjoyed our stay, loved the cabin, the decor, the history and the location. We liked it so much that we have already booked our next stay at the cabin. ❤️

Such an adorable place. Our first Tiny Home stay. In hindsight, choosing a place with Murphy bed placement lengthwise would have given more room, but I cannot find fault with The Farmhouse for my lack of knowledge. The area was very drivable to downtown Waco attractions, but gave us the luxury of being out of the city to just relax for a holiday weekend. Plenty of wildlife to enjoy, including a very friendly Roadrunner. We especially enjoyed our visit to Homestead Heritage down the road. Such wonderful craftsmanship and artisans, and the Saturday market is a treat! The neighborhood of Container Tiny Homes was very well maintained, and we enjoyed the neighboring farm kids riding their bikes around the loop. Something you don’t often experience in the city. Kenneth was extremely responsive to a couple of small issues, and a very kind and attentive host. While I’m not sure we will choose a Tiny Home again, I would not hesitate to choose another property hosted by Kenneth.

I have been staying at this place for 5 years now. It’s extremely private, clean, comfortable and in a country setting.
