Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Lake Tuscaloosa

Amy, the host, has thought of everything! The house is super clean, well organized and the story of the home makes you feel an instant connection. Amy’s response time to any questions was always stellar. Our son goes to the University of Alabama so we intend to be repeat customers!! The attention to detail Amy has given to this property is phenomenal!

Our stay at Courtney’s home was perfect and we wish we had found this gem earlier in my son’s college years !

Came to town with some friends for A-Day Weekend. Plenty of space, easily accommodated five adults and one infant. Very clean. Clear, proactive instructions. Large Queen and king beds with Roku TVs in each room. Comfortable beds. Very easy to find, in a pretty decent area. Close to Tuscaloosa and all the stadiums. Would definitely stay here again!

This is a very nice and very large house. We were able to have the whole family here for our daughter’s graduation. Molly even took extra steps to help us celebrate the occasion with some decorations and extras that were very thoughtful. I would recommend this home to everyone.

We had a wonderful stay at the charming Historic Train House. Traveling as two adults and two young children (with visiting adult children), the space was perfect for our family. The house is full of character, beautifully maintained, located just across the Historic Train Depot which added a unique and memorable touch to our stay. As one might expect from the name of the home, it is very close to train tracks, but the trains pass slowly, creating a soothing background ambiance rather than anything jarring. It actually added to the charm and peacefulness of the experience. The king-sized bed was especially comfortable, and all the beds were cozy and inviting. The entire house had a lovely, clean scent (including the linens) which made the space feel extra fresh and relaxing. The host was exceptional, kind and responsive, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. We are already planning our next trip back and can't wait to stay here again. Highly recommend!

Leah was the perfect host. She was responsive and so helpful. We would definitely stay at her beautiful home again. A perfect location if you are visiting the University of Alabama.

Loved our stay here while in town for our daughter’s orientation at the University of Alabama. Short drive to campus and in a quiet neighborhood. Beautifully decorated, clean, everything you need in the kitchen, and comfortable beds. Enjoyed the sweet treats the host had for us upon arrival!

Rented the place for my daughter’s graduation from the University of Alabama. It was a very nice place and perfect for our family! Wesley was very responsive! We would definitely stay again.

Amy proactively sent us detailed instructions in advance as the location is secluded and GPS doesn’t locate it well. Inside the unit has been nicely remodeled will many homely touches and quality furniture. Cleanliness from top to bottom was PRISTINE. Great stay and though secluded, the location is close to everything we needed. Thanks Amy!

We had a great time this weekend and everything was just as described. The outdoor living areas, outdoor activities, etc made a fantastic weekend semi unplugged. We enjoyed family time on the porch and around the fire. The top of the property behind the lake had a beautiful star gazing view! No one wanted to leave and we were discussing plans on coming back. Thanks again!

This was my second time staying here. For future trips, I plan to continue to check availability here first and stay here whenever it’s available. It’s a very peaceful and private place to stay. It’s clean and Denise is very helpful and makes sure we always have whatever we need to feel at home.

Josh’s place was great! I was in town with my four teenagers while doing college tours and squeezing in some hiking and outdoor time. I was looking for a place that was close enough to UA but also felt like i was in nature. This was perfect for that. It’s only 10-15 min from anything you would want to do in Tuscaloosa. And we felt completely safe. The cabin was gorgeous. The bedding situation was great for the teenagers. Loved the lofts and open floor plan. The fire pit and outdoor seating area is gorgeous. And every night we saw so many fire flies at the tree lines. It’s was so pretty! The only “complaint” that I have is related to the shower curtain in the clawfoot tub. It’s not convenient for the shower functionality bc it touches you when you stand in there. But i adjusted by taking a bath instead 😊

We had an absolutely amazing time at Monica’s place! The cabin was clean, cozy, and beautifully set up with so many thoughtful touches. One of the highlights for us was finding dog treats and doggy ice cream in the freezer our pup was thrilled, and it meant so much that he was thought of too! We took full advantage of the kayaks, paddle boards, and paddle boat and had an absolute blast on the water. The furniture was all very comfortable, and the entire space had such a welcoming vibe. The amenities were above and beyond there was coffee, seasonings, toiletries, medicine in case you forgot anything, and even a great selection of board games. Monica really thought of everything. We couldn’t have asked for a better weekend getaway!
