House holiday rentals in Lake Tillery

The house is even more beautiful once you’re there. Pictures do not do it justice. So many comfortable amenities that make you feel at home. Beds are very comfortable, everything is spotless and we spent many nights by the fire on the screened porch and mornings looking out over the lake. The host was fabulous and so responsive. This will be the ONLY place we stay when we visit family in NC.

We stayed here for a youth state shooting tournament . The boys wanted to fish more than go to the tournament! It’s a safe community with a pond in the back and close access to the lake! We enjoyed it!

Beautiful house located in a cove of the lake so it was very peaceful. Alejandro was very responsive and quick to fix a minor issue we had when we arrived. I’d definitely visit again.

We enjoyed our stay at this campground! The location is absolutely beautiful, and everything was clean and well-maintained. It’s such a peaceful spot, and we loved being so close to the NC Zoo – a perfect place to visit! Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to get away in nature but still be near a fun, family-friendly attraction. Will definitely stay here again!

Perfect place for our family, the pool, activities, games, and fishing were enjoyed by my children and grandchildren! Plenty of comfortable beds and large dining table that makes for a cozy, roomy and great time as we gathered! Ranin always answered and assisted very promptly also! We had a wonderful time very likely to return!

This place was perfect for our crew of 8. Everyone had plenty of room and the space they needed. The location could not be beaten with the water being right across a private road with your own dock access. We spent many hours out there and in the private pool in the backyard. The host also let us check in early since we were ahead of schedule. Five star stay

This was our second visit to Nicole and Kevin's place on High Rock Lake. We had a wonderful 5 nights with my sister and two children, my daughter and her husband and my husband The house is beautiful, just as described, the pool and the hot tub are a wonderful addition, we had fun fishing off the dock and just spending time with each other. A lovely location and so relaxing. We hope to come back again someday

Louisa Jane was a wonderful host for a very last minute booking by a mom for some college kids traveling to Charlotte for a concert! The original site I requested was unavailable and she quickly offered an equally wonderful accommodation and provided fantastic communication for the new location. My friends and I had an amazing weekend staying here! From the early mornings drinking coffee on the dock to kayaking and laying on the water hammock to relaxing in the hottub and chilling by the fire at night! We were able to have easy access to all the amenities and had plenty of space in the house for everyone! Kitchen had everything we needed and even with 8 people we didn’t run out of clean towels! Grocery store wasn’t too far and we even took advantage of karaoke night at a local bar. We also went to a drive in movie that was a quick 30 minute drive away. We only had one minor issue upon arrival which Kristen was extremely quick to resolving. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend to any group big or small!

This is our 3rd time staying at High Rock Lake, we’ve bounced around and this was one of the best spots to stay! First we were stoked about an early check in, that was 1 extra hour we got to spend on vacation!! The house was very clean and was well put together. It came with lots of special touches like a dog kennel, bowls and a mat; separate towels for the lake, and black washcloths for make up’d faces. The screened in porch was our favorite spot and we spent a lot of time there! The kitchen was stocked with all of the appliances you could possibly want and plenty of cookware. We had a small issue upon arrival (out of everyone’s control) and our hosts were quick to respond and resolve and it was much appreciated! We really enjoyed the kayaks and fishing off the dock - it was nice there were so many chairs and it made it easy to enjoy multiple spaces. If you’re looking for a great getaway, this is the spot!

An Unforgettable Getaway – Highly Recommended! This place is an absolute gem! From the breathtaking location to the warm and welcoming hosts, every aspect of our stay was exceptional. If you’re considering a peaceful escape, don’t miss this one — it truly lives up to the hype. We enjoyed a relaxing vacation filled with outdoor adventures. We went kayaking, had a great time fishing (I even caught an 8” catfish on my very first try!), and ended our evenings with cozy bonfires under the stars. What truly stood out was the hospitality. The host went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and had everything we needed, all while giving us complete privacy throughout our stay. We made the drive all the way from Philadelphia, and I can confidently say it was more than worth it. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

We loved this house! It felt brand new, it was super clean, well stocked and all the beds were comfortable. We’ve always dreamed of having a lake house of our own and this place just further intensified that vision! It felt SO quiet and private. I’ve stayed on other areas of HRL that felt much more congested with noisy neighbors where you are forced to hear someone else’s playlist all day. You won’t feel that here! The swimming right off the dock was so good. We rented a pontoon boat with a tube and pulled our teenage girls around for hours! The game room was perfect for when we got some afternoon rain. I’d definitely stay here again. Heather was very communicative. Check in/out was easy. I’m sure this is mentioned in the listing but it’s not a good place for anyone with mobility issues (lots of steep inclines to walk up). Though, we met our stair goals each day and are heading home with stronger calves!

My family and I had an awesome time at their lovely lake house. The galley kitchen was cute, great for buffet style eating. The house was bright and airy, the sunsets were amazing. There’s plenty of yard in the front and back for yard games. There’s boat access right around the corner, walking distance. Would definitely recommend their vacation home.

This little home is a gem! It’s a perfect getaway secluded in the beautiful NC wilderness. The outdoor area is great to drink coffee and listen to the birds or build a fire at night, the studio had everything we needed and was very cute. The area is decorated to be so whimsical and fun, and when you meet Cate it all makes sense! Cate is the most wonderful host in all ways imaginable. She was more than happy to help us with whatever we needed and was very generous. Cate’s care and intention for her sanctuary shines through her actions and her delicious food. We came to visit family and stay in a secluded air bnb, but we left with an experience, fellowship and memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you Cate!

This home EXCEEDED our expectations!! The location is secluded but close to everything! Every turn in the house there is something new and cool to look at! A crowd favorite was the “party bathroom.” We would 100% stay here again!

Nice and quaint. Owners of the airbnb are very friendly, always willing to help, and welcoming. Property is very beautiful and well kept. We went fishing in the pond and caught a bunch of fish (catch and release) throughout our time. Main stores are about 20-30 minute drive but theirs a dollar general about 3 minutes down the road. Lots to do in the area if needed. Good getaway to relax, and break contact from the world for a bit. Highly recommend for anyone looking to relax, focus on family, and enjoy nature. Bunch of different hiking trails in the area and the city of Charlotte for everything it offers.

Amazing home right on the lake. Lots of room for our whole extended family. Kids loved the kayak, paddle boards etc. Great directions on how to get there and access everything. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook big family meals. Definitely would stay again.

This was an amazing stay! We had a great few days fishing on high rock, it was so nice having a private and peaceful place to come back to after a long day fishing. This is most definitely a place we will come back to! Thanks Angie for a great place to stay!

This was a fantastic home. We were at the lake for our son’s wedding and needed a place to accommodate immediate family and friends. Serenity at the Lake was THE perfect place. Plenty of room for all the adults to stretch out, relax and prepare for events. Communication with host was prompt. Highly recommend Serenity at the Lake and I would not hesitate to return.

Second year staying here, and hopefully not the last. The lake, the views, the sunsets, the house! It’s all wonderful and amazing. Go book this place, our kids loved every minute and we did too.
