This home is THE place when you need a true vacation! First, the directions were very clear and the check-in was seamless. Second, the landscaping is so lush and vibrant. You feel like you are stepping away from the world. Third, inside is fantastic! From comfy beds, beautiful artwork, plentiful towels and linens, to absolutely everything you could ever need, the home was perfect! But most of all, the view! Can you beat watching a bald eagle fish right in front of you, with Mt. Rainier in the background? Amazing! I would rent here again without any hesitation. Thank you for helping to make our vacation just perfect!

This place is magical. It has a panoramic view of the lake, and wildlife galore. We watched two Canada geese families just feet from the windows, and duck parents with their ducklings shared the yard with the geese, deer, and a bunny. The home is spacious and nicely decorated. I did a lot of cooking while there, and I found all utensils I needed. Thanks, Michelle, for keeping pantry items left by previous guests! Our 4 day stay was delightful in this tranquil setting, and we would love to return.

We spent our christmas holiday for 10 days at Sam's property with my two grandkids and my daughter and her husband. It was absolutely magical. We enjoyed the use of the kayaks and cold plunged! The kids loved the house and literally cried when we had to leave. The backyard is perfect for kids. We really gave the fireplace a workout. It is a really beautiful wood burning (can't find that too often) fireplace that added to the coziness of the home. The layout of the home is perfect for families. It has a great room that allows you to see everything going on which is very relaxing when travelling with a 3 and 4 year old. The kitchen has spacious countertops and top end appliances. The home has 3 - yes 3 - bathrooms that are all full bathrooms with showers or tub. The view from the house is outstanding. I will miss waking up to that view with my coffee. We had an amazing experience staying this wonderful Air Bnb, it truly felt like a home away from home! Cindy was accommodating, respectful and friendly—making us feel welcomed from the start! The decor in the home was beautifully set up, blending rustic charm with modern elegance, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere for us all! One of the highlights we had was having the opportunity to kayak and paddle board, allowing us to explore the lake and experience the beauty of nature up close, while fishing! In the evenings, we enjoyed our time by sitting around the stunning outdoor fireplace, which fostered laughter, stories, and connection, making our time together truly special! Overall, your lakehouse Airbnb exceeded all our expectations, including the opportunity to see a deer! We wholeheartedly recommend this hidden gem to anyone. We’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to stay in such a beautiful and thoughtfully curated place. Can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely one of the best homes we have stayed in. Everything was extremely clean and organized. You felt right at home and so many well thought out extras. Our family had the most relaxing time and enjoyed playing in the lake with the paddleboard and kayaks.

Aimee was super responsive! Little Blue Cabin was super cute and exactly what we needed for a quick getaway to Roy. Highly recommend!

Our stay at the Otter Haven was wonderful! The views are breathtaking, no matter the weather or time of day. It was the perfect space for us to host some out of town family members and finally enjoy our first holiday gathering since before the pandemic. There was plenty of space, seating, beds, and everything else we needed during our stay. Glen was very responsive and available for questions while we made arrangements and plans for hosting Thanksgiving dinner (and our own home is close by, so the convection oven was perfect for our needs). We love finding gems near home, and I can definitely see us staying at the Otter Haven sometime in the future (maybe when the weather is warm enough to enjoy the kayaks and outdoor spaces!). The property was wonderfully peaceful and private. I loved the little balcony off the bedroom with the perfect view of the lake. Across the road was Sam’s, a shop selling all essential groceries and more. A lot of thought had gone into making sure everything needed was available within the house. We will definitely stay here again when we are in Federal Way.

Peaceful, warm atmosphere with lots of space. Love the view out the living room window of the beautiful, green, forest-like backyard. Can’t wait to stay here again.

We stayed in this place for 52 days. It worked very well for our family of 4 and a small dog. It had plenty of beds, the sheets and towels were very nice quality. The place was roomy and we were comfortable. We missed having a TV in the upstairs because the dog was not allowed in the downstairs. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of pots, pans, silverware, utensils, etc. There was a gas grill that was nice and an extra propane tank for use when we ran out. It was a quick switch and we appreciated this. It was cold for the area when we were there and the heated kitchen floors and bathroom floors were amazing. There was plenty of parking for our 2 vehicles and a trailer. From the description it was unclear if we could use the garage which we could not. There were several doors to the outside with ample deck and patio area. We needed to extend our state a week and they were flexible for us which was helpful.

Our family of eight had a wonderful time in Seattle during our spring break trip, and one of the highlights was staying at Thai’s home. The house was spotless, fully equipped, and perfect for a large family like ours. The serene view of the lake made our stay even more enjoyable. Thai was incredibly kind and helpful—he welcomed us on arrival and checked in throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. We highly recommend this home to anyone looking to make their trip memorable and truly worthwhile.

This is the third time we’ve stayed at Sarah’s and really love her house. It’s within walking distance of a park and the store. And close to our favorite hikes. We played many games of corn hole and utilized the hot tub. The house is well stocked with plenty of plates, cutlery, towels, cozy blankets and more. I’m sure we’ll be back.

Great host, beautiful home close to everything. Swam at the lake and walked to the park. Only took 12min to get to downtown convention center. The house was so beautiful. The shower was lovely and large tubs! Adorable backyard retreat.

This home is beautiful and right on the lake. It is one of the most peaceful places we've stayed at. Allen was quick to respond and very accommodating. We had a lovely time and would love to come back!

We loved our stay here! It was a quiet cabin weekend to celebrate a bride-to-be and the place was perfect. So many windows for light and the lake was such a nice treat! Washington doesn’t have AC so when heat waves happen, it gets hot inside (we’re local so this didn’t bother us), and the windows & fans helped keep it cool. Would definitely recommend!

The “light filled Lake house” was exactly that and more. Extremely comfortable beds and living area. We were able to have our family visit us and enjoy a meal together because the kitchen had absolutely everything you could possibly need to make a meal. This home is very private and peaceful so a vehicle is necessary to get out and about for daily activities other than spending a day by the lake which is right outside the back door. Kristine had coffee, trash bags, sandwich bags and other necessities available that we did not expect, which was a pleasant surprise. The Kayaks are not available in the Winter which is understandable, however our days were busy visiting family and sight seeing. Gig harbor (gorgeous!) 20 mins drive away. Seattle, one hour away with a thoroughly enjoyed Ferry ride. We highly recommend this home as your accommodations.

This lake house was a fabulous weekend oasis! We loved paddling around in the little boat and sitting on the doc. The view is so tranquil. We spent hours sitting in the backyard just listening to the birds and watching fish jump!

We had an amazing stay. Very private and VERY relaxing. Great view. Super cute second bedroom and playroom for families with children. Very comfortable beds. It has a well stocked, roomy kitchen. The entire house was very clean. We barbecued outside on the deck while watching all of the activities on the lake. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit as well. Billie was a wonderful host. She checked with us in via the app to see if we needed anything, and from the moment I booked several months ago she was very quick to respond to all inquiries. We would highly recommend this this place.
