1924 Spanish Villa - 2 Blocks to Cavalier & Beach!

Rich in history, this 1924 Spanish Villa has been restored to vintage perfection. Situated on Princess Anne Golf Course with sprawling views. Huge living room, one large bedroom, two outdoor patio areas. Three blocks to the boardwalk, 5 min walk and a 3 min bike ride to the beach. Beach towels included! No kitchen but does include mini fridge, microwave, coffee pot with coffee/filter, & Culligan hot/cold filtered water. Murphy queen bed in bedroom & Queen highend sleeper couch in living room!

My house is in a quiet neighborhood by a creek of the Lynnhaven River 7 miles from the Oceanfront/Chesapeake Bay with easy access to the interstate and surrounding cities in Hampton Roads. Only minutes from Town Center and local malls. Your private area is the 1st level with your own private entrance, but no kitchen. There is small microwave and a coffee machine in the unit , & a small fridge on the screened-in-porch.

There is a large outdoor eating and seating area for 4 to 6. There is a private walkway to the unit and an outdoor shower. The property is located on the ocean side of Atlantic Avenue so there is no crossing a busy street to get to the beach.

PLEASE READ TO THE END!!!!!! Our home is close to restaurants, parks, the resort oceanfront and art and culture. You’ll love our place because of the location and the ambiance. Our space is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers or small families. Please know that my wife and I live in the other half of the house. There is NO shared space!!! You have a private entrance with full & private access to all amenities. Our home is LGBTQ+ friendly because LOVE IS LOVE!

I stayed at Laura's for five days while needing to balance working from home and traveling to Norfolk for doctor's appointments. I was greeted with kindness and given all the information I needed. I enjoyed knowing I was in a safe, quiet space, and that I had privacy, but also that there was a lovely couple available should I need anything. The room was plenty big and well equipped for me to be comfortable. Having a private bathroom, sofa, table to work at, refrigerator, and tv made it really easy to feel right at home. The coffee prepared and available just outside my door each morning was an awesome perk! The neighborhood was safe, and I was able to take peaceful walks in the morning and evening. I even did the "Miracle Walk" suggested in the guest folder. There's also a small park just behind the house with lovely trees! This stay was super easy, and Laura was very responsive for any questions I had. I would absolutely stay here again!

We had an amazing stay at Dafna & Ron’s place! Ron was very welcoming and helpful, and he was really flexible with checkin and checkout because they didn’t have guests coming after us. The bed was super comfy. The room is pretty small (as advertised) but it worked for what we needed, as we spent most of our time at the beach and out exploring. The location is great, it’s in a beautiful neighborhood just a 5 minute walk to an uncrowded residential beach, and 15 min walk to the start of the boardwalk. I would definitely recommend walking along the pedestrian path to the Cavalier Hotel and checking out the distillery (see the printout in the unit for details). We asked to borrow Ron and Dafna’s bikes, and they graciously lended them. We biked up and down the boardwalk and to First Landing state park. The only downside is sound does travel a little bit between the unit and their home as it’s attached - it wasn’t really a problem for us, but something to be aware of.
